Mrs. Barker was born November 27, 1933 in Polk County, Texas to parents, Marsh Ellis and Gladys (Matlock) Ellis, and passed away December 18, 2014 in Galveston, Texas. On October 1, 1954, she married
the love of her life, Truman “Pete” Barker. During her life, she began working at the First State Bank in 1965 and continued until 1993 when she retired as the Vice President. She is preceded in death by her husband, Truman “Pete” Barker and brother, Charles Ellis.
She is survived by her son, Allen Barker and wife, Nancy; son, Glen Barker and wife, Tammy; son, Mark Barker and wife, Charlotte; brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Shirley Ellis; sister and brother-in-law, Frances and Bob Parker; sister, Barbara Beymer; brother-in-law and wife, Roy and Linda McPike; grandchildren, Kaleb Barker and Mary Beth, Jared Barker and Alicia, Blake Meshell, Taylor Barker, Lauren Barker and Savannah Barker; great-grandchildren, Evan Pete Barker and Clayton Meshell; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Charles Wayne Tanner
Charles Wayne Tanner born on September 7, 1933 in Romayor, Texas to Henry J. Tanner and Maxine Dunaway Tanner, went to be with his Lord on December 16, 2014 at the age of 81. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 19 years, Lois Lilley Tanner; son, Carl Tanner; daughters, Valerie Tanner Wood & husband Harvey, Katherine Tanner Serna, Marvin Lilley, Howard Lilley & wife Liz; brother, James Tanner & wife Mary Lou; sister, Betty Warren & husband Rusty; 17 grandchildren, Joel Wood, Khristin New, Cody Wood, Rachael Siegel, Victoria Serna, Leslie Tanner, Hailey Smith, Maghan Tanner, Austin Wood, Erricka Serna, Madison Tanner, Chad Lilley, Jeremy Lilley, Michael Lilley, Kevin Lilley, Matt Lilley and Sonya Lilley; 12 great grandchildren, Seslee Wood, Shyenne New, Dustin New, Roper Wood, Elizabeth Bazaldua, Candon Wood, Dalton Taylor, T.J. A Celebration of Charles's life will be at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Pace Funeral Home with Pastor Mitchell Murphy officiating. Wallace "Wally" Wendell Loerch
Wallace “Wally” Wendell Loerch born on November 1, 1925 to Wendell H. Loerch and Regina Wiler Loerch in Fargo, North Dakota passed away on December 15, 2014 in Livingston, Texas at the age of 89. Those left to cherish his memory are sons, Thomas Randal Loerch and Philip A. Loerch; 4 grandchildren, Wendy Shelton & husband Cory, Christopher Loerch, Regina Loerch and Rebecca Loerch; 2 great grandchildren, Sidney Shelton and Cory Ray Shelton Jr.; sisters, Bonnie & Lisa; numerous other relatives and a host of friends. Wally was preceded in death by both his parents; wife, Marie Loerch; 3 brothers, Ronald Loerch, Jimmy Loerch and Maxwell Loerch; grandchild, Jean Maria Loerch; Wally loved to fish and hunt. Loved to watch football. He belonged to the American Legion Post #312 in Livingston, Texas. A highly decorated WWII veteran having served in the United States Army. Receiving multiple Purple Hearts, a Combat Infantry Badge. Numerous other awards and medals for his selfless service and dedication to his country. Thomas Steven Wright

Memorial services for Thomas Wright, 90, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the First Presbyterian Church in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Joe McDonald officiating.
Mr. Wright was born February 3, 1924 in Magnolia, Arkansas to parents, Ollie Butler Wright and Jennie Katherine (Keith) Wright, and passed away December 15, 2014 in Livingston, Texas. During his life, he graduated from the University of Arkansas with a business degree in 1950. In 1982, he retired from Amoco Oil in Texas City to pursue his passion for fishing, gardening and woodworking. He was an avid chess player with people all over the world via the internet as well as an elder in the First Presbyterian Church in Livingston. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Marshall Wright and sister, Virginia Cole.
He is survived by his wife, Joy Wright of Livingston, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Pat Campbell of Calahan, California; son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Robin Wright of Hitchock, Texas; son, Steve Wright of Nacogdoches, Texas; grandchildren, Mason and Tyler and Everett Hullquist; brother-in-law, Millard Cole of Prescott, Arizona; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Iverson (Ike) Barnett DeLaney
Ike DeLaney, 77, of Livingston TX, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 13, 2014 surrounded by family.
A visitation will be held 3:00-6:00 PM on Friday, December 19th at Cochran’s Funeral Home located at 406 Yaupon in Livingston, TX.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 20th at 10:00 AM at Cochran’s Funeral Home with Dr. Randall Lowe of Calvary Baptist Church of Trinity, TX officiating. The grave-side service and burial will follow at Peebles cemetery in Goodrich, TX.
Iverson (Ike) Barnett DeLaney was born in Lufkin, TX to Frances Nell Chambers and Letus Arthur Delaney on June 5, 1937. Ike attended most of his elementary school years in Goodrich. His family relocated to Pasadena, TX where he completed the remainder of his public education, thus graduating from Pasadena High School in 1956. He attended Sam Houston State University, while continuing to help his parents operate the family business at the Goodrich Telephone Exchange. Much later in life, he completed his vocational teaching certification through Texas A&M University and taught Automotive Repair in Pasadena ISD for many years.
Ike DeLaney and Mary Ruth Dominy eloped in March of 1959 and were married
in the home of Pat and Ellen Long of Goodrich, TX. The event was officiated by Pat Long and witnessed by Mary’s sister, Annette Dominy Lowe, and brother-in-law, Bobby Joe Lowe. The couple resided in Pasadena for most of their marriage before retiring to Polk County in 2005.
During that time, Ike held a variety of jobs in addition to his previously mentioned teaching career. He was a successful salesman for the Flowers’ Sunbeam Bread Bakery of Houston, and later, for Frito-Lay. Mr. DeLaney owned and operated a series of businesses including Ike’s Small Engine Repair, Ike’s Automotive Repair, Partner’s Marine and Automotive Repair with long-time friend, Bill Thames, and a machine shop. Nothing gave him more joy than taking something apart, putting it back together, &/or teaching someone else how to do the same.
Iverson was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Mary Ruth DeLaney, his parents, Letus and Frances Delaney, his brother, Robert Arthur Delaney, and his nephews, Christopher and David Delaney. Also included are his in-laws: Leon and Louise Dominy, and Bill and Zeffa Dominy.
He is survived by his daughter, Rhonda deLaney Brodie of Livingston, and her three daughters: Kieran Sine’, J. Sterling, and Brienne Regan deLaney Brodie.
And, also, survived by his son, Bobby Rance DeLaney of Keller, his wife, Elizabeth, and their three children: Olivia Nicole, Elise Victoria, and Andre’ Rance DeLaney.
He is survived by his brothers and their spouses: Charles and Maydelle Delaney of Livingston, Kenneth and Lucy Delaney of Houston, and James and Pat Delaney of New Caney.
Also, he is survived by his in-laws: Annette Dominy and Bobby Joe Lowe of Livingston, and Ruth Gerlach and Tommy Dominy of Livingston.
Additionally, he is survived by his nieces and nephews: Richard Delaney, Nancy Delaney Garst, James Anthony Delaney, Shelly Delaney Dromgoole, Barbara Dominy Wishon, Jerry Dominy, Billie Dominy Street, Mike Dominy, Randall Lowe, Gary Lowe, Lynne Dominy, and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be David Dawlearn of Humble, Anthony Delaney of New Caney, Richard Delaney of Livingston, Ronnie (Bubba) Duke of Goodrich, Manuel Ramirez of Pasadena, and Kevin Thames of Cypress.
Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association in lieu of flowers.
