Quentin Earl Jones
Quentin Earl Jones, born on May 25, 1983 to Ruby Jones and Robert Selman, passed away on April 17, 2015 at his home in Old River at the age of 31. Those left to cherish his memory are his lifelong love, Amie Bell; daughter, Samantha Jones; parents, Ruby Jones and Robert Selman; siblings, Debra Selman, Kandra Jones, Jamie Selman, James Selman and Julie Todd; numerous nieces, nephews, lots of cousins and dear friends, all in which loved him very much. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bill Jones; aunt, Scharla Wells. Quentin loved hunting, fishing and spending evenings at home with his family. He was a very hard working man that worked and lived to take care of his little family. The thing he loved the most was just sitting with little Samantha on his lap watching TV. Quentin was a very loving father, brother, cousin, uncle, friend and most of all the best son a mother could ask for. Quentin although young, you are gone but never forgotten and will live forever in our hearts. RIP Baby Boy – FLY HIGH WITH THE ANGELS. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. on May 2, 2015 at Pace Funeral Home, 200 FM 350 North Livingston, Texas 77351. Graveside service will follow at 3:00 P.M. at Palms Memorial Park cemetery, Dayton Texas. Pastor Orval Barger will be officiating. Funeral services for James “Buddy” Barnett, 82, of Carlisle, Texas, will be held Sunday, May 3, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska, Texas with Luke Morgan officiating. Military Honors provided by VFW Post #8568. Interment

Mr. Barnett was born October 13, 1932 in Emeryfield, Texas to parents, Leon Barnett and Ezra Fidellis (Shepherd) Barnett, and passed away April 29, 2015 in Carlisle, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Ruth Morgan and Lieuvenia Berry.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Barnett; daughter, Debra Barnett Freshman; daughter and son-in-law, Joy Barnett Crow and Greg Crow; grandson, Brandon Crow; granddaughter, Morgan Crow; grandsons, Carson Crow, Jason Matthews, and Jimmy Matthews, brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Rose Barnett, Clayton and Pearl Barnett; sisters and brothers-in-law, Belauh and Scott Newport, Shirley and Sherrard Headley; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mr. Gay was born July 1, 1955 in Pasadena, Texas to parents, Edwin Glenn Gay and Hazel Nadine (Welch) Gay, and passed away April 27, 2015 in Longview, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Mrs. Cheek was born April 14, 1932 in Quanah, Texas to parents, Jessie Everet Duncan and Myrtie (Patterson) Duncan, and passed away April 28, 2015 in Lufkin, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Jessie Everett Duncan Jr.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Huey Cheek Sr. of Livingston, Texas; sons and daughters-in-law, Huey and Diana Cheek Jr. of Mt. Memorial service to celebrate the life of Dawn “Michelle” Laviolette Swaim, 45, of Willis, Texas, will be held Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas.
Dawn “Michelle” Laviolette Swaim, 45, of Willis, Texas, went to be with the Angels on April 26th, 2015 after a courageous battle with Melanoma. She was born February 24th, 1970 in Houston, Texas.
Michelle attended elementary and middle school in the Houston and Spring areas, and attended High School in Livingston and Spring graduating from Spring High School in 1988.
She lived most of her adult life in San Antonio and Canyon Lake, Texas.
In December 2012 Michelle relocated to the Houston area.
A Texas girl to the core she had a deep love for Texas Music and could always be found supporting her favorite band when they came to town.
Michelle is known for her positive attitude and a contagious Texas sized smile that always lit up the room!
She was also an avid sports fan and especially loved her Texans, Astros & Rockets.
Michelle was so proud of her two children, Dalton Allen Swaim and Devin Michelle Swaim, whom she absolutely adored and loved so much.
Michelle is survived by her children, Dalton and Devin; parents, Larry Laviolette, Sr & Sharon Stewart.; brothers, Larry Laviolette, Jr. and wife Nancy; Michael Sessions and wife Heather; Mark Sessions and wife Julie; sister, Elizabeth Sessions Vannapha and husband Vinny. Several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and a host of loved ones and friends.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Michelle’s sister-cousins, Amanda Morrison and Valerie Stewart, for their unwavering love and support as they journeyed side by side with Michelle.

Ms. Westcott was born April 1, 1928 in Houston, Texas to parents, Robert J. Westcott Sr. and Corrine E. (Gimbler) Westcott, and passed away April 25, 2015 in Conroe, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Robert Julius Westcott Jr., and Clifford E. Westcott; sisters, Margaret Campbell, Mildred Pierce, and Hampton Euton.
She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Wanda Westcott of Livingston, Texas; sister-in-law, Betty Westcott of Trenton, Texas; 22 nieces and nephews; along with numerous great and great-great nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
