NEW BOSTON, TEXAS - Essie Celeste Duke, age 100 of Malta, Texas passed away Monday, March 8, 2010 in a local hospital. Mrs. Duke was born September 19, 1909 in Malta, Texas. She was a member of the Church of Christ, a homemaker and is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Duke, three sons, Bobby, Charles and Billy James Duke and a son in law, John Inman.
Survivors include her daughter, Clara Inman of New Boston, Texas, one daughter in law, Hui Sun Duke of Malta, Texas, three grandsons and a granddaughter in law, Clyde and Reba Duke of Malta, Texas, Miles and Karen Inman of New Boston, Texas, Scott Inman of New Boston, Texas, two granddaughters, Patricia Nichols, Linda Bettell, four great grandchildren, Billy Jolly, Kim Mitchell, Tanner Inman, Chloe Page and a number of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at the Church of Christ, New Boston with Norman Wooten officiating. Interment
will be in Woodstock cemetery under the direction of Bates-Rolf, New Boston. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Woodstock cemetery Association.
Barbara Moore
Barbara Moore, age 64, of Maud, Texas, died March 17, 2010, in a local hospital. Mrs. Moore was born October 21, 1945, in Texarkana, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Moore, and daughter, Anna Waters.
She is survived by her mother, Jean Green of Maud, TX; two sisters, Phyllis Price and Marilyn White, both of Maud, TX; one son and daughter-in-law, Andy and Lisa Waters of Texarkana, TX; one granddaughter, Brooke Waters of Texarkana, TX; three nephews, one niece, four great-nephews, and two great-nieces.
A private service will be held by the family at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to AHEC Southwest Foundation, 300 East 6th St., Texarkana, AR 71854.
Mary Frances Nolte
Mary Frances Nolte, age 88, of Texarkana, Arkansas, died Friday March 19, 2010 at Queen City, Texas.
Mrs. Nolte was born May 6, 1921, at Texarkana, Arkansas, and had lived most of her life in Texarkana. She was a Charter member of Hickory Street Baptist Church and was retired manager of the S & H Green Stamp Store. She was preceded in death by her husband, Georg Nolte, and a daughter, Lita Morrison.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Kay Nolte of Texarkana, Arkansas and David and Penny Nolte of Queen City, Texas, one brother-in-law and three sisters-in-law, Carl and Dorothy Nolte of Texarkana, Arkansas, Agnes Barnett of Texarkana, Texas, and Thelma Brasuell of Memphis, Tennessee, eleven grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 P. M. Monday at East Memorial Gardens. Burial will be under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.

Olga Carlow Dickens
Olga Carlow Dickens, age 88, of Maud, Texas, died Friday, March 19, 2010 in a local retirement center.
Mrs. Dickens was born April 9, 1921 in Bowie County, Texas. She was a retired homemaking teacher, member of the Maud United Methodist Church, member of the Retired Teacher's Association and a member of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Clint Carlow and Raymond Dickens.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Judge James Carlow and Nancy Carlow of New Boston, Texas; one stepson and stepdaughter-in-law, Bennie and Brenda Dickens of Diboll, Texas; one sister, Thelma Black of Bedford, Texas; two grandsons and granddaughters-in-law, Brad and Ashley Carlow of Maud, Texas, Blake and Melinda Carlow of New Boston, Texas; six great grandchildren and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the Chapelwood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Coleman and Rev. Bill Lanigan officiating. Burial will be in Center Ridge cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening at the funeral home from 6:00 to 7:30 P.M.

Frank Wilson
Mr. Frank Sherrill Wilson, Jr., age 85 of Texarkana, Texas departed to be with his Heavenly Father in Glory on Sunday, March 21, 2010 with his family by his side.
Born in High Point, NC on April 18, 1924 to Margaret H. and Frank S. Wilson, Sr. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Thelma M. Dore and brother-in-law Raymond E. Dore.
A veteran with the 7th Infantry Division of the US Army stationed in the South Pacific during World War II, Mr. Wilson received several medals, including the Bronze Star. He was a former member of the Downtown Rotary Club and a longtime member of Hardy Memorial United Methodist Church where he served in many capacities, including Finance Chairman. He was a retired Senior Vice-President of Regions Bank in Texarkana. He enjoyed his family, was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and valued his many loyal friends.
Survivors include his devoted and loving wife of 60 years, Jodie Wilson, son Frank Scott Wilson, granddaughter Sarah Elizabeth Wilson and mother Renee Baker of Texarkana TX; one sister-in-law Margaret Earle Armstrong and husband Willie Armstrong of Lubbock; one niece Melita Jo Harris of Cedar Park, Texas; one nephew Doyle B. McAlister and wife Nanci of Colorado Springs; one great nephew Uriah Earl Harris of Austin; two great nieces and husbands Heather and Michael Kahl (and great great niece Mckinzie) and Emily and David Williams, all of Colorado Springs CO; other relatives and a host of friends.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at Hardy Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Garry Masterson officiating under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas. Interment
will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Bonnie Maxine Selman, age 76, of Texarkana, Texas, died Sunday, March 21, 2010 in a local hospital.
Mrs. Selman was born August 17, 1933 in Bowie County, Texas. She was retired from Day and Zimmerman Inc. and a member of the Red Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband Roy H. Selman of Texarkana, Texas; one sister, Dorothy Fomby of San Antonio, Texas; one brother Charles Clark of New Boston, Texas and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Wallace Edgar officiating. Burial is under the direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening at the funeral home from 6:00 to 7:30 P.M.

Sharen L. Wagner, age 52, of Texarkana, TX, died Thursday, March 18, 2010 at her residence.
Ms. Wagner was born October 21, 1957 in Oahu, Hawaii. She was a homemaker and a member of Sugar Hill Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother Joanne Corbin Ennis and a brother and sister.
She is survived by her father, William R. Ennis of Texarkana, TX, two daughters and sons-in-law, Robin and Mitchell Welch of Wichita, KS, Melissa and Brandon Cordell of Texarkana, AR; one brother, Tracy Ennis of Montgomery, TX; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Karen and Don Clark of Texarkana, TX, Dawn Domanski of Hooks, TX; one grandson, Dillon Wagner.
Services will be Monday at 10 A.M. at Chapelwood Memorial Garden Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Mynor Soper officiating under the direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 4 P.M at Chapelwood Funeral Home.
