Ernestine was born November 23, 1935 in Mason County to Ernest and Della Gibbs Crouch. A long time resident of Mason she was a homemaker and a member of Christ the King Church.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, James Gentry of Mason; sons Harold Gentry of Mason, Mitchell Gentry of Austin and Jeffrey Gentry of Junction; stepson Jeff Wilson of Mason; brothers Marvin and RL Crouch of Mason and a brother-in-law Walter Durst of Mason.
Pallbearers will be Sammy Crouch, Doug Crouch, Jerry Crouch, Tommy Durst, Edward Gentry, Bill Gentry and James Alfred Gentry. Honorary pallbearers are Walter Durst, Bill Chapman, Jesse Carraway, Tommy Gentry, Jack Crouch, Jessie Cavness, David Brockman and her church friends of Christ the King and Spring Street Gospel Church. Services will be officiated by Brother J. V. Foster of San Antonio and Brother Clifford Jordan of Mason.

Ms Allison is survived by her son Mike Allison of Junction; daughters Janis Wiggins of Kingsland and Susan Roberts of Brownwood; sisters Marie Murr of Junction, Joan Ash of Oregon and Katherine Bennett of Washington; Brothers Fred Gabrielson of Oregon and Ira Gabrielson of Washington.

Services were Monday March 14, 2005 at 2:00pm at the First Baptist Church in Junction under the direction of Gentry-Fife Funeral Home.
Survivors include her husband Milton Powell of Junction; two daughters, Marilyn C. Taylor of Ft. Worth, Edith E. Powell of Junction; 1 son Jay Milton Powell of Brooksmith, TX; 3 brothers, Davis Fite and Keaton Fite, both of Fostus, Missouri and Dan T. Fite of Houston.

Jessie Joe Cavaness Winslett, 78, passed away January 22, 2005 at Hill Country Care Center. She was born January 11, 1928 in Sutton County to Jesse Alva Cavaness and Stella Felps Cavaness.
She is survived by her daughter Stella Murr anad Grandson Alva Ray Alsup.
A private service was held.
Dorothy Marie (Murr) Burleson

On December 2, 2004, the Lord sent his Angel of Mercy and Kindness to grant our mother, nana, aunt and friend, Dorothy Marie (Murr) Burleson, peace at last. She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Murr Ramos; grandsons, Nick, Joshua and Zachary Ramos; two nieces, Tony Frady and Kay Mason; and one nephew, James Keith Coleman.
Dorothy was born in Jena, Louisiana, on April 23, 1923, to Mabel Ethel and William Green Coleman. She graduated in 1940 from Jena High School where she was named valedictorian. Dorothy completed her bachelor degree from Louisiana State College in January of 1944 and her master degree in August of 1957. She married
Charles Ernest Murr on May 27, 1945, and had two children, David Charles and Melissa Ann. Charles Ernest preceded her in death in 1970, David preceded her in death in 1982. Dorothy married
Gamewell David Burleson on September 8, 1981. G. D. preceded her in death in death in 1996.
Dorothy taught high school English for 28 of her 37 years of teaching. She was voted favorite teacher and teach of the year. Dorothy will be remembered by her students for her dedication to their success and for those "never-ending" vocabulary tests.
Dorothy became a Christian at any early age and served the Lord by singing in the choir as a member of First Baptist Church in Junction and the Trinity Baptist Church in Kerrville. She continued in choir at the Inn at Los Patios in San Antonio.
Dorothy was a very special mother and nana. She loved to tease her grandchildren with her humor and wit and could be seen inner tubing down the river or showing them how to shoot a basketball, Her love showed for them in everything she did, There were always hugs and cookies at Nana's house. She was a patient and loving mother who was devoted to raising her children to succeed in life.
She is best remembered by her smile, her gentle ways, and her encouragement to those around her. Dorothy will be missed in every way, but we are thankful she is with the Lord and know she is now our angel watching over us all We love you Mom, Nana.

Nona Faye Heffernan Bulkley, 91, died Tuesday, March 1, 2005, at the Edgewater Care Center in Kerrville. Services will be Friday, March 4, at 2:00pm at Gentry Fife Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Sunset cemetery in Mt. Home.
Survivors include son Tom Heffernan, stepsons Ralph Bulkley and Robert Bulkley and stepdaughter Sally Zimmerman.
Dixie G. Lewis

Dixie G. Lewis, 77, of Junction, passed away November 16, 2004 at her residence.
Dixie was born in London, Texas on August 29, 1927, to James Pierce and Eva Mae Gary. She was raised in Buffalo Gap and graduated from Wylie High School. She and Husband "Red" Lewis moved to Junction in 1960.
Dixie was a housewife, mother and served as Deputy Tax Assessor Collector of Kimble County for 35 years, retiring in 1997. Dixie was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed her grandchildren and her friends. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Junction.
The Reverends Laurie Barker, Jim Barker, Charles Alien and George Stewart officiated the service. Services were held at 2 P.M. Friday, November 19, at First Presbyterian Church of Junction, with burial in Junction cemetery.
Mrs. Lewis was preceded in death by her mother, father, 2 sisters, a brother and her husband.
Survivors include 2 daughters Sandra Newbury and husband Jamie of Bridgeport and Vicki Allen and husband Charles of Abilene; 2 sons, Gary (Butch) Lewis and wife Jeanette of Junction and Wayne Lewis and wife Kitty of Del Rio; 8 grandchildren, Raina Lively and husband Kim of Cleburne, Randy Newbury of Bridgeport, Lynzee Lewis of Del Rio. Chelsea Lewis of Vista, CA, Shauna Lewis and Shelby Lewis of Lubbock, Brad Alien of Monroe, LA, and Wade Alien of Abilene and 2 great-granddaughters, Logan and Keagan Lively of Cleburne.
Pallbearers include Archie Lcnnon. Larry Harrison, Buger Pruitt, Elzy Beam, Paul Bierschwale, Sean Leamons and Jeff Gentry.

Eugene Milton Findley, 86, died Thursday, April 7, 2005 in Fredericksburg. Service was Sunday April 10, 2005 at the College Street Church of Christ of Junction with internment following in Junction cemetery. Family visitation was Saturday, April 9 from 5-7 PM in the Gentry-Fife Chapel.
Survivors include his wife Emma Sue Guthrie Findley of Junction: son Jerry Wayne Findley and daughters Jean Bryant and LaJuana Peeples.

Services were held graveside at Gooch cemetery in Mason on Tuesday, January 25, 2005 at 2:00pm.
Survivors include 4 sons: Bobby Joe Hughes, Bascom Dee Hughes, David William Hughes, and W.R. Hughes; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
James Gentry

James Gentry, 74, died Tuesday, February 1, 2005 in a Kerrville Hospital. Family visitation was held Thursday February 3, 2005 at the Gentry-Fife Funeral Chapel. Services were held Friday, February 4th at 10AM with interment in Gooch cemetery in Mason at 2PM.
