On August 17, 2015, the complexion of heaven was forever brightened! No doubt, Jimmy "Carolyn" May Johnson bounded through the gates of Glory with a wide smile, an infectious laugh and a new appreciation for life and breath. Carolyn was born on July 1, 1943 in Memphis, TX to Corbie James May and Dorothy Lutts May. She passed from this life on August 17, 2015 in Lubbock, TX. Between those two dates, she invested herself in the lives of her family, the students of Motley County, her church, and her community. She was a giver and continually gave of herself joyfully. She was a member of Faith Fellowship Church in Matador, TX. She married
Arnold Johnson on September 1, 1961.

Grief is the price we pay for loving well; therefore, we grieve. Yet, we grieve with a glorious hope as we anticipate our promised reunion in heaven. Until that day, may we seek to mirror Carolyn's ability to focus on the positive, see the good in others and always leave people and things better than we found them.
