Dave Franklin Willis went to meet his Lord on February 6, 2015. Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at the Moore-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Floydada with Robert J. Beck and Josh Winbourn officiating. Masonic Graveside Services will follow at the Floydada cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Monday, February 9, 2015 at Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Floydada. Arrangements are under the care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Floydada.
He was born on September 10, 1926, in the Lakeview Community, Floyd County. Papaw your were made of hard work, determination and tradition he was. His words were firm but his love was kind. Games, fishing and wood working treasures, these are the things We remember you by most of all. Peace is found knowing he has been reunited with his true love walking hand in hand the golden streets together. Though his time is finished here it has only begun in Heaven. A place of majesty we can only dream of. His laughter will live forever in us as we carry on his memory. After a period of illness we are grateful he is no longer in pain and is now with our Lord.
He is preceded in death by his wife; Frances Willis and his parents.
Dave is survived by his three children: Donna Willis Crumpler, Bobby Willis, Danny Willis and wife Billie; six grandchilren, Tavia Crumpler, Shayne Crumpler and wife Rachele, Heather Winbourn and husband Josh, Jenae Ashbrook and husband Chris, Brooke Sanchez and husband Stephen, and Sabra McFarland and husband, Logan, nine great grandkids; Tucker and Landry Crumpler, Addie Jo, Porter, and Josie Winbourn, Evie Cox, Braelyn, Raef, Renner McFarland and two new addition; Baby Sanchez and Baby Ashbrook arriving in the summer. Also, a sister; Dovie Holmes and husband Austin, sister-in-law; Dorothy Turner, brother-in-law; Thomas Marr and wife Jeanette and many numerous extended family and friends. Dave is survived by many family and friends who he loved dearly and who still love him.

Bettye Jackson

Bettye Jo Jackson, age 84, of Lockney, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Tuesday, December 9, 2014 in Lockney. Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 13, 2014 at the West College and Third St. Church of Christ in Lockney. Interment
will follow at the Lockney cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m., Friday, December 12, 2014 at Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Lockney. Arrangements are under the care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Lockney.
Bettye Jo was born August 16, 1930 in Lockney, Tx. She lived in Lockney most of her life and graduated from Lockney High School in 1947. Bettye graduated Lipperts Business College and began working at the City National Bank of Plainview in 1949. She met and married
Kenneth Jackson September 10, 1949. They later moved to Arizona in 1953 with their three daughters. After 5 years in the Arizona mines they moved back to Texas to work on the Tule Ranch for the Cogdell's. They then moved to Dallas where Bettye worked as the head teller for both Industrial National Bank and Grove State Bank. In 1972 they returned home to Lockney. Bettye worked for the 1st National Bank of Lockney where she later retired. She was on the library board and a senior volunteer at the nursing home in Lockney.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Doyle and Velma Harrison, her brother and sister in law, Leroy and Joneal Harrison, and a grandson, Jonas K. Rucks.
Bettye is survived by her husband Kenneth Jackson, three daughters; Trisha and husband Wylie Rucks, Marsha and husband Ken Vanover, Katy and husband Allen Samuel, 7 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson.
Everyone in Lockney remembers Bettye's joyous laughter and the loving sparkle in her eyes. She will be greatly missed. HAVE FUN MAW MAW!

Edna was born to Grady and Ozella (Low) Whitaker on January 9, 1941 in Plainview, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Grady and Ozella Whitaker, a sister and brother in law; Richard and Peggy Wiley, a brother; Harry Whitaker, and a nephew; Bobby Whitaker.
She is survived by her son; Tracy and wife Shandra Kidd of Lockney, a daughter; Stacy Brown of Houston, Meme had 3 grandchildren; Landry and Hannah Kidd of Lockney, Jacob Brown of Houston, 3 nephews, 1 niece and several great nephews and nieces.
June Ross Hale

June Ross Hale passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, June 25, 2015 in Floydada, Texas at the age of 75.
June was born on February 2, 1940 in Memphis, Texas to Sam and Mae Ross. She graduated from Flomot High School in 1958 and Wayland Baptist University with a degree in English and Religion. She married
James Hale on May 26, 1990. After graduation, June began working for Floyd County as an adult probation officer. She continued her probation work in Lubbock for many years and returned to the Floyd County Probation office until she became ill in April 2015. She was a member and officer of the Matador Chapter of Eastern Star #66. Her children remember her as a beautiful person inside and out who loved her children and grandchildren. She was an active and dedicated member of the Flomot First Baptist Church.
June Ross Hale is survived by her husband, James; children, Clinton Ware and wife Dara of Cedar Hill and Lisa Ware of Floydada, James' children: Debbie Wright, Joel Hale and James Hale II and their children. She is also survived by four grandsons; Cody Ware and wife Jesse of Logan, Kansas, Clay Ware of Cedar Hill, Zach and Leann Baldwin of Lubbock and Ross Baldwin of Floydada and 3 great-grandchildren; Ayana and Zelda Baldwin and Cullen Ware. She is also survived by one brother Jimmy and wife Velda of Quitaque, along with three nieces; Julie Ross, Janet Brooks and family, and Sammie Dee Varnell and family; and four nephews: Johnny Bill Ware, David Ware, Joe Ware and Ware Brown.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Sam and Mae Ross of Flomot.
Memorial Service is scheduled for Monday, July 6, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Flomot First Baptist Church with a reception to follow at the community center in Flomot. Mr. Nathan Mulder will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate June's life. Arrangements are under the care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Floydada.

Vivian Burleson Campbell, age 92, of Amarillo passed from this life on July 20, 2015 at UMC hospital in Lubbock. Arrangements are under Moore-Rose Funeral Home of Floydada. Graveside service will be held at the family plot, Silverton, Texas at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 29, 2015.
Vivian was born in Tulia to parents; Annie Jackson Burleson and Joe Edd Burleson on September 7, 1922. She was raised and attended school in Silverton. She attended Mary Hardin Baylor College at Belton and Draughn's Business College in Lubbock. She married
L.B. Campbell and lived in and around Matador twenty nine years. Vivian moved to Amarillo in 1971. She worked at Cloth World eight years and then for Diamond Shamrock until retiring in 1997. She was a member of Hillside Christian Church, a charter member of Amarillo Area Singles Dance Club, an avid golfer and enjoyed bridge and her many friends.
She is survived by a son; Bundy H. Campbell and wife Dixie, a daughter; Olivia and husband Kenny Barton all of Matador, 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Joe Max was born to Don and Ruth Harrison on August 16, 1941 in Floydada, Texas. He married
the love of his life Jaynette Marquis on August 18, 1957; the Lord blessed them with 57 years of marriage. Joe Max and Jaynette had two daughters Debbie and Tracy. The most important decision that Joe Max made was when he trusted in Jesus Christ as his personal Savior on April 11, 1965. He served in the Bible Baptist Church in Floydada, Texas from 1965 till 2007. There he was ordained as a deacon on August 19, 1981 he also served in the church as a Sunday school teacher and a church treasurer. In 2007 Joe Max moved his membership to the Calvary Baptist Church in Plainview, Texas, where he served in a variety of ministries: Sunday school teacher, deacon, mission director, and church treasurer. He had a true servant's heart and humble spirit that only could be given to him by God. He also lived and farmed in the Lakeview community from 1957 till 2007, after farming he worked for the Boll Weevil Eradication in Plainview, Texas.
He is survived by his wife Jaynette Harrison, daughter Debbie and her husband Greg Wilks of Lubbock, Texas, daughter Tracy Harrison of Bedford, Texas; grandchildren Logan, and Mason Wilks and Olivia and Spencer Harrison. A brother Jerry Bob and Jerry Harrison of Lubbock, brother-in-laws: Billy and Betty Marquis of Spur, Texas, Jimmy and Darlenda Marquis of Floydada, Texas, and many nieces and nephews.
Joe Max is preceded in death by his parents; Don and Ruth Harrison.

Henryetta Price, age 80, passed away, Tuesday, June 9, 2015. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the Resthaven cemetery in Quitaque. Arrangements are under the care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Quitaque.Henryetta "Hank" Finney Price, 80, of Plainview passed away surrounded by family on June 9, 2015.
Henryetta was born October 16th 1934 in Fredrick, Oklahoma to Henry and Ophelia Finney. She graduated from Quitaque High School and went on to earn a bachelor's degree with a business major and an educational minor. She did post graduate work at West Texas State University and North Texas State. She began her teaching career in Dalhart in 1954 and then moved to Amarillo where she was a secretary at Amarillo Air Base followed by secretary to an accounting firm.
She began working for Plainview ISD in 1967 as a substitute teacher and in 1970 she signed on as the office education pre-employment laboratory teacher which she taught for 23 years. Through the years many honors were awarded her including national recognition from both the Office Education Association and the Business Professionals of America as an outstanding contributor to office education. She was named to Who's Who in American High School Teachers and Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities. Henryetta also held memberships in almost a dozen professional organizations and was a charter member of the Association of Texas Professional Educators and the Plainview Civic Theatre.
Henryetta's favorite hobbies were being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, fishing, reading, picking and canning vegetables and wild plums and going to Caprock Canyon State Park. She was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Ophelia Finney and her brother R. J. Finney.
Survivors include her son Bobby Kaiser and wife Kayleen from Plainview, her daughter Rhonda Martin and husband Ray from Amarillo; two granddaughters Mindy Anderson and husband Adam from Las Vegas, New Mexico and Monica Martin from Amarillo, one grandson Chris Kaiser from Plainview; six great grandkids, Grayson, Cambree, Kashlee and Harper Anderson, Blakelee Brannon and Tayton Kaiser.
