Mitchell
Billy G. Mitchell, 76, of Liberty, died Friday, October 28, 2005, at the St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital in Houston.
Funeral services will be held at 2 Pm, Monday, October 31, 2005, at the Pentecostal Tabernacle on FM 2830 in Liberty with burial following at Cooke Memorial Cemetery in Liberty. Visitation will be held from 1 Pm and continue through Monday, at the church on Sunday. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
Billy was born May 7, 1929 in Orange to parents; Ivey W. Mitchell and Nettie E. Hemmingway, and has resided in the Liberty area for the past 50 years. He was a veteran of the US Army with service during WW II, a retired oil field supervisor, member of the Pentecostal Tabernacle, and enjoyed fishing, playing golf, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Mr. Mitchell was preceded in death by his parents, grandson: Robert L. Powell, one brother, one sister, and his step-father: Loston LaBove. He is survived by his wife of 50 years: Cordelia Fregia Mitchell of Liberty, son: Troy E. Mitchell of Mt. Belvieu, daughters: Joyce E. Powell and husband Terry of Liberty, Billie Jo Fregia and husband Vernon of Hull, Wanda Fae Whiddon and husband Jimmy of Dayton, and Becky J. Fregia and husband Joe of Liberty, sister: Lois Marks of Orange, brothers: Freddie L. Mitchell of Crosby and Carl Wolford of Beaumont, grandchildren: Troy, Jr., Justin, Cody, Brichelle, Kim, Terry, Jr., William, Tammie, Veronica, Casey, Vernon, Jr., DeLinda, Nicholas, Kelby, Joshua, and Miranda, great-grandchildren: Kameron, Kara, Kaitlin, Harvey, Kandace, Michael, Elizabeth, Brittany, Samantha, Justin, Zoe, Mitchell, Kayleigh, Kelton, Robert, Jr., and Gavin, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
ESTEP
Casey Lee Simpson Estep, 27, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away October 29, 2005. He was born in Texas City, Texas to Dickie Lee and Wanda Jean Estep on September 22, 1976.
He is survived by his mother, Wanda Hefferman and husband, John; father, Dickie Lee Estep; grandmother, Anita Hefferman; son, Shade Timothy Regal Ado; fiancé, Michelle Stewart and her children, Britney and Johnathan and their favorite aunt, Brenda Golden, all from Scottsboro, Alabama; brother, Micah J. Estep and wife, Lynda; sister, Kally Flowers and Brian; nieces and nephews, Keelee, Dabriella, Darrin, Kennedy, Faye; numerous loving aunts, uncles and other family members and many caring friends.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, 11/2/2005, 2:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens, Cleveland, Texas. Visitation will be Tuesday, 11/1/2005, 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas.

James E. ‘Jim’ Priest, 71, of Dayton died Monday, October 31, 2005, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2 Pm, Friday, November 4, 2005, at the Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Crosby with burial following at Magnolia Park Cemetery in Dayton. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
Jim was born October 4, 1934 in Jackson, TN to parents; Charles E. Priest and Floy M. Joyner, a former resident of LaPorte and has resided in the Dayton area for the past 32 years. He was a graduate of the Walnut Mississippi High School class of 1953, veteran of the US Army with service during the Korean War, retired database administrator from M.D. Anderson Hospital after ten years of employment, member and former treasurer and youth group leader of the Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Crosby, member of the American Legion, and he also enjoyed woodworking, electronics, and computers.
Mr. Priest was preceded in death by his parents: Charles E. Priest and Floy M. Joyner Jones, and a sister: Patricia Wamble. He is survived by his wife of 45 years: Shirley E. Stoll Priest of Dayton, sons: Kurt Priest and wife Sherri of Ft. Knox, KY and Jon Priest of Houston, granddaughters: Amanda A. Priest of Richmond, Julie A. Priest of Ft. Knox, KY, and Cynthia E. Priest of Ft. Knox, KY, and numerous other relatives and friends.

Laura Alison Carrington, 25, of Hardin, died Wednesday, November 2, 2005, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 3 Pm, Saturday, November 5, 2005, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton with burial following at a later date at the Hardin Chapel Cemetery in Hardin. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
Alison was born April 14, 1980 in Beaumont to parents; John E. Carrington and Randa McCraw, and has resided in the Hardin area throughout her life. She was a graduate of the Liberty High School, had attended the Kingwood Junior College, and enjoyed shopping, drawing, painting, writing poetry, playing cards, and animals.
Miss Carrington was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandmother: Lettie Rhyne, paternal grandfather: Wylie E. Carrington, and maternal grandfather: Cameron Jerry McCraw. She is survived by her mother: Randa McCraw Gobble of Hardin, father: John E. Carrington and wife Nanette of IL, sisters: Andrea S. Davis and husband Bobby of Liberty and Ashley Bruce and husband Jonathan of Richmond, maternal grandmother: Ellen Savoy and husband John of Hardin, paternal grandmother: Lillie Carrington of Beaumont, fiancé: Kenny Vance of Moss Hill, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

William L. Brock, 71, of Liberty, died Monday, November 7, 2005, at the Liberty-Dayton Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 10 Am, Thursday, November 10, 2005, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at the Hillside Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 P to 9 P, Wednesday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
William was born January 30, 1934 in Leoti, KS, to parents; John and Mable Atkins Brock, a former resident of Cleveland and has resided in the Liberty area for the past 35 years. He was a retired swamper for IMCO of Liberty after 15 years of employment, member and former custodian of the Bible Way Pentecostal Church, and enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and church activities.
Mr. Brock was preceded in death by is parents, wife of 40 years: Bertie M. Jackson Brock, and brother: Williard Brock. He is survived by his son: Jeff Handley and wife Joyce of Liberty, grandson: Curtis Dowdell of Shiro, great-grandson: Dyllon Dowdell of Liberty, brothers: Walter Brock and wife Ruth of Petrolia, Wallace Brock and wife Deanna of Porter, and Wayne Brock of Seven Oaks, sisters: Wanda Brock of Seven Oaks, and Wilma Swanson and husband Joe of Livingston, sister-in-law: Shirley Brock of Seven Oaks, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Niederhofer
Vicky Renee Niederhofer, of New Waverly, San Jacinto County, Texas, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2005 at the age of 50. She was born in Cairo, Illinois to Buford Wayne and Evelyn Bell Warren on November 8, 1955 both of whom preceded her in death.
She is survived by her loving husband, Dewey Niederhofer; son, Matthew Niederhofer and wife, Amber; daughter, Jennifer Yeskie; step-daughters, Wendy Karnach, Chlee Tibbitts and husband, Bo; brother, Brad Warren; grandchildren, Dylan, Marshall, Jacob, Lainey, Tyler, Blaine, Camron; mother-in-law, Evelyn Niederhofer; brother-in-law, Jerry Niederhofer and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members and caring friends.
Visitation will be held Saturday, November 12, 2005, 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. and all day Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Coldspring Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, 14250 Highway 150 West, Coldspring, Texas. Moody Lee “Mr. Moody” Fredenburg, Sr. 87, of Liberty, died Friday, November 11, 2005, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2 Pm, Tuesday, November 15, 2005, at the Liberty Church of Christ with burial following at Cooke Memorial Cemetery in Liberty. Visitation will be held from 5 Pm to 9 Pm, Monday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
Moody was born December 25, 1917 in Detroit, TX, to parents; John F. and Francis O. Smith Fredenburg, and has resided in the Liberty area for the past 37 years. He was a veteran of the US Army with service during WW II, a retired crane operator for Upjohn Construction of Houston, owner/operator of M & N Concessions, member of the Liberty Church of Christ, and enjoyed sports, fishing, hunting, and raising cattle.
Mr. Fredenburg was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Jack, Benny, and Oliver Fredenburg, and sisters: Elsie Day and Stella ‘Aunt Bill’ Dennis. He is survived by his wife of 64 years: Naomi Hughes Fredenburg of Liberty, sons: Moody Lee Fredenburg, Jr. and wife Marsha of LaMarque and Pete Fredenburg and wife Karen of Belton, daughters: Debbie Hanagriff and husband Walter of Crystal Beach and Pam Dowell of Liberty, 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
