Key, Milford
Milford Key, 91, of Dayton passed away Saturday, Nov. 12, 2005 in Crosby after an extended illness. He was born in Cordova, Alabama on May 23, 2005. He was a retired carpenter. He was a member of the Masonic lodge, American Legion, and the Carpenter and Millwright Union.
Graveside services are 10:00 a.m., Monday, Nov. 14, at Magnolia Park Cemetery with Rev. Tommy King officiating. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Dayton, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his wife Hazel Key. He is survived by his son: Dana Key and wife Donna of Dayton; daughter: Diane Linkenhoker and husband George of Calvert
He has 5 grand-children: Liz, Dana, John, Gillian, and Heather; 15 great-grandchildren: Jacob, Justin, Haley, Ryan, Ashley, Holly, Cody, Gavin, Madison, Simon, Amory, Finnian, Megan, Shianne and Saige; and one great-great-grandchild, Skylar.
The family will receive friends 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Nov. 13, Sunday evening at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Dayton, Texas.
Key, Michael
Michael Arthur Key, 53, of Hardin, died Saturday, November 12, 2005 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. He was born November 5, 1952 in Houston, Texas to parents Audrey Bartlett and Bettie Goodeson Key. He was a lifelong resident of the Hardin area where he attended Hardin High School. He was employed by the Liberty County Drainage District, was a diesel mechanic for many years, and a member of the Methodist Church.
Service for Mr. Key will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 14, 2005 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gideon Watson officiating. Burial will follow at Hardin Chapel Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his father Audrey Key and his brother Steve Key.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Virginia “Sissy” Key of Liberty; mother: Bettie Key of Hardin; sons: Justin Key and wife Reagan of Hardin, Charles Key and wife Crystal of Crosby, and Raymond Hickman and wife Melissa of Hull; daughter: Dedra Brewer and husband Robie of Hardin; five grandchildren: Koty, and Kami Ainsworth; Karah, Hayley, and Garrett Hickman; brother: Thomas Key and wife Kim of Hardin; sister: Charlotte Warner and husband Tom of Hardin.
The family will receive friends 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday evening at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Dayton.
Anderson
Helen Louise Anderson, 63, of Liberty died Saturday, December 12, 2005 at home. She was born January 2, 1942 in Liberty, Texas to parents Albert Earl Budro, Sr. and Marie Smalley Budro. She was a life long resident of Liberty and enjoyed working puzzles, watching movies, playing video games and working cross-words.
Service for Mrs. Anderson will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 16, 2005 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Dayton. Interment will follow at Palms Memorial Park in Dayton.
She is preceded in death by her husband Raymond Wiper, two sisters and one brother. She is survived by son: Henry E. “Bubba” Campbell of Canyon Lake; daughter: Patricia Ann Whitney and husband Tommy of Liberty; sisters: Macie Fregia and husband Vernon of Splendora, Reba Rhoden of Hull, Mary McGee of Orange, Barbara Scott of Port Neches; brothers: Calvin Budro of Baytown, Robert Budro of Trinity, David Budro of Grangerland, Albert Budro, Jr. of Grangerland and Troy Budro of Livingston; six grandchildren: Jonathan Vincent Campbell, Amber Nicole Campbell, Lisa Gillim, Rosalee Whitney, Renee McTige, and Mary Ann Slaven; also three great-grandchildren: Rebecca Gillim, Madison Rauen, and Harley McTige.

Ham
Lou Emma Ham, age 95 of Shepherd, Texas, passed away Friday, November 13, 2005. She was born in Lone Pine, Texas to G.L. Hutchison and Dolly Phillips on February 22, 1910.
She is survived by her children, Joe Ham and wife, Jackie; Daphne Ketler; sisters, Hazel Simmons, Wanda Theis; twenty grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, seven great great-grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.
Family and friends gathered for funeral services held, Wednesday, November 16, 2005, 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Coldspring, Texas. Dr. Don Shannon conducted the service with interment at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Coldspring, Texas.
Dillard
John Howard Dillard of Coldspring, Texas, passed away Monday, November 14, 2005 at the age of 81. He was born in Lubbock, Texas to John Howard and Sadie Dillard, Sr. on July 14, 1924. He was a Navy veteran of WWII.
He is servived by his sons, Alan Dillard and wife, Betty, Howard Dillard and wife, Donna; grandchildren, Alesha Hummel and husband, Chris, Chris Wirzberg and husband Terry, Glen Dillard, Jennifer Proffit, Sean Dillard; great-grandchildren, Logan Hummel, Kameron Wirzberg, Jessica Wirzberg, Jackalynn Wirzberg, Robin Dillard, Asley Proffit, Lawrence Proffit, Shilo Dillard, Gavin Dillard and many other loving family members and caring friends.
Gridley
Albert William Gridley, 64 of Dayton, died Tuesday, November 15, 2005 at home after an extended illness. He was born July 18, 1941 in Haley, Idaho to parents Leland and Mary Henshaw Gridley. He was a member of the Excelsior class of 1960 in Norwalk, California and served in the U.S. Navy. He married Roberta Nichols, October 23, 1958, was a member of the Liberty Church of Christ and was retired from GDS Engineering in Baytown. Mr. Gridley enjoyed fishing, hunting, and motorcycles.
Services for Mr. Gridley will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 17, 2005 at The Liberty Church of Christ. Interment will follow at Hardin Chapel Cemetery in Hardin, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Mr. Gridley is survived by his wife: Roberta Gridley of Dayton; sons: Albert Gridley, Jr. and wife Phylis of Dayton, Jacob Gridley and wife Crystal of Pasadena, Benjamin Gridley of New Caney; daughters: Lisa Perryman and husband Bobby of Dayton, Laurie Kirsch and husband Rudy of Dayton; grandchildren: Devin Gridley, Darlene Dodd, Jessica Dodd, Nicole Dodd, Laurie Kirsch, Jennifer Kirsch, Coy Kirsch, Taylor Muncey, Savanah Kirsch, Jermiah Kirsch, Stormie Gridley, Dakota Gridley, Austin Gridley; great-grandson: Alex Riojas; sisters: Judy Calahan of California, Linda Welt of Arizona, and Vicki Yellam of California; brother-in-laws: Ed and Duane Nichols of Oklahoma.

Collins
Darwin Albert Collins, 67, of Splendora, Texas, passed away at Hermann Memorial Hospital, Wednesday, November 16, 2005. He was born in Security, Texas to Richard Albert and Bertie Marie Collins on May 14, 1938 both of whom preceded him in death along with his brother, Marvin A. Collins.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Bullard; children, Karen Swinney and Joe, Jackie Villarreal and Rex, Jane Claflin and Marvin, Jeanette Lowe and Buddy, Richard Collins and Amber, Bill C. Carnline, Jr. and Carolyn, Roxanne Grein and Craig, Regan Bullard; sisters, Wanna L. Thornton, Alba J. Coleman; sister-in-law, Elouise Collins; countless grandchildren and other loving family members and caring friends.
Funeral services were held Sunday, November 20, 2005, 2:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with interment at Morgan Cemetery.
