Amy E. Yundt Kelly, 40, of Dayton, died Thursday, October 4, 2007, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 8, 2007, at the Crosby Church with burial following at the Palms Memorial Park Cemetery in Dayton. Visitation will beheld from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
Amy was born June 17, 1967 in Mexico City DS, to parents; Charles and Betty Roozee Yundt, a former resident of Houston, and has resided in the Dayton area for the past seven years. She attended the University of St. Edwards, the University of Texas at Austin, and received her Bachelors degree from the University of Houston, was an accountant for Peoples Trust Credit Union, Shell Credit Union, and Prime Way Credit Union, member of the Crosby Church, and enjoyed camping, travel, and shopping.
Mrs. Kelly was preceded in death by her father: Charles Yundt. She is survived by her husband of six years: Joseph “Joe” Kelly of Dayton, daughters: Amber Kelly of Dayton and Candace Williams and husband Tim of Dayton, son: Joseph Kelly, Jr. of Dayton, mother: Betty Roozee Yundt of McAllen, brothers: John Yundt of Dallas and Eric Yundt of Costa Rica, nieces and nephews: Paul, Jr., Zach, George, Jr., Noah, Arturo, Carlo, Stephanie, Wendi, Kasey, Shanna, and Ixchel, and numerous other relatives, and friends.
Johnson
Travis Allan Johnson passed away on Friday, October 5, 2007 after a long illness with cancer. Travis was a lifetime resident of Cleveland; born in Houston, Texas 17 years ago on September 18, 1990. Travis was a fun loving child that grew up to be a very respectable young man. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed eating the game that he bagged too. Baseball was a sport that was trilling to him. He loved playing ball and going to the games. He adored his animals, that you could clearly see.
Travis has so many Ribbons and Trophies they can’t all be displayed. Most of all though . . . he loved his family and friends.
Waiting to meet him on the other side are his brother, Joshua Johnson; great-grandmother, Florence Pevehouse; grandmother, Priscilla Keeton; grandfather, Raymond Johnson. Survivors include his parents, Johnny and Deborah Johnson; grandparents, Richard Becker and wife, Mary, JoAnn Anderson; his inspirational friend, Courtney Huckabay and David Lee Sheffield along with numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and many other loving and caring family members and cherished friends beyond measure.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 9, 2007, 2:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Church, Cleveland, Texas 77328. His final resting place is at Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens.
Herndon
Donald R. “Don” Herndon, 73, of High Island, passed away Saturday, October 6, 2007 in Galveston after an extended illness. He was born March 27, 1934 in Liberty, Texas to parents, Willie J. and Ouida Havard Herndon. He attended Liberty High School, served in the United States Navy during the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion Post #0020 in Galveston. He was owner/operator of Don’s Glass Service in Liberty for over 25 years, enjoyed the beach, fishing and had a great passion for music, especially bluegrass, country, and gospel.
Service for Mr. Herndon will be 2:30 p.m., Thursday, October 11, 2007 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Dayton with interment to follow at Ryan Cemetery in Tarkington. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., both Tuesday and Wednesday at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his great-grandson: Sven Herndon and is survived by his daughter: Patricia L. Herndon of Houston; his sons: Donald L. Herndon and wife Pat of Freeport, and Alvin R. Herndon of Dayton; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; his brothers: Kenneth Herndon and wife Meredith of Kenner, Louisiana and Truman Herndon and wife Sue of Dayton; also numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Woolery, Katie Ann, age 47, of McAlester, Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2007. She was born in Comanche, Oklahoma on February, 29, 1960. She is preceded in death by Tina Ann Mize, Granny Eloise Babin and Papa Buck Babin. Survivors include her loving husband, Roger Woolery; mother, Sharon Mercer; daughter, Linda “Sissy” Bratton; sons, Steven Ray Mize and wife, Pam, Travis Lee Mize and wife, Amber; grandchildren, Kyra Mize, Jordon Mize and Hailey Ann Mize; other survivors, Dustin Dixon Mize, Brittney Valderez, Justin Valderez, A.J. Valderez, numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and other loving and caring family members and caring friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 11, 2007, 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 12, 2007, 10:00 a.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with interment at Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens.
Wallace
Karl Edward Wallace, Jr., 85, of Oakhurst, Texas, passed away, Thursday, October 11, 2007. He was born in Bangs, Texas on March 14, 1922. Arrangements were made through Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas.
McAnally
Evelyn McAnally passed away Monday, October 8, 2007 at Helping Hands Personal Care Home. She was born 94 years ago on Tarkington Prairie, Texas on September 25, 1913 to Joseph Benjamin and Laura Agnes Simmons who precede her in death along with her husband, Marshall McAnally.
Survivors include one daughter, Laura Ann Kopetsky and husband, Gene; one son, Joseph Weldon McAnally and wife, Janet; grandchildren, Kevin McAnally and wife, Angela and Curtis McAnally and wife, Janet; great-grandchildren, Shaina, Nylah, and Ana; and her friend and caregiver, Mary Murray.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 9, 2007, 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Dr. Byron Reeves will conduct funeral services Wednesday, October 10, 2007, 10:00 a.m. at Pace-Stancil Chapel with interment following at Ryan Cemetery.

Earline Morgan Callahan, age 55, of Shepherd, Texas, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2007. She was born May 21, 1952 to Grady and Jeanne Morgan who precede her in death along with her loving husband, Russell J. Callahan; brothers, Bill William Morgan, Henry “Tiny” Morgan; and her twin brother Earl Morgan.
Survivors include her sons, Anthony Callahan and wife, Suzanne, Scott Callahan; daughter, Tammy Richey and husband, Pug, Tracy Broussard; sisters, Norma Luquette, Gloria Creamer; brothers, Herman Morgan, Raymond Morgan, Willie Morgan; six grandkids, many nieces, nephews and other loving family members and caring friends.

Dominy
Troy passed away after a long illness on Wednesday, October 10, 2007. He is survived by his mother, Patsy Dominy, his brother and two sisters. Troy was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. Paul Edward Mayo, age 70, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2007. He was born in Zavalla, Texas on December 19, 1936 to Ruben and Cletta Mayo who preceded him in death along with his brothers, Frank Lowe and Amos Mayo; sister, Mary Stanley; sister-in-law, Ella Mayo.
Paul Mayo was a Brick Mason, well known and respected throughout the community.
Survivors include his loving wife, Betty Jean Mayo; sons, Milson and wife, Vickie, Greg Wilson, and Jeff Wilson; sister, Susie Smith; brothers, Aaron Mayo and wife, Velma, Willie Mayo, Raymond Mayo and wife, Joyce; three grandchildren, Preston Wilson, Terrin Wilson, Sarah Wilson; numerous nieces, nephews, and many other loving and caring family members and cherished friends.
