Donna Hancock, 72, of Jasper passed away on January 2, 2020 in Jasper. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, January 6, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Baptist Church with interment to follow at Little Hope Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Sunday afternoon from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Shultz Funeral Home in Jasper.
Donna was born to Margie Ruth Wilson Hancock and Doyle Dean Hancock in the Beech Grove community, a few miles west of Jasper, Texas. She was raised in the old Wilson family house by her parents, great aunts Minnie Wilson, Missouri Wilson and great uncle Leon Wilson. She grew up with her older brother Lee Everette and younger sister Mae Ella enjoying the benefits of a rural upbringing with the security of a sizeable extended family. Donna attended Beech Grove Elementary School and Jasper High School. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, knitting, and her soap operas "The Bold and the Beautiful" and "The Young & the Restless". Donna worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone in Beaumont and Silsbee for 25 years. After retirement, she relocated back to Jasper and enjoyed many years with her son Wynn, sister Mae Ella, her relatives and many childhood friends. She especially became close with her grandchildren Hannah, Noah and Josh. Donna was known for her generosity, her selflessness and the genuine nature she always exuded. Her wit, her laugh and her passion for life were always present. Donna was especially blessed to have a lifelong sibling bond with Mae and Lee. Her son Wynn, wife Ashley and granddaughter Hannah provided great comfort to her through her last years.
She is survived by her son Wynn Martindale & wife Ashley of Jasper; brother Lee Everette & wife Susan of Houston; sister Mae Swearingen & husband Marvin of Jasper and three grandchildren Hannah, Noah & Josh. She was preceded in death by her sons Will Martindale and infant son Warren Clint Martindale. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be mad to Hillcrest Baptist Church, 3196 US Hwy 190, Jasper, Texas 75951 or to the American Cancer Society, 1640 N Major Dr. Suite 101, Beaumont, TX 77701.

Ronnie Sandrock, 72, of Brookeland passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2019 in Jasper. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, December 22, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Shultz Funeral Home in Jasper with a private interment in Kirbyville Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Sunday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
Ronnie was born on May 1, 1947 in Germany and grew up and attended school there, he moved to the United States as a teenager and was a resident of Brookeland for over 30 years. He worked and retired as a Conductor for Southern Pacific Railroad. He loved hunting, fishing, Harley Davidson motorcycles, fast boats and classic rock and roll. He is survived by his wife of twenty-nine years Sherrie Sandrock of Brookeland; sons Allen (Tra) Y'Barbo & wife Sheila of Jasper, Shon Y'Barbo & wife Paige of Pensacola, Florida; and grandchildren Keleigh Dunman & husband Dalton of Jasper and Brayton Y'Barbo of Jasper.

Sue McLeod, 77, of Jasper passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2019 in Beaumont, Texas. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, December 27, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church with interment to follow at West Oaks Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Thursday, December 26, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Shultz Funeral Home in Jasper.
A native of Tyler County, Sue was born on October 23, 2019 to William & Bitha Lewis. Sue loved yellow roses, bingo, slot machines and her family. She is survived by her husband Max McLeod of Jasper; son Jerry Owens & wife Mary Lou of Jasper; daughter Penny Walker & husband Marcus of Jasper; brothers Edgar Lewis & John Lewis of Jasper and sisters Treba Bonner of Brazoria, Texas and Jesse Bohler of Hearne, Texas; grandchildren Josh , Jessica, Misty & Jerry Jr.; and great-grandchildren JuJu, Alistair, Ethan, Elizabeth, William, Zoey, Karsyn, Kylynn, Dakota & Audrie.

J.D. was born on December 03, 1919 to William Hance Morgan and Lucy Dove Smith in Jasper. He was an owner / operator of Morgan's Hardware & Grocery from 1960 - 1980's. Preceded in death by his parents William & Lucy Morgan; wife Lavina Juanita Miller Morgan; brothers Robert Lee Morgan and Clyde Morgan; as well as daughter in law Wanda Jean Morgan. Survivors include his son Joe Morgan of Kirbyville, TX; grandson David Morgan & wife Amanda of Kirbyville, TX; as well as great-grandson Ayden of Kirbyville, TX.

William "Bill" Lawrence Jr., 52, native of Bridgeport, CT, resident of Jasper since 1990 coming from Stratford, CT passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at St. Luke's Hospital in Houston, TX . A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 11:00 AM at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Jasper . Interment to follow at West Oaks Cemetery. Reception to follow interment at St. Michael's Parish Hall. The family will greet friends on Friday, January 24, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Shultz Funeral Home in Jasper with a Rosary service to follow at 8:00 PM.
Bill was born on July 10, 1967 to William Richard Lawrence Sr. and Regina Marie Santini Lawrence . He spent his life as a Truck Driver, he had a passion for Peterbilt trucks. On February 15, 1992 he married the love of his life Dallas Eldon Whaley Calhoun. A member of Angelina River Volunteer Fire Department for over 20 years, his time in the department he served as a Fire Fighter, Fire Chief and Assistant Chief. Bill loved serving his community, playing his guitar, cooking, and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife of 27 years Dallas Lawrence of Jasper, TX; his parents William & Regina Lawrence Sr. of Jasper, TX; three sons Casey Holden Lawrence, William Richard Lawrence III "Billy" and Jason Michael Calhoun all of Jasper, TX; a sister Christina Ann Smith & husband Dustin Michael of Quanah, TX; a niece Catherine Smith of Quanah, TX; nephew Vance Smith of Quanah, TX; grandson Brett Michael Calhoun Primrose of Jasper, TX; as well as a host of family and friends.

John Jorgensen, 67, resident of Jasper since 2008, coming from Kansas passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at MD Anderson in Houston. Private services were held.
John was born on December 31, 1952 in Port Arthur, TX to Morris John Jorgensen Jr. and Sybil Marie Ralph. He spent his life as a Nurse since 1976. Since 2016 he served as a Texas State Guard. A Master Mason at the Masonic Lodge # 151 where he obtained rank as Scottish Duke and York, Royal Order of Scotland, International Board of DeMolay as well as Sons of the Republic. On July 04, 2004 he married Patricia Milam in Kansas City, KS. Survivors include his wife Patricia "Pat" Jorgensen of Jasper, TX; daughters Michelle Glenn of Jasper, TX and Rachel Asbury of Kansas; grandchildren Destynee Glenn, Andras Jonathan Glenn and Chloe Asbury; as well as great-grandchildren Aurora Skie and Andrarius Sage.

Irene was born on March 31, 1925 in Sweetwater, TX to Roy Finley and Birdie Lee Glasco. Survivors include her daughters Roberta Lorene Duckworth of Jasper, TX and Ann DeLeon of Cleveland, TX; as well as a grandson Christopher Brewer of California.
