Lewis was a native of Jasper and a resident of Dallas for a number of years.

The funeral service for Charles Ray Bendy, 51, of Kirbyville, will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Kirbyville, with burial in West Greenlawn Cemetery under direction of Coleman’s Mortuary. Visitation will be Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Coleman’s Chapel in Kirbyville.
Bendy died earlier this week of an illness.

AUBREY HARRISON
Funeral services for Aubrey Harrison, 78, of Jasper, will be at 10 a.m. Aug. 22, at Tanglewood Baptist Church with interment services to follow at the Little Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday afternoon from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Mr. Harrison died at Dickerson Memorial Hospital Monday morning. A native of Remlig he lived in Jasper all of his life. He served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army as a member of the 6’th Armored Division. He worked at the Owens-Illinois Plant until retiring in 1984 as a Shop Foreman for the Heavy Equipment Department.
Survivors include his wife, Ila Nell Harrison of Jasper; sons Mark Harrison of Jasper, and Don
Harrison of Houston; a sister Ella Mae “Cricket” Baldwin of Mt. Union, and a grandson Jody Marcus Harrison of Houston.
Services are under direction of Forest Oaks Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Warren James Woods, 78, of Jasper, will be 1 p.m. on Aug. 23 at Mount Olive Baptist Church with burial to follow at Springhill Cemetery in Magnolia Springs. Visitation will begin Aug. 22 at 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Robinson Community Funeral Home.
Mr. Woods died Aug. 16 at the Triumph Hospital in Houston. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Survivors include his wife, Fredna L. Woods of Jasper; a son, James E. Woods of Lufkin; 2 step-sons, Todd Hunt of Jasper, and Byron Hunt of Austin; 2 daughters, Annie Laura Johnson of Lufkin, and Shirley Foster of Round Rock; 3 step-daughters, Felicia Dungey of Austin, Althea Adams of Austin, and Marcia Dancer of Houston; 3 sisters, Ruby Good of Jasper, Charlene Glenn of Jasper, and Lucille Cooper of Beaumont, a brother, Hamilton Woods of Oakland Ca., 15 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
Services are under the direction of Robinson’s Community Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lollar died Oct. 14 at Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. She was a native of Lockesburg, Ark., and former resident of Rayburn County. Survivors include her daughter Mary Sue Tiffin and husband Doug of San Jose, Calif., two grandchildren, Jeremy Tiffin of Waco and Bethany Tiffin of San Jose, Calif.

Funeral services for Eva Lucille “Lucy” Fussell, 62, of Jasper, will be 2 p.m. Oct. 26 at Stringer and Griffin Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will begin 5 p.m. Oct. 28 at the Funeral Home.
Mrs. Fussell died Oct. 24 at her residence in Jasper. She was a native of Wanilla, Miss. and a former resident of Golden Acres as well as a longtime resident of Jasper. She worked as manager for Joc Stop #9 for over 14 years.
Survivors include her three sons, Kenneth Wayne Fussell of Newton, Charles Ray Fussell of Jasper, and Joshep Craig Fussell of Kirbyville; two stepsons, Lynn Fussell and Curtis Fussell both of Kirbyville; 6 brothers, Joseph Smith, Jr. of Anacoca, La., Robert Smith of Jasper, Jimmy Smith of Pasadena, Ray Smith of Mt. Pleasant, Dale Smith of Baytown, and Joe Troy Smith of Saratoga; 5 sisters, Mildred Crain of Kountze, Evelyn Randall of Sargent, Annie Reed of Sargent, Christine Brown of Saratoga, and Darlene Torak of Pasadena, and 5 grandchildren.

EDWIN OSBORN
Graveside services for Edwin Osborn, 82 of Zavalla, will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 5th at Weeks Chapel Cemetery in Newton County. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Thursday, April 4th at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper.
Mr. Osborn died at his residence in Zavalla, Texas Wednesday, April 3rd. A native of Green City, Missouri, and former resident of Lumberton, he had lived in Zavalla for the past 16 years. He retired as a Heavy Equipment Operator Local 450. He was a WWII U.S.Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife Lucille Osborn of Zavalla, son Gary Osborn and wife Teri of Harrisburg, sister Kathrin Frazer of Des Moines, Iowa, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Hospice in the Pines, 116 South Raqutes St., Lufkin, Texas 75904.
