Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 23, 2010 in Spanish Fork, Utah, at the Spanish Fork Cemetery with interment to follow. A native of Spanish Fork, Utah, she moved to Jasper from Salt Lake City, UT, in 2005. Formerly, a Manager for the Wendy's and Burger King Franchise. Survivors include her mother, Marilyn and step-father, James Barnes of Sam Rayburn, TX, sons, Garrett Barton of Sam Rayburn, TX, and Skylar Barton of Spanish Fork, UT. Wilton Ben Inman Sr., 88, of Jasper, died at Timberlake Health and Rehab in Jasper on Saturday evening, September 11, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at the First Baptist Church in Jasper, with interment to follow at the Evergreen Cemetery. Family will greet public at Forest Oaks Funeral Home Monday, September 13 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Born in Bon Wier, TX, to Thomas Hawley Inman and Mozie Bell Hughes Inman who were early pioneers of Newton County. He moved to Jasper from Lufkin, TX, in 1952. He was employed with the A.S.C.S. until retirement from the U.S.D.A. as it is currently known today. Wilton was known as a farmer, rancher, developer, and politician, he resided in Inman Addition, which he developed. A member of the First Baptist Church, Lions Club, and a fifty-one year member of the Dewitt Clinton Lodge #29 in Jasper. He served his country as a member of the U. S. Army during WWII, and later became part of an airborne machine gun unit that was part of the military campaigns in North Africa and the Middle East. Wilton was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Bill Inman, and Curtis Inman, sisters, Alma Wray, Merrill Gilchrist, Ethel Jones and Lena Hughes. Survivors include his wife, Maurine Hill Inman of Jasper, TX, Sons, W. Ben Jr. and wife, Anna Carol Inman of Jasper, TX, Dennis Kent and wife Becky Inman of Jasper, TX; Daughters, Linda I. and husband, Ted Guillory, Marsha I. and husband, Ken Nabors both of Jasper, TX; Brothers, Ike Inman and D.C. Inman both of Bon Wier, TX. Special Friends, Keith Dalton and Scott Reed, both of Jasper, TX. Grandchildren, Tracey, Jamie, Christena, April, and Patrick; great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Patrick, Dixie, Faith, and Hannah. Rebecca Flowers Primrose, 58, of Jasper, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2010 at M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas. Funeral services will be held at Forest Oaks Funeral Home Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at the Ebenezer Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home Tuesday, September 21, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. A native of Houston, TX, she had lived in Louisiana and Dayton, Ohio, while working, but moved to Jasper in 1979, when she built her home in the Ebenezer Community. Rebecca was employed as the Recording Secretary for the Pipeline Local 350 and worked for Laney Inc. in Humble, TX, from 1995 until September 19, 2010. She was preceded in death by her father, Vernon Flowers; Brother, Kenneth Flowers; Nephew, B. J. Flowers. A native of Galveston, TX, he moved to Livingston from Jasper in 1988 and was employed with Local 450 as a Heavy Equipment Operator on Pipeline Construction. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. Dorothy was a member of the Tanglewood Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a husband, Leonard P. Gibbs, son, Donnie Wells, sister, Ladon Coffee and a brother, Mike Taylor.
