Glaser
CAMERON – Ernest O. Glaser, 86, of Cameron died Thursday, March 22, 2007 in an Austin hospital. Graveside funeral services were held 2 p.m. Sunday, March 24 at Oak Hill Cemetery with Gene VanNoord and O.E. Davidson officiating.
Mr. Glaser, a retired house painter, was born Jan. 30, 1921 in the Bryant Station community of Milam County to August and Minnie Glaser. He married Oma Dismukes in 1973. Mr. Glaser was an United States Army veteran of World War II, the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Disabled Veterans. Mr. Glaser was a member of the Cameron Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Oma Glaser of Cameron; son, Mark Glaser and wife Kathy of Cameron; two daughters, Reta Carol Cohee and husband Bill of Kempner and Vanessa Roach and husband Buddy of Spring; brother, Marvin Glaser and wife Nolie of San Antonio; two sisters, Aline Tepera of Cameron and Mildred Childress of Oklahoma City, OK; seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren, Christi Strobo and Robert Strobo; four great-grandchildren.

Cunningham
CAMERON – David B. Cunningham, 60, of Cameron died Friday, March 23, 2007 in a Temple hospital. Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Monday, March 26 at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne Kirk officiating. Graveside service was held 1 p.m. Monday at Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple.
Mr. Cunningham was born June 14, 1946 in Brownwood to David Earl and Shirley Nell (Pudig) Cunningham. He was an United States Navy veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. He married Jill Westerman in 1970. He retired from TXU. Mr. Cunningham was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Rockdale Gun Club. A granddaughter, Shelby Krenek and a brother, Mike Cunningham preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Jill Cunningham of Cameron; two daughters, Carol Emerson of Temple and Martha Rhoads of Portland; three grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Arthritis Foundation or the Diabetes Foundation.
Rucker
HEARNE – Jayden Rucker, infant, died March 21, 2007. Funeral services were held Saturday, March 24, 2007. Burial followed in the Cooke-Walton Cemetery in Pflugerville.
She was born Sept. 26, 2006.
Marsh
William H. “Bill” Marsh, 68, died Saturday afternoon, June 2, 2007 at his home near Rockdale. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 9 at First Baptist Church in Milano with Rev. Joe Stancil officiating.
Mr. Marsh was born June 29, 1938 in Elmira, New York to Claude E. and Alice J. (Crane) Marsh.
He was a home builder and draftsman for 40 years. He married Connie Lee Spencer on April 7, 1961 in Canton, Pennsylvania.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Milano and was a resident of Rockdale for the past 25 years.
Mr. Marsh was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Connie Marsh of Rockdale; three sons, Jeff Marsh of Rockdale, Timothy Marsh of Rockdale and Billy Marsh and wife Donna of Milano; brother, Claude Marsh and wife Jean of Eden, North Carolina; two sisters, Nola Heal and husband Charles of Citrus, Florida and Linda Peet of Houston; three grandchildren, Brian Marsh, Ashlie Marsh and Travis Marsh.
Guthrie
Marie Guthrie, 91, died Sunday evening, June 3, 2007 in the Manor Oaks Nursing Home in Rockdale. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 7 in the Locklin Cemetery near San Gabriel with Mr. Charles Denman officiating.
Mrs. Guthrie was born Sept. 23, 1915 in Milam County to Thomas Zack and Viola Margaret (Scarbrough) Yoakum. She married James F. “Buster” Guthrie on March 12, 1935 in San Gabriel.
She was a lifelong Milam County resident mostly living in San Gabriel. She was a member of the San Gabriel Christian Church where she was very active as song leader and Sunday school teacher. She was also member of the Town and Country Club in Thorndale.
Mrs. Guthrie worked as a clerk for Forbes Dry Goods in Thorndale.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Feb. 19, 1997; father on Jan. 7, 1949; mother, Dec. 9, 1951; brother, Johnny Yoakum; three sisters, Ernestine Williams, Christine Hubert and Vivian Touchstone.
Survivors include son, Jimmy Guthrie and wife Sarah of Sharp; daughter, Jan Ellis and husband Jim of Rockdale; four grandchildren, Sharon Guthrie of Cedar Park, Dawn Lovelace and husband Shey of Brownsville, Tennessee, Lori Jones and husband Mikel of Bryan and Jay Ellis of Rockdale; four great-grandchildren, Chelsey Heine, Jacob Lovelace, Taylor Ethan Jones and Austin Jones; great-great-grandchild, Kaelyn Heil.
Belvin
Mildred Joyce (Minnick) Belvin, 72, died Monday, June 4, 2007 in the Georgetown Hospital after a brief battle with cancer. Services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, June 7 at Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Simcik of Buckholts Evangelical Brethren Church officiating. Burial will follow in the Sharp Cemetery.
Mrs. Belvin, a homemaker, was born May 21, 1935 in Austin to Jack and Elizabeth “Lizzie” Minnick. She married Robert Carl Belvin on March 15, 1957 in the First Baptist Church in Leander.
She was an active member of the Buckholts Evangenical Brethren Church. She enjoyed playing piano, scrapbooking and cooking. She felt that her greatest accomplishment was her family.
Mrs. Belvin was a resident of the Tracy community since 1984 and formerly of the Leander area.
Mrs. Belvin was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Robert “Bobby” Belvin of Tracy; two daughters, Connie Hammack and husband Billy of Rockdale, Cyndy Graham and husband George of Flower Mound; two brothers, Bobby Minnick of Hewitt and Tommy Minnick and wife Cyndy of Cedar Park; three grandchildren, Monty Hammack and wife Kristi of Panama City, Florida, Ashley Stutts and husband Brent of Rockdale and Blake Graham of Flower Mound; six great-grandchildren, Qyn, Shelby and Chesnee Hammack of Panama City, Florida and Jaylyn, Coy and Jordyn Stutts of Rockdale.
Pallbearers include Monty Hammack, Blake Graham, Brent Stutts, Carl Bradley, Stephen Swartz and Devin Lane. Honorary pallbearers are Larry McEntiro and Bill Hammack.
Memorials may be made to the church or charitable organization of donor’s choice.
Chrisner
Buford Leland Chrisner, 70, of Lexington for the past 15 years, died Friday, June 1, 2007 at his home near Lexington. Funeral services were held 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 5 at First Baptist Church in Rogers with Rev. Carl Chrisner of Springfield, MO officiating. Burial followed in the Rogers Cemetery.
Mr. Chrisner was born Nov. 25, 1936 in Rogers to Lee Milton Chrisner and Grace Leola (Davis) Chrisner.
He served 4 years in the United States Marines and then 20 years in the United States Army. During his military career he lived in a number of places in the United States.
After retirement he worked for the Austin American Statesman and later retired from there.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include two sons, Texas Chrisner and Thomas Chrisner, both of Lexington; three brothers, Rev. Carl Chrisner of Springfield, MO, Lloyd Chrisner of El Paso and Donald Chrisner of Lexington; two grandchildren, Jacob and Jessie.
