A memorial service for Paul Eugean Meyer Sr., 54, of Bridgeport was Tuesday, Oct. 8 at Hawkins Funeral Chapel. Chaplain Mike McInerney officiated.
Meyer died Sunday, Oct. 6, 2002, in Bridgeport.
Born May 25, 1948, in Fort Worth, Meyer was a truck driver. He married Melinda Caraway July 27, 2001.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife Melinda Meyer of Bridgeport; three sons, Skip Petitte of Corpus Christi, Paul Eugean Meyer Jr. of Corpus Christi and Calvin Joseph Drager Jr. of Sunset; eight daughters, Sandy Anette Lloyd and husband Dennis of Shreveport, La., Paula Jean Meyer and husband Phillip of Corpus Christi, Jennifer Harris of Bridgeport, Rhonda Marie Meyer of Corpus Christi, Tammy Joe Smith and husband Bryan of Corpus Christi, Rebecca Lynn Meyer of Bridgeport, Dee Dee Meyer of Bridgeport and Desiree Ann Drager of Sunset; a sister, Peggy Campbell and husband Jim of Fort Worth; 25 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Sybil Ditto McCarrell

A memorial service will be held at a later date for Sybil Ditto McCarrell, 91, of Sunset.
McCarrell died Sunday, Oct. 6, 2002, in Bowie.
Born Oct, 10, 1910, in Pleasant Ridge, she was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James McCarrell.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Timothy Logan Coffee

Service for Timothy Logan Coffee, 52, of Alvord, was to be at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, at the First Baptist Church in Alvord. The Rev. Bill Cleveland was to officiate. Burial was to follow at the Alvord Cemetery.
Coffee died Sunday, Oct. 6, 2002, in Alvord.
Born Feb. 17, 1950, in Phoenix, Ariz. he married Frances E. Rice Nov. 4, 1972, in Alvord. He served as a deacon of the First Baptist Church in Alvord, and he was a fire investigator.
He is survived by his wife Francie of Alvord; a son and daughter-in-law, Ty and Kristina Coffee of Falls Church, Va.; a sister, Patricia Maxwell of Campbellsburg, Ky.; and mother-in-law Zenna Rice of Alvord.
Pallbearers were to be Dean Peace, Brad Thompson, Andy Thompson, Kelly Rice, Russell Rice, Doug Parr, David Adams, Jay Houston and Kevin James.
Agripina Anaya Orona

A private service will be held for Agripina Anaya Orona, 93, of Bridgeport. Family visitation was to be Wednesday at Hawkins Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m.
Orona died Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2002, in Bridgeport.
Born June 23, 1909, in Colorado City, she was a housewife and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness in Colorado City.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Orona; a son, Dario Orona; a daughter, Mary Lara; three brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by three daughters, Lola Herring of Fort Worth, Lupe Goats of Odessa and Nancy Madrid of Bridgeport; four sons, Jose Orona and wife Rosie of Odessa, Pete Orona and wife Grace of Florenceville and Jesse Orona and wife Gloria of Odessa; a sister, Josephine A. Neria of Odessa, 34 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Jennifer Marie Parks
1986-2002
Service for Jennifer Marie Parks, 16, of Boyd will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6, 2002, at the First United Methodist Church in Boyd. The Rev. Steve Richardson will officiate, and burial will follow at Boyd Cemetery. Visitation was to be Saturday, Oct. 5 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Christian-Hawkins in Boyd.
Parks died Thursday, Oct. 3, 2002, in Boyd.
Born April 26, 1986, in Grapevine, she was a junior at Boyd High School. She was also a member of the Boyd High School track team, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Boyd First United Methodist Church where she was active in the youth group. She served as an officer and member of the Conference Council of Youth Ministries and was a member of the District Council of Youth Ministries, Chrysalis and the American Slovenian Catholic Union.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jack and Jean Parks.
She is survived by her parents, Mark and Jeannie (Jereb) Parks of Boyd; one sister, Jori Parks; one brother, Jamie Parks and maternal grandparents, Bill and Mary Ann Jereb of Grays Lake, Ill.
Pallbearers will be Caleb Stevenson, Dakota Roberts, Jacob Scott, Brad Young, Zack Selby, Will Pierce and Derek Lambert. Honorary pallbearers will be Kyle Hankins and Derrick Ratliff.

Service for Linda Neal Bishop, 83, of Decatur was to be Saturday, Oct. 5, at Coker Funeral Home in Decatur. The Rev. Dave Smith was to officiate, and burial was to follow at Bethel Cemetery.
Bishop died Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2002, in Fort Worth.
Born Aug. 22, 1919, in Pauls Valley, Okla., she was a homemaker and married Joe Bishop in Plainview in 1945.
She is survived by her husband, Joe Bishop of Decatur; four sons, Sonny Bishop of Bedford, Charlie Bishop of Bridgeport, Tommy Bishop and Joe Bishop, both of Decatur; one daughter, Doris Schwieger of Rhome; one brother, Reuben Parten of Pauls Valley; two sisters, LaVonne Odom of Shreveport, La., and Betty Sue Quigg of Pauls Valley; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Mary D. Winder

Service for Mary D. Winder, 91, of Decatur was Thursday, Oct. 3, at Coker Funeral Home Chapel in Decatur. The Rev. Steve Hudson officiated and was assisted by Sam Rector. Burial followed at Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur.
Winder died Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2002, in Decatur.
Born Aug. 11, 1911, in Archer County, she was a homemaker. She married Reuben Winder on Aug. 8, 1931, in Waurika, Okla. She was a member of Bell Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her son, George L. Winder.
She is survived by two sons, Robert A. Winder of Wichita Falls and James B. Winder of Spring; four daughters, Barbara Williams of Decatur, Patricia Kee Schuman of Whitney, Norma S. Clark of Mt. Pleasant and Karen Ress of Phoenix, Ariz.; 16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Service for Retha “Granny” Lee, 92, of Wizard Wells was to be Saturday, Oct. 5, at Hawkins Funeral Chapel in Bridgeport with burial in Paradise Cemetery. The Rev. Sonny Smith was to officiate. She was a former resident of Paradise.
Lee died Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2002, in Dallas.
Born Sept. 26, 1910, in Henderson County, Lee retired from the Bridgeport Sewing Room as a seamstress. She was a member of the Wizard Wells Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion S. Lee; her daughter, Iva Dell Milton; four sons, L.M. Lee, J.F. Lee, Kenneth Lee and Feryl Lee; two grandsons, Leonard Dewayne Lee and Carl Wayne Lee and one great-grandson.
She is survived by two sisters, Estelle Davenport of Grand Prairie and Evelyn Wilcox of Provo, Utah; 17 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 27 great-great-grandchildren,
