Patrick H. Heckman
BROWNWOOD - Patrick H. Heckman, 83, died Monday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Rocky Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Rick Jestice officiating. Burial will be in Rocky Creek Cemetery in Brown County, directed by Davis-Morris Funeral Home.
Mr. Heckman was born in Waurika, Okla. He retired from El Paso Natural Gas Company and was a member of Rocky Creek Baptist Church. He married Dorotha Nelson.
Survivors include his wife of Lake Brownwood; one son, John Heckman of Carlsbad, N.M.; three daughters, Yvonna Willis of Breckenridge, Rosealie Brown of Odessa and Janice Loggins of Arlington; one brother, W.G. "Bill" Heckman of Oroville, Cal.; ten grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Marie Boatright
ASPERMONT - Marie Boatright, 94, died Monday in a Bedford hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel in Aspermont with the Rev. Jim Reinbolt officiating. Burial will be in the Aspermont Cemetery.
Mrs. Boatright was born in Stonewall County. She was the widow of Preston "Heavy" Boatright, whom she married in Stonewall County in 1922. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include three daughters, Sue Husley of Fort Worth, Alice Cobb of Aspermont and Etta Fay Bumgarner of Grandview; one son, George Boatright of Akin, S.C.; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Ethel Denison
BROWNWOOD - Ethel Denison, 87, died Tuesday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday in the Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. R.J. Elkins officiating. Burial will be in May Cemetery.
Mrs. Denison was a former employee of Brownwood Regional Medical Center. She was the widow of Preston Denison, whom she married in Oklahoma in 1932. She was a member of Avenue D Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, James Denison and Tom Denison both of Brownwood; one brother, Manley Allgood of Ardmore, Okla.; ten grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Nocona Wilson Jetton
MUNDAY - Nocona Wilson Jetton, 88, died Monday in a local hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Gilliland Cemetery in Gilliland, Texas, with the Rev. A.B. Martin officiating, directed by McCauley-Smith Funeral Home.
Mrs. Jetton was born in Dustin, Okla. She was the widow of Oscar Lee Wilson, whom she married in 1928, and of James David Jetton, whom she married in 1964. She was a retired restaurant owner and a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Bessie Sue McCurry of Fort Worth; three sons, Charlie Robert Wilson of LakeKemp, Melvin Lee Wilson of Munday and James Richard Wilson of BurkBurnette; three sisters, Loys Gordon of Crowell, Grace Welch of Knox City and Mary Hunter of Hess, Okla.; one brother, Bill Bell of Kerney, Neb.; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

Marlin L. Hestand
SWEETWATER - Marlin L. Hestand, 83, died Monday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the First Baptist Church of Roscoe, with the Revs. Truman Friday and Keith Clifton officiating. Burial will be in Roscoe Cemetery, directed by McCoy Funeral Home of Roscoe.
Mr. Hestand was born in Van Zandt County. He married Mattie Campbell in Snyder in 1933. He moved from Sweetwater to Roscoe in 1996. He was retired from Lone Star Industries.
Survivors include his wife of Roscoe; one son, David Hestand of TexLine; three daughters, Dorothy Young of Sweetwater, Betty Nance of Yuma, Ariz., and Margaret Baker of Woodbridge, Va.; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and cousins.

Leola Bell Pettitte
LAWN - Leola Bell Pettitte, 97, died Monday in a local nursing home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the First Baptist Church of Lawn with the Rev. Price Mathieson officiating. Burial will be in the Counts Cemetery in Tokeen in Runnels County, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory.
Mrs. Pettitte was born in Runnels County where she attended school. She was the widow of Walter W. Pettitte, whom she married in Paint Rock in 1949. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lawn.
Survivors include two sisters, Emma V. Burleson of Lawn and Pauline Laramore of Abilene; one brother, Leroy Lockett of San Angelo; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Perry Lou Brady
HAMLIN - Perry Lou Brady, 83, a longtime resident, died Tuesday in a San Angelo hospital.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Foster-Adams Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Tuxedo.
Mrs. Brady was born in Stamford and attended school in Tuxedo and Stamford. She married Theodore T. Brady II in Abilene in 1939. She was a member of the Eastern Star, First Christian Church in Sweetwater and attended the First United Methodist Church in Hamlin. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband of Hamlin; one daughter, Connie Hicks of San Angelo; two sons, Theodore T. Brady III of Austin and James J. McConeghy of Duncanville; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one niece.

Lorene Swift, 74, died Wednesday in a local hospital.

Mrs. Swift was born in Rogers. She was a member of the Clyde Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Park Swift of Abilene; one son, John Swift of Abilene; and two grandchildren.

HASKELL - C.V. Schwartz, 88, died Tuesday at a local nursing home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Troy Culpepper and the Rev. Jim Turner officiating. Burial will be in Willow Cemetery, directed by Holden-McCauley Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Schwartz was born in Clyde. He was the widower of Katherine Gregory, whom he married in the Center Point community in 1935. He retired from the Texas Department of Transportation after 35 years' service. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Schwartz of Abilene and Troy Schwartz of Duncanville; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Frances Aunita Black
SNYDER - Frances Aunita Black, 76, a longtime resident, died Tuesday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Harold Harrison officiating. Burial will be in Ira Cemetery, directed by Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Black was born in Hermleigh. She was the widow of Wayne Kenneth Teague, whom she married in 1949, and also of Woodrow Wilson Black, whom she married in 1987 in Snyder. She worked as a waitress at the Plaza Truck Stop, Ballard's Café and other Snyder restaurants. She was a member of the Ladies Home Extension Club and a volunteer at the Senior Citizen's Center.
Survivors include three daughters, Pamela Jo Browning of Snyder, Charlene Harrison of Hobbs, N.M., and Hattie Joyce Smith of Canton; one son, James Robert Teague of Boyd; two brothers, Jack Allen Bryant of Snyder and Jimmy Don Bryant of Monahans; one sister, Bobbie Doris McKinney of Snyder; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Gladys Yarbrough
BRECKENRIDGE - Gladys Yarbrough, 83, formerly of Breckenridge, died Tuesday in a Gainesville hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Elliott Street Church of Christ with Jim Cox officiating. Burial will be in Breckenridge Cemetery, directed by Morehart Mortuary.
Mrs. Yarbrough was born in Millsap where she attended high school. She was the widow of Gordon Ray Yarbrough, whom she married in Breckenridge in 1943. She was retired from the Breckenridge Independent School District as a cafeteria employee.
Survivors include one son, Eldon Ray Yarbrough of Gainesville; two brothers, Leo Walker of Millsap and J.D. Walker of Shreveport, La.; one sister, Lorraine Corbin of Burkburnett; and two grandchildren.
