Clem Watson
COLEMAN Clem Watson, 82, a long time Coleman resident, died Thursday at his residence.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Coleman City Cemetery Pavilion with the Rev. Clarence Smith officiating, directed by Walker Funeral Home of Coleman.
Mr. Watson was born in Alma, Ark. He married Mary E. Dobbins in Coleman in 1942. He was retired from the City of Brownwood and was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife of Coleman; three daughters, Peggy Dobbins of Burkett, and Paula Beal and Kathy Burrage, both of Coleman; four sons, David Watson of Brownwood, Richard Watson of Santa Anna, and Douglas Watson and Thomas Watson, both of Coleman; one brother, J.L. Watson of Coleman; and 26 grandchildren.

Donald Buscher
SWEETWATER Donald Buscher, long time Sweetwater resident, died Tuesday at his home.
Memorial mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church with the Rev. Mike Goode officiating, directed by McCoy Funeral Home of Sweetwater. The body will be cremated.
Mr. Buscher was born in Georgetown, Washington, D.C. He married Jo Ann Rea in Arlington, Va., in 1946. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean conflict. Before moving to Sweetwater, he lived in South Charleston, W. Va., and Arlington, Va. He retired from Cheaspeak and Potomac Telephone (Bell Atlantic) after 39½ years service. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife of Sweetwater; three sons, Michael Buscher of Roswell, Ga., Patrick Buscher of Abilene, and Thomas Rea Buscher of St. Albans, W.Va.; one brother, Francis Buscher of Arlington; and nine grandchildren.

Flora Lee Turnbow
LAS CRUCES, N.M. Flora Lee Turnbow, 73, of Sweetwater, died Thursday in an Abilene hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Getz Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Wood officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Hatch, N.M. Local arrangements are by McCoy Funeral Home of Sweetwater.
Mrs. Turnbow was born in Washita, Okla. She was the widow of James R. Turnbow. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church of Sweetwater.
Survivors include three sons, Richard Turnbow of Carrollton, Ronald Turnbow of San Marcos, and Darrell Turnbow of Sweetwater; one daugher, Carol Freeman of Abilene; two brothers, Dell Tibbs and Wayne Tibbs, both of Las Cruces, N.M.; two sisters, Alma Herring of Sweetwater and Ozell Miller of Clovis, N.M.; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Shirley Ann Walker Drew
BROWNWOOD Shirley Ann Walker Drew, 56, of Zephyr, died Sunday at an Abilene hospital.
Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel with Aaron LaMont and Jim Hall officiating. The body was cremated.
Ms. Drew was born in Midland and graduated from Midland High School. She had lived in Zephyr since 1974 and was a purchasing agent for Johnson-Ross Company. She was a member of Zephr Church of Christ.
Survivors include two daughters, Belinda Allene Drew of Dallas and Jodie Lou Drew of Humble; three sisters, Maureen Mullanee of Sweetwater, and Laureen Woodruff and Dorothy Rogers of Midland; three brothers, Milford Walker of Medina, Claudie Walker of Richland Springs, and Billy Kay Walker of Georgetown; and one grandchild.

Lila Lavell Bell
SWEETWATER Lila Lavell Bell, 86, a long time Sweetwater resident, died Thursday in a local hospital.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Sweetwater Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Addington officiating, directed by McCoy Funeral Home of Sweetwater.
Mrs. Bell was born in Lueders. She married Rodney Leon Bell in Grosrena in 1933. She had lived in Sweetwater since 1956. She was a retired Licensed Vocational Nurse and had worked at Simmons Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Sweetwater O.E.S. #352 and of Highland Heights United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband of Sweetwater; one daughter, Janice McQueen of Sweetwater; one son, Rex D. Bell of Rockport; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. today at the McCoy Funeral Home in Sweetwater.

COLEMAN Charlotte Keeter, long time Coleman County resident, died Thursday at a local care facility.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Rough Creek Cemetery with D.G. Allen and the Rev. Audy Cathey officiating, directed by Henderson Funeral Home of Coleman.
Mrs. Keeter had lived in Coleman County since 1981. She was the widow of Mark Keeter and a member of the Novice Baptist Church.
Survivors include a step-grandson, Ron Keeter of Caddo; one niece; one nephew; and two special friends.

Pernie Harmon Wright
STRAWN Pernie Harmon Wright, 85, a long time Strawn resident, died Wednesday in a Stephenville hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the First Baptist Church in Strawn with the Revs. Jerry Speer and Todd Haley officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Marion Cemetery, directed by Edwards Funeral Home of Strawn.
Mrs. Wright was born in the Unity-Simms Valley Community and attended Simms-Valley schools. She was the widow of George Lee Harmon, whom she married in 1931, and of Olen Wright, whom she married in 1957. She worked at the Olney Nursing Home before moving to Strawn where she owned the Strawn Center. She owned the Mini Storage and Laundromat in Big Spring before moving back to Strawn. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the AARP. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two daughters, Betty Baker of Mingus and Sheryl Moss of Watauga; stepson, Clarence Wright of Breckenridge; stepdaughter, Shirley Martin of Clyde; one brother, Woody Parsons of Ranger; 15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Grady Williams
MUNDAY Grady Williams, 95, of Goree, died Wednesday in a Munday nursing center.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the First United Methodist Church in Goree with the Rev. Bruce Parks and Lenard Brothers officiating. Burial will be in Brushy Cemetery, directed by McCauley-Smith Funeral Home of Munday.
Mr. Williams was born in Williamson County. He married Susie McFarland in Abilene in 1961. He attended Simmons College in Abilene and graduated from Draughons Business College in Abilene. He moved from Williamson County to south of Goree in 1908, where he farmed and ranched until retiring. He was a former Goree City Council member and a member of the Goree First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife of Goree; one sister, Bernice Rutherford of Lubbock; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

BROWNWOOD Ira Cummins, 84, of Blanket, died Wednesday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Blanket First Baptist Church with the Revs. Billy Camp and Gary Day officiating. Burial will be in Blanket Cemetery, directed by Davis-Morris Funeral Home of Brownwood.
Mr. Cummins was born in Bell County and lived most of his life in Brown County. He married Jewell Welty Stanley in Blanket in 1957. He was a member of the Blanket Lions Club and the Blanket First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of Blanket; one son, Jerry Cummins of Arlington; two daughters, Linda King of Arlington and Barbara Davis of Okla.; three stepsons, Dale Stanley of Blanket, Billy Stanley of Odessa, and Chester Stanley of Houston; two stepdaughters, Betty Roundtree of Goldthwaite and Nettie Tatum of Conroe; nine great grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren.

Ret. Capt. Enders Philip Huey
Ret. Capt. Enders Philip Huey died March 15 in Orlando, Fla.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Episcopal Church of the Heavenly Rest in Abilene.
Mr. Huey was born in Cisco. He graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md. in 1941. He married Jane Pickard of Abilene in 1943.
Survivors include his wife of the home; one son, Jim Huey of San Francisco, Calif; two daughters, Jan Bilbro of Orlando, Fla. and Ruth Robertson of Encinitas, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
