W. C. Weske
W.C. Weske, 81 of Abilene, died Friday at a local hospital.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 542 Hickory, with Leroy Mason officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Memorial Park.
Mr. Weske was born in Nocona and graduated from high school in Hobbs, N.M. He married Luwan Higginbotham in Austin in 1942. He worked for Quaker State in Oil City, Penn. as a driller and overseer of leases. He moved to Abilene in 1980. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a Catholic.
Survivors include his wife of Abilene; two sisters, Agnes Pollemus of Scotts Valley, Calif. and Mary Ellen Means of Santa Cruz, Calif.; one brother, Joe Weske of Walnut Creek, Calif.; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family will be at 573 EN 23rd Street.

Willie Mae Elmore Blair
Willie Mae Elmore Blair, 97, died Friday at a local nursing home.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Cedar Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Luther S. Hollowell officiating, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory.
Mrs. Blair was born in Killeen where she graduated from high school. She was the widow of Jack Blair, whom she married in Killeen in 1920. She was a homemaker and a 63-year member of Southside Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Nina White Woodard and Doris Blair Horowitz, both of Abilene; two sisters, LaVerne Hobson of Cleveland and Maxine Walser of Vernon; two grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth Jean Jackson
Elizabeth Jean Jackson, 59, died Thursday at a local hospital
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Elliott-Hamil Chapel of Faith, 5701 U.S. Hwy 277 south, with the Rev. H.B. Terry officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Jackson was born in Farmingdale (Long Island), N.Y. She moved to Abilene in 1971. She obtained her Licensed Vocational Nurse license in 1972 and worked for the Traveling Nurses.
She is survived by one son, David Walters of Abilene; one brother, Victor Walters Jr. of New York; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

William E. Dolphin
William E. Dolphin, 62, of Abilene, died Friday at a local hospital.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Church of the Heavenly Rest, Episcopal, with the Rev. Scott Mayer officiating, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Homes, 542 Hickory. Burial will be in Elmwood Memorial Park.
Mr. Dolphin was born in Syracuse, N.Y., and moved to Abilene in 1976 from Bryan. He worked at Hendrick Medical Center as a systems analyst until his retirement. He served on the National Honor Guard in Washington, D.C., and served aboard the U.S.S. Waldron while in the U.S. Navy. He married Sherrill Yancey in Houston in 1970.
Survivors include his wife of Abilene; one son, Michael Dolphin of Red Oak; two daughters, Dorothy Graham of Katy and Penny Bond of Abilene; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mary E. Henderson
Mary E. Henderson, 82, of Tuscola, died Friday in an Abilene hospital.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Elmwood Memorial Park with the Rev. Price Mathieson officiating, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory.
Mrs. Henderson was born in Tuscaloosa, Ala., and lived in Abilene most of her life. She married Donald Henderson in Abilene in 1942. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband of Tuscola; one brother, Joe Wilson of Abilene; and two nieces.

Gracie Aline Perryman
SWEETWATER - Gracie Aline Perryman, 76, of Sweetwater, died Thursday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with the Rev. Keith Clifton officiating. Burial will be in Sweetwater Cemetery.
Mrs. Perryman was born in Checotah, Okla. She was the widow of Harry Perryman, whom she married in Checotah, Okla., in 1940. She had lived in Sweetwater since 1943. She was a homemaker and a member of the Lamar Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Edyth Brothers of Sweetwater and Anna Renfro of Hugo, Okla.; one son, John Perryman of Gilmer; four sisters, Mary Combs of Hoffman, Okla., Rosa Morgan of Henrietta, Okla., Maggie Sims of Sweetwater, and Margaret McColpin of Tahlequah, Okla.; two brothers, John Biles of Warner, Okla. and Robert Biles of Checotah, Okla.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Hermenijilda 'Minnie' Quintanilla
ROTAN - Hermenijilda "Minnie" Quintanilla, 73, of Hamlin, died Friday in an Abilene hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph's Catholic Church with the Rev. Johnrose Hayden officiating, directed by Weathersbee Funeral Home of Rotan.
Mrs. Quintanilla was born in Rotan and was a life-long resident of Jones and Fisher Counties. She was a homemaker and a member of the El Ranchito Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Mario Flores of Hamlin; three sons, Robert Quintanilla Jr., Larry Quintanilla, and Profirio Quintanilla, all of Hamlin; three daughters, Alice Alvinia and Carmen Yanez, both of Snyder, and Elva Galvan of Anson; four sisters, Benina Gonzalez of Roby, Rica Guzman of Lubbock, Susanna Rangel of Hamlin, and Petra Carrillo of Snyder; three brothers, Urzulo Flores, Dario Flores and Profiro Flores, all of Hamlin; 17 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Venita Jewel Kreger
HASKELL - Venita Jewel Kreger, 87, died Friday in an Abilene hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Church of Christ with the Rev. Dale Huff officiating. Burial will be in Willow Cemetery, directed by Holden-McCauley Funeral Home of Haskell.
Mrs. Kreger was born in Paluxy. She was the widow of Raymond Kreger, whom she married in Haskell in 1934. She worked as a waitress and clerk for the hospital auxilary. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include three brothers, Grover Larned of Haskell, Willis Larned of Breckenridge, and Tommy Larned of Mulberry, Fla.; and three step-grandchildren.
The family will be at 1106 S. Avenue G in Haskell.

Roy Sutton
MIDLAND - Roy Sutton, 78, died Saturday.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Ellis Funeral Home Chapel with Colquitt Nash and Greg Fleming officiating. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Elmwood Cemetery in Abilene, directed by Ellis Funeral Home of Midland.
Mr. Sutton was born in Huntsville, Ark. He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Saratoga during World War II. He retired from Rowan Drilling Company in 1976. He was a member of the North A and Tennessee Church of Christ, The Lions Club, and was a scout leader.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Sutton of Midland; two sons, Don Sutton and Kent Sutton, both of El Paso; a daughter, Carol Schweikhard of Abilene; one brother, Raymond Sutton of Huntsville, Ark.; four grandchildren; and a niece and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to North A and Tennessee Church of Christ in Midland, Texas.
