William M. McBee
William M. McBee, 80, died Sunday in Santa Ana, Calif.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today in Santa Ana, Calif. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Elmwood Memorial Park in Abilene with Eddie Sharp officiating, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory.
Mr. McBee was born in Lavernia and had lived in California since 1940. He was the widower of Mary Dean McBee and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He married Nadine McBee. He was president and CEO of Kingsley Manufacturing in Costa Mesa, Calif., prior to his retirement. He was an elder in the Northside Church of Christ in Santa Ana, Calif., and a member of the Lions Club.
Survivors include his wife of Santa Ana, Calif.; one son, Douglas McBee of Orange, Calif.; one daughter, Mary Kay Mitchell of Abilene; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Sandra ‘Sandy’ J. Hill
BANGS — Sandra “Sandy” J. Hill, 54, died Wednesday in Brownwood.
Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. today at the Bangs Cemetery with the Rev. Ruben Packer officiating, directed by Heartland Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hill was born in Brownwood. She married Dennis Lynn Hill in Brownwood in 1983. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband of Bangs; one son, Jeffrey Clark of Bangs; one stepson, Vance Hill of Brownwood; two daughters, Laura DeAnne Bishop of Bryan and Sara Michelle Bishop of Brownwood; two stepdaughters, Dalisa Lyod of Brownwood and Shana Burchfield of Granbury; two sisters, Tanya Anne Powell of Arlington and Laura Lee Davis of Bangs; two half-sisters, Deanna Timms of Lubbock and Gay Dawn Aldridge; her mother and stepfather, Ruby Jean and Calvin Miller; and 12 grandchildren.

Janie ‘Hutchison’ Williams
BROWNWOOD — Janie “Hutchison” Williams, 88, died Tuesday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. R.J. Elkins officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
Ms. Williams was born in Gary and had previously lived in Carthage. She was the widow of Tracy Cochran. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Survivors include seven daughters, Francis Bonin, Wanda Sides, and Pearl Stanley, all of Houston, Freda Cochran and Tammy Wells, both of Brownwood, Tracy Ward of Phoenix, Ariz., and Ruth Storm of Porter; 22 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Edna Puckett Holmes
COLEMAN — Edna Puckett Holmes, 87, died Tuesday in a local nursing center.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Henderson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clarence Smith officiating. Burial will be at 4 p.m. at Waco Memorial Park in Waco.
Mrs. Holmes was born in Llano County. She attended Millersview School in McCullough County. She was the widow of Hershel Puckett, whom he married in Coleman in 1930, and of Louis Holmes, whom she married in Waco in 1959. She has been a resident of Coleman since 1981. She was a member of Concho Baptist Church and a housewife.
Survivors include two daughters, Catherine Wynn of Fort Worth and Dorthy Meador of Abilene; three sons, Carroll Puckett of San Angelo, Joe Puckett of Gatesville; and David Puckett of Clifton; two sisters, Vernie Puckett and Izora Bradley, both of Coleman; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6-7:30 tonight at the funeral home.

James N. Brannan
BRECKENRIDGE — James N. Brannan, 78, died Tuesday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Melton Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with the Rev. Johnny Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Breckenridge Cemetery.
Mr. Brannan was born in Parks Camp. He married Claudia Johnson in Breckenridge in 1941. He served with the 8th Air Force in the European theater during World War II. He flew 34 missions and received the Air Medal with four oak leaf clusters. He worked as a roustabout, production foreman and pumper. He was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife of Breckenridge; two daughters, Barbara Love of Breckenridge and Judy Bussell of Odessa; two brothers, Weldon Brannan of Nacogdoches and Ray Brannan of Odessa; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Thelma M. Aydelotte
ALBANY — Thelma M. Aydelotte, 84, died Wednesday in an Abilene hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Albany Cemetery with the Revs. David Mallory and Don Clevenger officiating, directed by Godfrey-Neese Funeral Home of Albany.
Mrs. Aydelotte was born in Blossom. She was the widow of William Martin and of Clark Aydelotte. She was a registered nurse and a homemaker. She was a member of Four Square Gospel Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Marie Spurgin of Albany and Leona Ham of Paoli, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews.

Janie Lou Guffin Gregory
WEATHERFORD — Janie Lou Guffin Gregory, 84, formerly of Stamford, died Tuesday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in St. John’s United Methodist Church in Stamford with the Revs. Vernon Henderson, Phil McClendon and John Erwin officiating. Burial will be in the Highland Memorial Cemetery, directed by Kinney Funeral Home of Stamford.
Mrs. Gregory was born in Duke, Okla. She was the widow of Cecil E. Gregory, whom she married in Stamford in 1940. She was a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church and was a homemaker.
Survivors include one son, Marvin Gregory of Tahoka; one daughter, Jane Anne Gregory of Weatherford; one sister; Anna Belle Jones of Sulphur Springs; and two grandchildren.

W. H. Bearden Jr
FORT WORTH — W.H. Bearden Jr., 77, died Tuesday in an Arlington hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Hall & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Comanche. Masonic graveside services will be in the Oakwood Cemetery.
Mr. Bearden was born in Waxahachie. He married Faye Stephenson in Rockwall in 1948. He was veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served in World War II and the Korean War. He worked in the General Services Administration until his retirement in 1985. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the George B. Dealey Lodge in Dallas; a member of the Scottish Rite; and a Shriner. He was a member of the Cockerell Hill Methodist Church in Dallas.
Survivors include his wife of Fort Worth; three sons, Gordon Bearden of Early, Stephen Bearden of Austin, and Bruce Bearden of Fort Worth; one brother, Homer Bearden of Dallas; one sister, Nellie Crow of Grand Prairie; and three grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Masonic Home and School, American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.

Dan L. Littlefield
AUSTIN — Dan L. Littlefield, 78, formerly of Abilene, died Tuesday.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Harrell Funeral Home Chapel in Austin with the Rev. Bob Griffith officiating. Burial will be in Forest Oaks Memorial Park in Austin.
Mr. Littlefield was born in Sagerton and attended school in Anson. He was the widower of Fannie Lou Gentry, whom he married in Abilene in 1937. He worked for Martin Linen Supply in Abilene until his transfer to Austin in 1950. He married Maurine Littlefield in Austin in 1974. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a charter member of the South Austin Rotary Club and was a member of the Crestview Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of Austin; two daughters, Danna Jacobson of Austin and Barbara Hamilton of Montgomery, Ala.; one son, Larry Littlefield of Austin; two brothers, Harold Littlefield of Anson and Billy Max Littlefield of Abilene; one sister, Marion Brown of Temple; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 7-9 tonight at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
