Thelma Grant
Thelma E. Grant, 94, died Sunday at a local convalescent center.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in McBee Cemetery with the Rev. R.J. Elkins officiating, directed by North’s funeral Home, 242 Orange.
Mrs. Grant grew up in Ovalo and was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Lawn. She married Roy Grant in Ovalo.
Survivors include one brother, Lester Landers of Lawn; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Mamie Kennamer White
Mamie Kennamer White, 91, of Abilene died Saturday at a local nursing center.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at North 5th and Grape Street Church of Christ with A.H. Kennamer and Claud Parrish officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Memorial Park, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory.
Mrs. White was born in Paint Rock, Ala., and graduated from high school in Gurley, Ala. She was a licensed vocational nurse. She moved to Sweetwater from Paint Rock, Ala., in 1942 and worked at Young Medical Center in Sweetwater and Roscoe Hospital in Roscoe. She moved to Abilene in 1964 and retired from Hendrick Medical Center, where she worked from 1964-1978. She was a member of North 5th and Grape Street Church of Christ and active with Cobb Park Senior Citizens Center. She was a volunteer for Retired Senior Volunteer Program. She married Lovis C. Kennamer in 1928 in Woodville, Ala. She married Cecil L. White in 1983 in Abilene. Both preceded her in death.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. E.G. (Jean) Holzmann of Abilene, Mrs. Bob G. (Anita) Holloway of Springtown and Mrs. Ronnie (Wanda) Pietzsch of Roscoe; two sisters, Estelle Perry of Florence Ala., and Mrs. Howard (Alice Mildred) Maples of Paint Rock, Ala.; six granddaughters and six great-grandchildren.

Tressie Mae Stinson
COLORADO CITY — Tressie Mae Stinson, 84, died Saturday at a local hospital.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at 22nd and Austin Church of Christ with Royce Clay Jr. officiating. Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, directed by Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Stinson was born in Hillsboro and graduated from Hillsboro High School. She lived in several places around the world with the military and in Ecuador and El Salvador with the U.S. Department of Agriculture. She was involved in missionary work and established a Church of Christ in Ecuador. She married Milton Stinson in 1934 in Fort Worth.
Survivors include five sons, Thomas Stinson of Snyder, Elvin Stinson of Pleasanton, William Stinson of Colorado City, Truman Stinson of Marble Falls and Kenneth Stinson of Worland, Wyo.; 15 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Nita Fay Walls
CLYDE — Nita Fay Walls, 87, of Abilene and formerly of Clyde, died Sunday at an Abilene care center.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Clyde Church of Christ with Rick Cunningham officiating. Burial will be in Clyde Cemetery, directed by Bailey Funeral Home.
Mrs. Walls was born in Eolian (Stephens County) and attended school there. She graduated from McMurry University with a master’s degree in education. She moved from Denton Valley to Clyde in 1965 and was a school teacher in Eolian, Eula, Denton Valley and Clyde. She was a member of Clyde Church of Christ, Clyde Women’s Club, Thursday Club and Order of the Eastern Star. She married Robert Terry “Ted” Walls in 1941 in Abilene; he preceded her in death.
Survivors include one son, John Walls of San Angelo; two grandchildren, one great-grandson and numerous nieces and nephews.

Tommy Windham
ATHENS — Tommy S. Windham, 65, died Sunday at his home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Fster & Brown Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry McAden officiating. Burial will be in Shelby Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Windham was born in Oplin and had lived in Athens for 35 years. He was a retired truck driver and owned and operated Windham Transportation Co. He was a raiser of registered Yorkshire hogs. He was a member of Bois D’Arc Baptist Church. He married Gwyn McAden in 1959.
Survivors include his wife, of Athens; one daughter, Christi Lyn Goodell of Athens; one son, Dusty Windham of Athens; one brother, Billy Ray Windham of Oplin; and four grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7-8 p.m. today.

Albert Frank Fetsch
RHINELAND — Albert Frank Fetsch, 85, died Sunday at a Munday nursing home.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church with the Rev. George Foley officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, directed by McCauley-Smith Funeral Home of Munday.
Mr. Fetsch was born in Rhineland and lived their his entire life. He was a retired farmer and a member of Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church. He married Wilhelmina Franklin in 1936 in Rhineland.
Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Catherine Brown of Hereford, Margaret Brown of Fort Worth, Beatrice Watkins of Waco and Cecilia Roach of Cross Roads; four sons, Norbert Fetsch of Waco, William Fetsch of Croyden, Pa., Henry Fetsch of Queen City and Clarence Fetsch of Denver, Colo.; four brothers, Leo Fetsch of Munday, Paul Fetsch of Muenster, Felix Fetsch of Hereford and Fidelis Fetsch of Seymour; three sisters, Mary Albus and Angie Albus, both of Pep, and Annie Krahula of Duncan, Okla.; 35 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Ellis Milton ‘Sen’ Hunt
EASTLAND — Ellis Milton “Sen” Hunt, 94, died Friday at a local hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Wyley Peebles officiating. Burial will be in Eastland City Cemetery.
Mr. Hunt was born in Eastland County and had been an oil field worker and farm and ranch manager. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Eastland Masonic Lodge 467, Scottish Rite and the chapter and council. He was the widower of Velma Beene. He married Wilma Wayne Robason in 1961 in Fort Worth.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Ellis Milton Jr. of Chula Vista and Richard Alan of El Cajon, Calif.; one stepdaughter, Betty Marino of Huntington Beach, Calif.; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren and one step-great-great-granddaughter.

Philip White
BROWNWOOD — Philip L. White, 95, died Saturday at a local nursing home.
The body will be cremated, directed by Heartland Funeral Home. No services are planned.
Mr. White was born in Apple River, Ill., and moved to Brownwood form Temple in 1991. He was a farmer and owned and operated a coin-operated laundry in Temple for many years.
Survivors include one son, Bruce White of Brownwood; one sister, Helen Rompanin of Waukegan, Ill.; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Richard ‘Dick’ Hall
EASTLAND — Richard P. “Dick” Hall, 81, died Sunday at an Abilene hospital.
Services will be at 10:30 am. Wednesday at Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Jonathan Gay officiating. Burial will be in Eastland City Cemetery, directed by Edwards Funeral Home.
Mr. Hall was born in Duke, Okla., and grew up in Burkburnett. He was an aircraft mechanic during World War II and drove an automobile transport truck. He became director of public works for an independent water district in Wichita Falls in 1955 and served the same capacity in Englewood and Montrose, Colo., retiring in 1979. He moved to Eastland in 1997 and was active in Bethel Baptist Church, where he was a deacon. He was a member of Burkburnett Masonic Lodge for 45 years. He married Edith Johnston in 1939 in Henrietta.
Survivors include his wife, of Eastland; one daughter, Linda Lohoff of Santa Fe, Calif.; two grandsons and three great-grandchildren.

Relna Branch Long
ROTAN — Relna Branch Long, 61, died Monday at her home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Werth Mayes officiating. Burial will be in Belvieu Cemetery, directed by Weathersbee Funeral Home.
Mrs. Long was born in Abilene and was a lifelong resident of Fisher County. She was a schoolteacher in Abilene, White Settlement and Hamlin. She was a member of First Baptist Church (where she was an organist), T.S.T.A., TIP of McMurry, A.T.P.E. and Classroom Teachers Association. She married Leo Long in 1961 in Rotan.
Survivors include her husband, of Rotan; one daughter, Dilana Long of Victoria; one son, Brad Long of Rotan; and one sister, Erma Daniel of Rotan.
