Cyril William ‘Bill’ Hamilton
SANDERSON — Cyril William “Bill” Hamilton, 70, died Wednesday at his residence.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 22, at First Baptist Church in Blackwell with the Revs. Jackie Gestes and Buddy Trull officiating. Masonic graveside services will be in Blackwell, directed by Winters Funeral Home.
Mr. Hamilton was born in Blackwell, where he graduated from high school. He attended Sul Ross University. He ranched in Coke County until he married Juanita Picaso on March 13, 1989, in Sanderson. He worked as a soil conservationist and was presently Superintendent for the Road and Bridge Department of Terrell County. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Blackwell and of the Hylton Masonic Lodge 884.
Survivors include his wife of Sanderson; one son, John Hamilton of Blackwell; three daughters, Carole Allen of Blackwell, Susan Hamilton of Abilene, and Victoria Hamilton of Sanderson; one sister, Pauline Wadley of San Antonio; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Memorials may be made to Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch in San Angelo.

Camila Fresnillo Delgado
STRAWN — Camila Fresnillo Delgado, 93, died Thursday at her residence.
Rosary will be at 7 p.m. today at Edwards Funeral Home in Strawn with Deacon Jesse Ruiz officiating. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 22, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Strawn with the Rev. Vincent Inametti officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Marion Cemetery.
Mrs. Delgado was born in Thurber. She was the widow of Margarito Delgado, whom she married in Eastland on Jan. 27, 1918. She was a homemaker and a member of St. John’s Catholic Church.
Survivors include six daughters, Lucy Delgado Tretter of Strawn, Rose Eagan of San Leandro, Calif., Louise Conway of Harvard, Ill., Juanita Frazier of Fort Worth, and Erlinda Lenora Gutierrez and Angelina Salinas, both of Austin; four sons, Frank Delgado of San Francisco, Calif., Joe Delgado of Athens, and Paul Delgado and Phillip Delgado, both of Strawn; 26 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a niece and nephew.

Clifford Earl Morris
Clifford Earl Morris, 69, of Abilene, died Thursday in a local nursing home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel in Clyde with the Rev. Jack Hardy officiating. Masonic graveside services will be at Eula Cemetery.
Mr. Morris was born in Breckenridge and was in oil field sales. He married Mildred Graham in Abilene on April 1, 1973. He was a member of the Methodist Church, Clyde Masonic Lodge 1056 and Past Patron of OES 308 in Clyde.
Survivors include his wife of Abilene; one daughter, Brenda Freeland of Abilene; one stepdaughter, Metha Spivey of Abilene; two stepsons, Mike Spivey of Abilene and Mitchell Spivey of Muscatine, Iowa; one sister, Betty Jeffries of Clyde; two grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren.

Stephen Allan Talbott
FORT WORTH — Stephen Allan Talbott, 42, formerly of Snyder, died Wednesday in a car accident near Cisco.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 23, at the First Baptist Church in Snyder with the Rev. Miller Robinson and Dr. Marty Akins officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Memorial Gardens, directed by Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Mr. Talbott was born in Olney and graduated from Snyder High School. He graduated from the University of Texas in 1978. He married Jana Moore in Aug., 1986, in Las Vegas, Nev. He was an oil and gas operator.
Survivors include his wife of Fort Worth; his parents, Cloyce and Anita Talbott of Snyder; his mother, Virblene Talbott of Olney; two sons, Chase Talbott of Fort Worth and John Talbott of Dallas; one brother, Stanley Talbott of Midland; and one sister, Stacy Walker of Jamestown, Tenn.

Paul M. Carr
Paul M. Carr, 85, of Abilene, died Thursday in a local hospital.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, May 24, in the Elmwood Memorial Park with James Stovall officiating, directed by Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 U.S. Hwy. 277 South.
Mr. Carr was born in Walters, Okla. He was the widow of Mildred Carr. He was a member of the Pipefitters Local 654.
Survivors include two daughters, Beverly Westfall of Abilene and Sandra Simpson of Tomball; two sisters, Stella Allen of Tyler and Jessie Norman of Walters, Okla.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Herbert R. Wright Jr.
Herbert R. Wright Jr., 77, formerly of Abilene, died Thursday at a Round Rock care center.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Faith, 5701 U.S. Hwy. 277 South with the Rev. Darris Egger officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Memorial Park.
Mr. Wright was born in Struthers, Ohio, and graduated from South High School in Youngstown, Ohio. He was the widower of George Ellen Stuckey Wright, whom he married on April 22, 1945, in Humble. He retired from the U.S. Air Force after 22 years and from the U.S. Postal Service after 23 years. He moved to Abilene in 1961. He was a member of the St. James United Methodist Church, Key City Amateur Radio Club, and Commodore "64" Computer Club.
He is survived by two sons, retired Cmdr. Herbert R. Wright III of San Diego, Calif. and Thomas J. Wright of Round Rock; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 1 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Loyd Everett Wilson
STAMFORD - Loyd Everett Wilson, 79, died Thursday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Tankersley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jessie Morton officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery.
Mr. Wilson was born in Romney and was a longtime resident of the Stamford area. He married Jerry Sue Ard on Oct. 2, 1971, in Stamford. He was a retired trucker and a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife of Stamford; two sons, Melvin Wilson of Odessa and Tommy Wilson of Eunice, N.M.; and six grandchildren.

Leta Janell Gholson
ASPERMONT - Leta Janell Gholson, 78, died Thursday in a Rotan hospital.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 23, at the Aspermont Cemetery with the Rev. Rex Boggs officiating, directed by McCoy Funeral Home of Aspermont.
Mrs. Gholson was born in Hale Center. She was the widow of James Quincy Gholson, whom she married on Sept. 20, 1969, in Abilene. She was a homemaker and affiliated with the Church of Christ.
Survivors include three daughters, Inez Elrod of Rotan, Jerry Hallum of Canadian, and Beth Wilcoxson of McKinsey, Tenn.; one son, Lonnie Messenger of Eastland; two brothers, Lawrence Ellerd of Graham and Jesse Ellerd of Throckmorton; one stepdaughter, Vicky Kirby; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

ASPERMONT - A.B. English, 75, died Friday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, May 23, at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Reinbolt officiating. Burial will be in the Aspermont Cemetery, directed by McCoy Funeral Home of Aspermont.
Mr. English was born in Kennard. He was the widow of Maxine Myers English, whom he married on April 23, 1949, in Aspermont. He owned and operated the E&M Water Well Drilling in Aspermont.
Survivors include two sons, Roger English and Mike English, both of Aspermont; one daughter, Cynthia Kaye Puckett of Dodridge, Ark.; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Earnest Lafate Holt
WINTERS - Earnest Lafate Holt, 86, died Thursday in a Ballinger hospital.
Graveside services will be at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, May 23, at Lakeview Cemetery, directed by Winters Funeral Home.
Mr. Holt was born in Baird and moved to Winters as a young man. He married Alice Sellers on Nov. 19, 1932, in Winters. He was a mechanic and a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife of Winters; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
