Cyril William 'Bill' Hamilton
SANDERSON - Cyril William "Bill" Hamilton, 70, died Wednesday at his residence.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today, at First Baptist Church in Blackwell with the Revs. Jackie Gestes and Buddy Trull officiating. Masonic graveside services will be in Blackwell, directed by Winters Funeral Home.
Mr. Hamilton was born in Blackwell, where he graduated from high school. He attended Sul Ross University. He ranched in Coke County. He married Juanita Picaso on March 13, 1989, in Sanderson. He worked as a soil conservationist and was presently Superintendent for the Road and Bridge Department of Terrell County. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Blackwell and of the Hylton Masonic Lodge 884.
Survivors include his wife of Sanderson; one son, John Hamilton of Blackwell; three daughters, Carole Allen of Blackwell, Susan Hamilton of Abilene, and Victoria Hamilton of Sanderson; one sister, Pauline Wadley of San Antonio; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Memorials may be made to Cal Farley's Boys Ranch in Amarillo.

James C. Lambdin
James C. Lambdin, 79, died Friday at a local hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, May 24, at the First Church of the Nazarene with the Revs. Garland Wallace and Howard Smith officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Memorial Park, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory.
Mr. Lambdin was born in Oklahoma City, Okla. and made Abilene his home for many years. He received his Masters degree from the University of Texas and taught school for 27 years, 17 in the Abilene Independent School District. He was a retired U.S. Air Force veteran and the widower of Avaleen Murphree, whom he married in July, 1942, in San Antonio. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene where he served on the church board and NWMS Council, receiving the Distinguished Service award.
Survivors include his son, Bruce Lambdin of Midland; and one sister, Frances M. Durall of Federal Way, Wash.

Inez Smith
CISCO - Inez Smith, 88, of Las Cruces, N.M., died Thursday in Las Cruces.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 25, at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Chris Craig officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, directed by Kimbrough Funeral Home of Cisco.
Mrs. Smith was born in Callahan County. She was the widow of John Wesley Smith, whom she married on Dec. 19, 1930, in Cisco. She was a homemaker and a member of the Cisco First Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Dr. James Durword Smith of Fort Worth and William C. "Bill" Smith of Las Cruces, N.M.; three sisters, Nell Simmons, Clarice O'Brien, and Winifred Pippen; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Charles Lee Hamilton
Charles Lee Hamilton, 74, died Friday in a local hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, in the Dawson Cemetery in Dawson with the Rev. Larry Bass officiating, directed by Girdner-Brown Funeral Home of Abilene. A memorial service will be conducted at the Fairmount United Methodist Church at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 27.
Mr. Hamilton was born in Ennis. He married Faye Caskey in Corsicana in 1951. He was in the insurance business in Midland and Abilene. He was a member of the Fairmount United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife of Abilene; one daughter, Elizabeth Ann Hamilton of Abilene; and one son, Tommy Lee Hamilton of Nashville, Tenn.

Lerah Ione Petree
Lerah Ione Petree, 96, died Friday at local care center.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, May 24, at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Faith, 5701 Hwy. 277 South, with Richard Petree officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Petree was born near Potosi and moved to View as a child. She graduated from high school in Merkel and later moved to Abilene. She worked as a hairdresser for Fifth Avenue Beauty Shop and at Grissom's Department Store for 30 years. She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one sister, Juanita Lynn of Norman, Okla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Renvie Patterson
MUNDAY - Renvie Patterson, 89, died Saturday in a local nursing center.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, May 24, at the Munday First Baptist Church with the Rev. Gerald Doyle officiating. Burial will be in Johnson Memorial Cemetery, directed by McCauley-Smith Funeral Home of Munday.
Mrs. Patterson was born in Fisher County and moved to Knox County in 1939. She was the widow of Joseph Payne Patterson, whom she married on Jan. 8, 1927, in Rotan. She was a homemaker and a member of the Home Demonstration Club for over 30 years. She was President of the WMU and a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Kenneth Patterson of Munday; two daughters, Mauriece Doyle of Fredericksburg and Shirley Rhame of Springtown; four sisters, Era Mae Woody of Rotan, Laverrel Pittman of Albany, Elizabeth Kitchens of Childress, and Betty Jo Skaggs of Jefferson; four brothers, Richard Floyd and Francis Floyd, both of Rotan, Johnnie Floyd of Midland and J.W. Floyd of Bartlesville, Okla.; 11 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Exa Lorene Lott
FORT WORTH - Exa Lorene Lott, 95, died Friday.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, May 24, at Mount Olivet Cemetery, directed by Mount Olivet Funeral Home of Fort Worth.
Mrs. Lott was born near Rule in Haskell County. She was the widow of Ernest Lott. She moved to Rule and worked at the Rule Cotton Compress. She moved to Fort Worth in 1976, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lake Worth.
Survivors include one daughter-in-law, Loris Lott; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A.B. English Jr. 'Junior'
ASPERMONT - A.B. English Jr. "Junior", 75, died Friday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. today, at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Reinbolt officiating. Burial will be in the Aspermont Cemetery, directed by McCoy Funeral Home of Aspermont.
Mr. English was born in Kennard. He was the widow of Maxine Myers English, whom he married on April 23, 1949, in Aspermont. He owned and operated the E&M Water Well Drilling in Aspermont.
Survivors include two sons, Roger English and Mike English, both of Aspermont; one daughter, Cynthia Kaye Puckett of Dodridge, Ark.; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Jeff D. Harper
BIG SPRING - Jeff D. Harper, 85, of Abilene, died Saturday at a local hospital following a lengthy illness.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 25, at Wylie Baptist Church, directed by Myers and Smith Funeral Home of Big Spring.
Mr. Harper was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Europe during World War II. He was an auto mechanic.
Survivors include one son, Jeff David Harper; three sisters, Ola Kennedy of Abilene, Irene Hickman of Dallas, and Dealious Smith of Fort Worth; one brother, Melvin Harper of San Antonio; and two grandchildren.

Joy C. Harlow
SAN ANGELO - Joy C. Harlow, 20, formerly of Brownwood, died Friday.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, May 24, at the Coggin Avenue Baptist church with the Rev. Ricky Cavitt officiating, directed by Davis-Morris Funeral Home of Brownwood.
Ms. Harlow was born in Carrizo Springs and graduated from high school in Midland. She worked in the Radiology Department in Shannon Hospital.
Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Janie and Bill Stewart of Corpus Christi; her father, James Harlow of Brownwood; one brother, Jeremy Harlow of Stephenville; one sister, Jocelyn Keeney of Coleman; two half-brothers, Taj Harlow and Tanner Harlow of Brownwood; and grandparents, Dale and Dorothy Harlow of Brownwood.
Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
