Waldemar Lee Elias
STAMFORD - Waldemar Lee Elias, 54, formerly of Abilene, died Thursday in an Abilene hospital.
Rosary will be at 7 p.m. today at the Kinney Funeral Home Chapel in Stamford. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday, July 5, at St. Ann's Catholic Church with the Rev. Michael Melcher officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Elias was born in Stamford and was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Ann Rodriguez of Stamford; one daughter, Monique Elias of Abilene; three sons, Troy Elias and Kevin Elias both of Abilene, and Cesar Berumen of El Paso; five sisters, Mary Mendez of Salinas, Kan., Irene Ruiz of Holland, Ohio, Lupe Guadalczar of Haskell, and Margaret Driggs and Ann Sanchez both of Stamford; one brother, Manuel Elias of Dallas; three grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the West Texas Rehabilitation Center or the Diabetes Association.

Dr. Paul W. Riffle Sr.
RANGER - Dr. Paul W. Riffle Sr., 74, died Thursday in an Abilene hospital.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 5, at the Mesquite and Rusk Church of Christ with Shawn Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, directed by Edwards Funeral Home of Ranger.
Dr. Riffle was born in West Virginia. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II as a dental assistant. He owned and operated a photography studio prior to graduating from West Virginia University and the Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. He married Johnnie Dorris on Nov. 10, 1950 in Fort Worth and moved to Ranger where he opened his dental practice in 1964. He was a member of the Mesquite and Rusk Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife of Ranger; four sons, Paul Riffle Jr. and Mark Riffle both of Ranger, Mitch Riffle of Eastland, and Michael Riffle of Austin; one daughter, Paula Castanuela of Eastland; four brothers, Mark Riffle of Santa Rosa, Calif., John Riffle of Culladen, W.Va., Jim Riffle of Grafton, W.Va., and Gene Riffle of Aliquippa, Pa.; and numerous grandchildren.

Mack Warren
HERMLEIGH - Mack Warren, 92, died Saturday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 6, at the Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home Chapel in Snyder. Burial will be in Pyron Cemetery.
Mr. Warren was born in Waxahachie. He was the widower of Mary Eunice Tramel, whom he married in 1924 in Navarro County. He later married Vinita Luttrell on Nov. 1, 1951 in Plains. He moved to Oklahoma in 1960. He was a farmer and worked in the oilfields.
Survivors include his wife of Hermleigh; seven daughters, Tracy Dickerhoff of Snyder, Gloria Glass of Odessa; Joyce Lionberger of Hermleigh, Martha McCoy of Churchtown, Pa., Connie Reed of Sweetwater, Billie Ruth Shingleton of Kerrville, and Marilyn Williams of Post; two sons, Robert "Bubba" Warren of Edmond, Okla. and Stan Warren of Virginia Beach, Va.; two sisters, Anice Gardner and Mary White both of Houston; one brother, Jim Warren of Kerns; 25 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 31 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. today and from 6-9 p.m. Monday, July 5, at the funeral home.

Henry Leon 'Hank' Hill
BROWNWOOD - Henry Leon "Hank" Hill, 79, died Friday in Little Rock, Ark.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, July 5, in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel in Early with the Rev. Richard Hetzel officiating. Burial will be in Eastlawn Memorial Park in Early.
Mr. Hill was born in Texas. He was the widower of Edna Mae Frisbe Hill, whom he married on July 4, 1942 in Hugo, Okla. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He moved to Brownwood from Oklahoma in 1946. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include two sons, Dennis Henry Hill of Little Rock, Ark. and Danny Leon Hill of Brownwood; one daughter, Polly Ann Davis of Little Rock, Ark.; one brother, Raymond Hill of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and one sister, Loreane Moore of Gustine.

Estelle Freshour
BROWNWOOD - Estelle Freshour, 78, died Friday in a local nursing home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, July 5, at the Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Brownwood with the Rev. Robert Cate officiating. Burial will be in Rocky Creek Cemetery.
Mrs. Freshour was born in Comanche County and had lived in Brownwood for several years. She was the widow of L.C. "Slim" Freshour, whom she married on May 26, 1953 in Henrietta. She was a homemaker and a member of the Rolling Acres Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Billye Bergeron of Mineral Wells, Penny Hoop of Mo., and Mary Price; one brother, Bob Cottrell of Abernathy; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Hugh Ronnie Lincoln
HAMLIN - Hugh Ronnie Lincoln, 55, died Saturday in an Abilene hospital.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 5, at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Tracy Watson officiating. Burial will be in Hamlin Memorial Cemetery, directed by Foster-Adams Funeral Home of Hamlin.
Mr. Lincoln was born in Salty and graduated from Thorndale High School in 1961. He married Shirley Long on Sept. 12, 1964 in Stamford. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was awarded the Bronze Star. He moved to Stamford in 1969, where he owned and operated Lincoln Trucking for 30 years. He was the Post Commander of the Hamlin Veterans of Foreign Wars 6014 at the time of his death. He had served for 18 years on the Hamlin Volunteer Fire Department.
Survivors include his wife of Hamlin; one son, Russell Hugh Lincoln of New Braunfels; one daughter, Sheila Martinez of Arlington; four brothers, Ernest Lincoln of Florence, Billy Lincoln of Rockdale, Elmore Lincoln of Thorndale, and Bobby Lincoln of Liberty Hill; three sisters, Janie Zercher of San Antonio, Shirley Benard of Austin, and Sue Simpson of Katy; and one grandchild.

W.J. 'Pete' Sudduth
WINTERS - W.J. "Pete" Sudduth, 77, died Saturday in a local nursing home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, July 5, in the Winters Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ed Bigham officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery.
Mr. Sudduth was born in Ballinger and had lived in the Winters area most of his life. He served in the Pacific and the European Theaters during World War II. He farmed and worked in the oil fields in the Winters area for many years, and also worked for Dry Manufacturing Company prior to retiring in 1985. He married Edna Mae McCaffety on May 30, 1974. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife of Winters; one daughter, Becky Drake of Winters; two stepdaughters, Patsy Page of Merkel and Joyce Choate of Abilene; two sisters, Emma Moore of Winters and Bobbie Bowman of Aspermont; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Bradshaw Baptist Church.

Mabel Hood Logan
COLLEYVILLE - Mabel Hood Logan, 101, died Friday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 12 p.m. Tuesday, July 6, at the Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Colleyville. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 7, in the Spade Cemetery in Mitchell County.
Mrs. Logan was born in Erath County and was raised in the Spade Community in Mitchell County. She received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Hardin Simmons University in Abilene, where she graduated magna cum laude in 1918. She taught school in the Oldham, Mitchell County and Howard County systems. She opened the first school lunchroom in Coahoma. She was the widow of B.F. "Frank" Logan, whom she married in 1922. She was a Masonic Eastern Star.
Survivors include three sons, Benjamin Franklin Logan Jr., Russell Hood Logan, and Samuel Howard Logan; one daughter, Mary Lee Peterson; one sister, Minnie Lee Moore; 16 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and other relatives.
Visitation will be Monday, July 5, from 6-8 p.m. at the Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home in Colleyville and at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 7, at Kiker-Seale Funeral Home in Colorado City.

Jane Eubank Tedford
HIDE-A-WAY LAKE - Jane Eubank Tedford died Friday at her residence.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 6, at the Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Home Chapel in Lindale. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. at Restland Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Tedford was a 30-year resident of Garland, where she was a member of the First Methodist Church and on the Board of Directors of Automatic Products Corporation, which she and her husband founded in 1957.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Charles E. Tedford of the home; one son, Gary Tedford of Garland; one daughter, Judy Deaton of Abilene; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
