Cecil Franz Coffey
BROWNWOOD - Cecil Franz Coffey, 84, died Thursday at his home after a lengthy illness.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in Zephyr Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Galloway officiating, directed by Davis-Morris Funeral Home.
Mr. Coffey was born in Brown County and married Alice Cleo Jacobs in 1954 in Brownwood. He worked as a house mover.
Survivors include his wife, of Brownwood; two sons, Charles Coffey of Early and Otis Coffey of Saginaw; two daughters, Frances Edmondson of Zephyr and Patricia Hester of Big Lake; four sisters, Alla Ray Lyons and Adelene Neislars, both of San Antonio, Mary Jo Allcorn of Brownwood and Bonnie Priddy of Austin; one brother, Toss Coffey of Zephyr; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Fred Sam Snowdon
COLORADO CITY - Fred Sam Snowdon, 63, of Rankin and formerly of Colorado City, died Thursday in a Rankin hospital.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in Colorado City Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Payson officiating, directed by Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Mr. Snowdon was born in Colorado City and was a U.S. Navy veteran. He worked in the oil field.
Survivors include one daughter, Leah Smith of Colorado City; one son, Joe Snowdon of Hollywood, Calif.; one brother, Ed Snowdon Jr. of Stanton; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Lena Quigley
BROWNWOOD - Lena Quigley, 91, died Wednesday in a local hospital.
Graveside services were held Friday in Memory Gardens in Hobbs, N.M., with the Rev. Jake Armstrong officiating, directed by Davis-Morris Funeral Home.
Mrs. Quigley was born in Mena, Ark., and married Rex Quigley in 1923 in Hominy, Okla. She was a homemaker and lived in Hobbs, N.M. from 1934-64. She moved to Brownwood in 1988 and was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Hobbs, N.M.
Survivors include her husband, of Brownwood; one daughter, Colleen E. McClellan of Brownwood; two sons, Rex G. Quigley of Charleston, S.C., and Ron L. Quigley of Atlanta; one sister, Rena Edwards of Port Arthur; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Gene Diddle
SWEETWATER - Gene Diddle, 74, employed by Mobil Oil Co. for 25 years before retiring, died Thursday in an Abilene hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in McCoy Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Burial will be in Sweetwater Cemetery.
Mr. Diddle was born in Moody and married Billie Jessee in 1944 in Sweetwater. He moved to Sweetwater in 1944 and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, of Sweetwater; one son, Craig Diddle of Sweetwater; two daughters, Brenda Durrett of Mesquite and Celia Gaither of Lubbock; one brother, Bill Diddle of Onalaska; three sisters, Kate Folk and Wanda Meacham, both of Fairfield, and Jerri Flint of Madill, Okla.; and one grandchild.

Glynn Westerman Harrison
BANGS - Glynn Westerman Harrison, 70, died Wednesday in an Abilene hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Eastlawn Memorial Park in Brownwood with the Rev. Jimmy Allen officiating, directed by Bangs Funeral Home.
Ms. Harrison was born in Eastman, Okla., and moved to Bangs in 1964. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include three daughters, Comella Camp McDorman of Early, Mary Camp Boyter of Dallas and Karen George Doan of Bryan; four sons, Royce Camp of Early, Roger Camp of Brownwood, Danny Camp of Gainsville and Charles Camp of Valley View; one sister, Melba Taylor of Gainsville; 21 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Ann Randle Davis
COLORADO CITY - Ann Randle Davis, 63, died Friday in a Lubbock hospital.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday in Colorado City First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Howard Quiett officiating. Burial will be in Colorado City Cemetery, directed by Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Ms. Davis was born in Mitchell County and worked as a secretary. She returned to Colorado City in 1983 and was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Jill Gallagher of Clovis, N.M.; one son, Randle Davis of Trophy Club; her mother, Josie Randle of Colorado City; and two grandchildren.

John Hall Corbin
BROWNWOOD - John Hall Corbin, 89, of Lubbock and formerly of Lake Brownwood, died Thursday in a Lubbock hospital.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today in Rocky Creek Baptist Church in Brown County with the Revs. D.L. Lowrie and Mark Bryant officiating. Burial will be in Rocky Creek Baptist Cemetery, directed by Davis-Morris Funeral Home.
Mr. Corbin was born in Guymon, Okla., and owned a car dealership in Denver City for several years before retiring in 1970. He was a deacon at Rocky Creek Baptist Church and moved to Lubbock in 1991. He was a member of Lubbock First Baptist Church at the time of his death and was the widower of Juanita Webb Corbin, whom he married in 1934 in Lovington, N.M.
Survivors include one son, Webb Corbin of Lubbock; one daughter, Sandra Ivie of Lubbock; one sister, Mary Moody of Lubbock; one brother, Billy Corbin of Lamesa; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Memorials may be sent to Rocky Creek Cemetery.

Oscar Ratliff
ROBY - Oscar P. Ratliff, 90, of Wink, died Thursday in a Kermit hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Roby Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Kennedy officiating, directed by Weathersbee Funeral Home of Rotan.
Mr. Ratliff was born in Falls County and was a longtime Wink resident. He worked in the oil field before retiring and was a Baptist.
Survivors include one sister, Ima Lee Fleet of Nacogdoches; and many nieces and nephews.

Winnie Mae Killingsworth
BROWNWOOD - Winnie Mae Killingsworth, 88, died Thursday in a local hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Eastlawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Jay Swoveland officiating, directed by Davis-Morris Funeral Home.
Mrs. Killingsworth was born in Hereford and moved to Brown County in 1965. She was a retired bank teller. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was the widow of Vester Killingsworth, whom she married in 1933 in Kenedy.
Survivors include one brother, Rupert Stimson of Memphis, Tenn.; and many nieces and nephews.
