Bernice Chambers
KNOX CITY - Bernice Chambers, 82, died Sunday at her home.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Foursquare Church of Knox City with the Rev. Dan Cimitone and Roy Herricks officiating. Burial will be in Rochester Cemetery, directed by Smith Funeral Home.
Mrs. Chambers was a homemaker and was associated with the Foursquare Church. She married Jack Chambers in 1942 in Donna.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Paul Chambers of O'Brien and Jerry Chambers of Nashville, Tenn.; four sisters, Eula Turner and Vesta Wisenbaker, both of Weslaco, Juanita Bevel of Haskell and Sylvia Mudd of Renton, Wash.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Calvin Nazworth
ROBY - Calvin Nazworth, 58, of Huntsville, Ala., died Tuesday at his home.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Patterson officiating. The body was cremated.
Mr. Nazworth was a 25-year veteran of the Army and Navy and was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Lee Mauldin Nazworth (daughter of a Roby man) of Huntsville, Ala.; two daughters, Kelly Nazworth of Huntsville, Ala., and Kathy Nazworth of Houston; three sons, Kalin Lee Nazworth of Houston and Collin Roy Nazworth and Jeff Nazworth, both of Fredericksburg, Va.; and one granddaughter.

Gladys Craig
ANSON - Gladys Craig, 82, died Friday in Stamford.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Church of Christ with Pete Lollar officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, directed by Lawrence-Adams Funeral Home.
Mrs. Craig was born in De Leon and had lived in Anson for 65 years. She worked in the Anson school lunchroom for a number of years and was a member of the Church of Christ. She married "Gid" Craig in 1935; he preceded her in death.
Survivors include one brother, J.M. Stinnett of San Angelo; and many nieces and nephews.

Odyne Stinnett
ANSON - Odyne Stinnett, 72, died Friday in Stamford.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Pete Lollar and the Rev. Jeff Fenwick officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, directed by Lawrence-Adams Funeral Home.
Mrs. Stinnett was born in Bronte, attended Anson schools and was a longtime resident of Anson. She worked in the school lunchroom for 20 years and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She married Sid Stinnett in 1947; he preceded her in death.
Survivors include four sons, Dan Stinnett, Rod Stinnett, Larry Stinnett and Alan Stinnett, all of Henderson, Nev.; one daughter, Mary Spraberry of Anson; one brother, Earl Spencer of Anson; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Hubert Freeman
CROSS PLAINS - Hubert C. Freeman, 92, died Sunday at a local nursing home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Higginbotham Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Cross Plains Cemetery.
Mr. Freeman was born in Callahan County and was a self-employed welder and blacksmith. He married Helen Gray in 1940 in Clyde.
Survivors include his wife, of Cross Plains; one son, Jim Freeman of Childress; two daughters, Mickey Bush of Houston and Peggy Johnson of Windslow, Ariz.; five granddaughters and six great-grandchildren.

Michael Scott White
Michael Scott White, infant son of Neil and Pamela White of Abilene, died Sunday at a local hospital.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in Elliott-Hamil Garden of Memories with the Rev. David Cason officiating, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 5701 U.S. Hwy. 277 South.
Michael was born Sunday.
Survivors include his parents; one brother, David James Moore of Abilene; grandparents Jerry and Eva White of Seagraves and Gene and Glenda Gartman of Abilene; and great-grandparents Jerry and Ann White of Abilene, Bill Bryan of Eula and Bonnie Snyder of Cisco.

Jean Ann Fernandez
Jean Ann Fernandez, 43, of Abilene died Monday at a local hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in City Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Hernandez officiating, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Templo La Hermosa, 2073 Graham.
Mrs. Fernandez was born in Chattanooga, Tenn., and moved to Abilene 20 years ago from Sumter, S.C. She was a member of Templo La Hermosa.
Survivors include her husband, Bill Fernandez of Abilene; two sons, John George of Abilene and Joel Price of Columbia, S.C.; one sister, Mrs. Vancherro of Trenton, N.J.; and two grandchildren.

Ardonia Florene Ammons Larned.
HASKELL - Ardonia Florene Ammons Larned, 62, died Sunday at an Abilene hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at First Baptist Church with Dr. Troy Culpepper and the Rev. Jim Tucker officiating, directed by Holden-McCauley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Larned was born in Haskell and was a licensed vocational nurse for many years. She graduated from Haskell High School and Midwestern State University. She was a volunteer for the American Cancer Society. She married Norval Joe Larned in 1954 in Haskell.
Survivors include her husband, of Haskell; one son, Kendall Joe Larned of Chicago, Ill.; one sister, Jean Stanley of Dalhart; one brother, Ralph Ammons of Amarillo; and several nephews and nieces.

Valda Roch Larson
STAMFORD - Valda Roch Larson, 82, died Sunday at a local hospital.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Bethel Lutheran Church in Ericksdahl with the Rev. Kent Wallace officiating. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. today in De Leon Cemetery in De Leon, directed by Kinney Funeral Home.
Mrs. Larson was born in Proctor and moved to Ericksdahl in 1944 from Houston. She moved to Stamford in 1988. She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church and past president of Lutheran Church Women and Willing Workers. She was a member and past president of Pierian Club, Stamford Garden Club and Woman's Forum of Stamford. She married Luther Larson in 1935 in De Leon; he preceded her in death.
Survivors include one sister, Vance Mitchell of Temple; one brother, J.D. Roch of Waco; one brother, Guy Roch of Temple; and several nieces and nephews.
