Reba Dinsmore Wheatley
HASKELL - Reba Dinsmore Wheatley, 87, died Tuesday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Haskell First Baptist Church with the Rev. Truett Kuenstler and Dr. Troy Culpepper officiating. Burial will be in Willow Cemetery, directed by Holden-McCauley Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Wheatley was born in Haskell and was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church and was the widow of Marvin Wheatley, whom she married in 1927 in Haskell.
Survivors include one son, Johnny Wheatley of Haskell; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Norman Cluck
BIG SPRING - Norman Cluck, 73, of Ackerly and formerly of the Big Country, died Tuesday at his home.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Ackerly Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Moore officiating. Burial will be in Ackerly Cemetery, directed by Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.
Mr. Cluck was born in Haskell County and married Opal Bristow in 1942 in Old Glory. He moved to Ackerly in 1942 from Rule and was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He farmed until retiring in 1981 and was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, of Ackerly; one son, Benny Cluck of Vincent; one sister, Norlyne Gray of Cleburne; one brother, Alfred Cluck of Redwood City, Calif.; three grandchildren; one step grandchild; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Barbara Hardwick
Barbara R. Hardwick, 73, died Saturday in a local hospital.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Greenwood Cemetery in Montgomery, Ala. with the Rev. Billy Duncan officiating. Local arrangements were made by Allen-Korzenewski Funeral Home, 1443 N. 2nd.
Mrs. Hardwick was born in Ashford, Kent, England, and married Roy Mack Hardwick in 1944 in St. Anne's, England. She retired in 1980 as a registrar for Troy State University in Montgomery, Ala., and moved to Abilene in 1992.
Survivors include two daughters, Jamie Villegas and Jill Hero, both of Abilene; two sons, Maurice Hardwick of Atlanta and Renny Hardwick of Bacliff; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Jack Stephens
Jack Stephens, 72, of Belton and formerly of Abilene, died Wednesday in a Temple hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Faith, 5701 U.S. Hwy 277 South, with the Rev. Garland Wallace officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Memorial Park.
Mr. Stephens was born in Crockett, where he attended school. He married Pearl Lambright in 1946 in Livingston, and moved to the Abilene area in 1947 from Crockett. He was a retired farmer and moved to Belton in 1995 from Abilene. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Belton.
Survivors include his wife, of Belton; two sons, Joseph Dean Stephens of Merkel and Frederick David Stephens of Sweet Home, Ore.; one daughter, Karen Walton of Lufkin; three sisters, Ruby Ginsel of Marque, Bessie Lambright of Conroe and Virginia Roark of Houston; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Linda Sue Oregon
Linda Sue Oregon, 31, of Phoenix, Ariz., died Monday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Allen-Korzenewski Funeral Home Chapel, 1443 N. 2nd, with the Rev. David Chandler officiating. Burial will be in Elliott-Hamil Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Ms. Oregon was born in Cherry Point, N.C., and grew up in Arizona. She lived in Phoenix, Ariz. since 1985 and worked as a secretary for a computer company. She moved to Abilene two weeks ago.
Survivors include one daughter, Tana Oregon of Abilene; one son, Terrence Oregon of Abilene; her mother and stepfather, Jane and Burt Cutshaw of Abilene; one sister, Cindy Daniels; and her maternal grandmother, Alice Binns of Pennsylvania.
Visitation will be from 6-7:30 p.m. today in the funeral home.

ALBANY - Kaylee Dawn Durilla, 3-1/2, died Wednesday at her home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Albany First Baptist Church with the Revs. Bruce Stovall, John Tunnell and Don Clevenger officiating. Burial will be in Albany Cemetery, directed by Godfrey-Neese Funeral Home.
Kaylee was born in Breckenridge and attended Friendship Baptist Church.
Survivors include her parents, Vickie Gore Durilla and Frank Durilla of Albany; one brother, Chad Nia of Albany; her grandparents, Frank and Hangie Durilla of Florida; her step-grandfather, Arthur Lowrey of Abilene; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Effie Richburg Watkins Wheeler
LORAINE - Effie Richburg Watkins Wheeler, 85, died Wednesday in a Colorado City nursing home.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday in Loraine First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Glenda Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Loraine Cemetery, directed by Kiker-Seale Funeral Home of Colorado City.
Mrs. Wheeler was born in Loraine and was a homemaker. She worked as a metalurgical accountant for Phelps-Dodge Copper Corp. for 20 years and was active with Loraine Senior Citizens. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and was the widow of James Watkins and Raymond Wheeler.
Survivors include two daughters, Jimmie Jacks of Loraine and Beverly Nichols of Overland Park, Kan.; two stepdaughters, Trudy Richburg of Abilene and Wanda Montgomery of Euless; five sisters, Blanche Pendergrass of Temple City, Calif., Nola Taylor of Loraine, Opal Wilson of Tulsa, Okla., Marie Adrian of Petersburg and Oma Herm of Ackerly; two brothers, Lester Richburg of Hart and J.C. Richburg of Tuscola; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Geneva Jo Maberry
MCCAULLEY - Geneva Jo Maberry, 75, died Thursday in an Abilene hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in McCaulley United Methodist Church with Norman Pond and the Revs. Jeff Sedberry and Sue Rowlett officiating. Burial will be in McCaulley Cemetery, directed by Foster-Adams Funeral Home of Hamlin.
Mrs. Maberry was born in McCaulley and lived most of her life in the Trent and McCaulley areas. She graduated from Hamlin High School in 1938 and McMurry College, and married Albert Maberry in 1939 in Westbrook. She was a music and elementary school teacher in Trent, Roby and McCaulley. She retired from the Roby school system in 1981 and was a member of the Sweetwater chapter of the Retired Teachers Association and the Fisher County Historical Society. She also was a pianist and a member of United Methodist Women at McCaulley United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, of McCaulley; one daughter, Peggy Jo Ross of Andrews; three sons, Albert A. Maberry Jr. of Hawley, Arthur Maberry of Sweetwater and Gordon Maberry of Weatherford; one brother, Clinton Maberry of Duncanville; three sisters, Faye Andress of Hamlin, Laverne Teague of San Angelo and Sue Smith of McCaulley; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Roylynn Neal
BROWNWOOD - Roylynn Neal, 79, lifelong local resident, died Thursday at her home after a lengthy illness.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard Hetzel officiating. Burial will be in Eastlawn Memorial Park.
Mrs. Neal was born in Osborne, Kan., and was a homemaker. She was a member of First Christian Church and was the widow of J.W. Neal, whom she married in 1972 in Brownwood.
Survivors include two sons, Gary Yazell and Phillip Yazell, both of Brownwood; one stepson, David Neal of Chandler, Ariz.; one brother, Leland Thompson of Santa Anna; one sister, Ethel Kesler of Bangs; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Edith Clara Fox
MERKEL - Edith Clara Fox, 93, of San Antonio and formerly of Merkel, died Wednesday in San Antonio.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Starbuck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Kenneth F. Jones and Jimmy Griffith officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Fox was born in Jones County and was a homemaker. She worked at Merkel Drug for many years. She was a member of University Baptist Church in San Antonio and was the widow of Ollie Fox, whom she married in 1922 in Noodle.
Survivors include one daughter, Euvalda Walker Duncan of San Antonio; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
