Howard Durham
ALBANY - Howard T. Durham, 79, water flood operator for Marshall R. Young Oil Co. for 33 years, died Thursday in an Abilene hospital.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in First Christian Church with the Rev. David Mallory officiating. Burial will be in Albany Cemetery, directed by Godfrey-Neese Funeral Home.
Mr. Durham was born in Albany and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of First Christian Church and was the widower of Grey Delle Whetstone Durham, whom he married in 1940 in Throckmorton.
Survivors include one son, Harold E. Durham of Fort Stockton; three daughters, Janice Evers of Cleburne, Laura Yockey of Phoenix, Ariz., and Nancy Cooke of Weatherford; one sister, Annie Kathryn Nobles of Albany; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Brenda Sue Jordan
Brenda Sue Jordan, 51, died Friday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 542 Hickory, with Carlton Earp officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery in Anson.
Mrs. Jordan was born in Abilene and attended school in Hawley. She was a homemaker and was a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband, Lloyd Jordan of Abilene; one son, Roy Smith of Abilene; four daughters, Cindy Davis, Reba Finch and Brandy Jordan, all of Abilene, and Renee Treadwell of Tye; four stepsons, Jimmy Jordan, Billy Jordan, Jerry Jordan and Joe Jordan, all of Fort Worth; one stepdaughter, Tracy Downs of Fort Worth; her mother, Dessie Ray of Hawley; one brother, Alvin Ray of Hawley; and 19 grandchildren.

Paul Gene Moore
Paul Gene Moore, 46, lifelong Abilene resident, died Saturday at his home.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday in Southern Hills Church of Christ with John Risse and Doug Hall officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Memorial Park, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 5701 U.S. Hwy 277 South.
Mr. Moore was born in Abilene and graduated from Cooper High School in 1968 and Tyler Junior College in 1970. He married Sherry Lynn Gray in 1970 in Tyler and had been working as a general contractor with Epic Construction Co. since 1984. He was a member of Abilene Jaycees, Motorcycle and Bicycle Club of Abilene and Southern Hills Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, of Abilene; two daughters, Melody Parker and Marisa Moore, both of Abilene; his parents, George and Martha Moore of Abilene; two sisters, Carole Hall of Kingston, Tenn., and Robbie Burleson of Abilene; and several nieces and nephews.

Myrtle Lee Anderson
LAMESA - Myrtle Lee Anderson, 88, formerly of Abilene, died Saturday in a local nursing home.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Monday in Elmwood Memorial Park in Abilene with the Rev. Curtis Williams officiating, directed by Branon Funeral Home.
Mrs. Anderson was born in Stamford and lived most of her life in Abilene. She was the widow of Ralph Anderson, whom she married in 1945 in San Antonio.
Survivors include two brothers, A.B. Cohorn and J.V. Cohorn, both of Lamesa.

Anton 'Tony' White
CISCO - Anton "Tony" White, 84, longtime civic leader, died Friday at his home.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today in Chambers-Wilcox Funeral Directors Chapel. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Cisco with the Rev. Dale Edwards officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Mr. White was born in Loup City, Neb., and moved to Illinois in 1925. He married Clara Standaert in 1939 in Kewanee, Ill., and worked for Boss Glove Co. in Kewanee until being transferred to Breckenridge in 1945 as a plant manager. He later managed the Boss Glove plant in Cisco until retiring in 1975. He was president of the Cisco Cemetery Association for 20 years and also was president of the Cisco Chamber of Commerce. He was an area director of the West Texas Chamber of Commerce for several years and a director of Texas Manufacturers Association. He was a longtime regent of Cisco Junior College, and was secretary of the Rotary Club for 18 years. He also was a past president of the Rotary Club and was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, of Cisco; one son, Dr. Fred White of Hemet, Calif.; one daughter, Janice Copenhaver of Odem; one brother, Joseph White of Hawaii; two sisters, Ann Evan of Milwaukee and Helen Sterling of Arizona; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Robert Hall
BANGS - Robert H. Hall, 77, died Saturday in a local nursing home.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Mukewater Cemetery, directed by Heartland Funeral Home of Early.
Mr. Hall was born in Marion, N.C., and married Louise Lobb in 1959 in Oklahoma. He moved to Bangs in 1973 from Dallas and was a retired truck driver. He was a member of New Testament Holiness Church.
Survivors include his wife, of Bangs; one daughter, Patricia Davis of Salsbury, Okla.; three stepsons, William Mason of Durant, Okla., and Freddie Mason and Mickey Mason, both of Bangs; three stepdaughters, Jane Jolliff of Tulsa, Okla., Margie Powell of Durant, Okla., and Vickie Dickson of Dallas; one brother, Lee Hall of Seattle; one sister, Edith Saricks of Ormond Beach, Fla.; one grandchild; 15 step grandchildren; and five step great-grandchildren.

Joyce Bowman
COLEMAN - Joyce F. Bowman, 67, died Saturday in a Brownwood hospital.
The body will be cremated and memorial services will be held at a later date in Elizabeth, Ky. Arrangements were made by Stevens Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bowman was born in Kentucky, where she attended school, and married Joseph Bowman in 1950 in Rosville, Ga. She lived in Indianapolis for many years, where she worked as a cashier for Kroger's. She moved to Coleman in 1993 and attended Central Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, of Coleman; six sons, James D. Sammons, Joseph R. Bowman, Harry H. Bowman and Michael B. Bowman, all of Indianapolis, and Richard C. Bowman and Marshall Bowman, both of Coleman; 15 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Mary Edna Turner
Mary Edna Turner, 89, lifelong Taylor County resident, died Saturday in a Wichita Falls hospital.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in IOOF Cemetery, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory.
Miss Turner was born in Turner's Chapel in Taylor County and graduated from Abilene High School in 1925, Hardin-Simmons University in 1929 and Texas Tech University in 1934. She worked as an office manager for optometrist O.B. Stanley for 20 years and a librarian for the Hendrick Medical Center Meek School of Nursing for 18 years before retiring in 1975. She was formerly active in the Retired Senior Volunteer Program and was a past president of the Abilene chapter of Business and Professional Women's Club. She was a member of Cora Posey Chapter 1072, Order of the Eastern Star; Retired Teachers Association and First Baptist Church. She was a volunteer at the church's Family Life Center and was active in the LLL Club.
Survivors include one sister, Ruby Turner Gatlin of Wichita Falls; and two nieces and one nephew.
