Rayburn White
Rayburn White, 50, died Tuesday at his home.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Dunn Cemetery near Snyder, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. in St. Paul United Methodist Church with the Revs. Archie Echols and Kathryn Boren officiating.
Mr. White was born in Snyder, where he graduated from high school, and served three tours with the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He married Penny Gray in 1983 in Abilene and was self-employed in the oil industry. He was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, of Abilene; one stepson, David Lane of Abilene; one stepdaughter, Kim Montana of Irving; two sisters, Loeitta Buckley of Porter and Glenda Jones of Wolfforth; and five step grandchildren.

John Robert Bailey Jr.
John Robert Bailey Jr., 81, of Allen and formerly of Jones County, died Tuesday in a Plano hospital after a long illness.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 542 Hickory, with J.C. Bailey, Glenn Bailey and Larry Bailey officiating. Burial will be in Fort Phantom Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Bailey was born in Nugent in Jones County and farmed and ranched in the Nugent area for many years. He served with the U.S. Army's Corps of Engineers in the European Theater during World War II and married Mamie Frances Long in 1946. He lived in the Lamesa-Klondike area from 1933-67. He then moved to Winnsboro, where he owned and operated a lumberyard until moving to Hamilton in 1969. He then managed W.F. & J.F. Barnes Lumber Co. until retiring in 1983. He was a former mayor pro-tem of Hamilton and was active with the Hamilton United Care Program. He moved to Allen in 1996 and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, of Allen; five sons, J.C. Bailey of Fort Worth, Glenn Bailey of Abilene, Larry Bailey of Wewoka, Okla., Kenny Bailey of Marble Falls and Timothy Bailey of Garland; one daughter, Debbie Demblowski of Allen; and 14 grandchildren.

Carl Kile
CISCO - Carl Kile, 88, died Monday in a local nursing home.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Kimbrough Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joe Philpott officiating. Burial will be in Scranton Cemetery.
Mr. Kile was born in Dothan and married Melba Ruth Bailey in 1928 in Mitchell, Texas. He owned Kile's Old West Antiques and was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, of Cisco; one son, Jerry D. Kile of Weatherford; one daughter, Sue Carole Kinsey of Abilene; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Virgil Ervin Terry
GOLDTHWAITE - Virgil Ervin Terry, 91, died Sunday in a local nursing home.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home Chapel with James Ellis officiating. Burial will be in Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Terry was born in San Saba County and married Trula Adams in 1932 in Trigger Mountain in Mills County. He was a retired highway department employee and was a Baptist.
Survivors include one son, Virgil Doyle Terry of Abilene; one daughter, Terry "Nelda" Hawkins of Goldthwaite; one sister, Georgia Spinks of Zephyr; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Robert Lee Moore
CLYDE - Robert Lee Moore, 83, died Monday in a Baird nursing home.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jack Willoughby officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery in Abilene.
Mr. Moore was born in Rising Star and moved to Abilene in the 1930s. He was employed by the Works Progress Administration during the Depression and worked for the city of Abilene in its street department as a heavy equipment operator for more than 25 years. He later moved to Clyde and operated Moore Trash Service for 12 years. He was the widower of Lela Rumbo Moore, whom he married in 1932 in Abilene.
Survivors include one son, Billie Lee Moore of Clyde; two daughters, Martha Davis and Mary Handy, both of Clyde; one sister, Eunice Human of Burnet; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Wyone Jameson
COLORADO CITY - Wyone Jameson, 74, died Monday in Bangs.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Kiker-Seale Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ted Spear officiating. Burial will be in Colorado City Cemetery.
Mrs. Jameson was born in Glen Cove and moved to Colorado City in 1923. She was a rancher and was a homemaker. She was a life member of the Congress of Parents and Teachers, and also was a member of Daughters of the Nile Temple 100; Chapter 58, Order of the Eastern Star; and Business and Professional Women's Association. She was the widow of Myrle Jameson, whom she married in 1938 in Colorado City.
Survivors include one son, Jerry Jameson of Early; two sisters, Betty Gassiot of San Angelo and Ruth Clifton of Abilene; three brothers, Billy Colley of Ira, Bob Colley of Big Spring and Leon Colley of Houston; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

James 'Jim' Turner
BROWNWOOD - James H. "Jim" Turner, 68, died Monday in a local hospital.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Rocky Creek Cemetery with Ruben Packer officiating, directed by Heartland Funeral Home of Early.
Mr. Turner was born in Brownwood and worked as a mechanic. He was a life member of Blind Veterans Association in Washington, D.C., and also was a member of American Legion Post 308 in Bangs and Victory Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Annie VanHuss Turner of Brownwood; two sons, Michael James Turner and Donald Turner, both of Brownwood; four daughters, Deborah Williams of Pensacola, Fla., Betty Reynolds of Jacksonville, Fla., and Donna Pope and Paula Prickett, both of Brownwood; one brother, B.Y. Turner of Rosamond, Calif.; 20 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; several cousins; and two nieces.
Memorials may be sent to Blind Veterans Association in Washington, D.C.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Elizabeth Ann Pike
BANGS - Elizabeth Ann (Mrs. Robert Bruce) Pike, 79, of San Angelo and formerly of Bangs, died Sunday in San Angelo.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Brownwood with the Rev. Jimmy Allen officiating. Burial will be in Bangs Cemetery.
Mrs. Pike was born in Brown County and was a homemaker. She lived in Bangs for many years before moving to San Angelo. She was a member of Bangs First Baptist Church and was the widow of Robert Bruce Pike, whom she married in 1934.
Survivors include one daughter, Glenda Jayne Hibbard of San Angelo; one son, Bruce O. Pike of North Carolina; two grandchildren; and one niece.
Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.

Miley Mae Geer Flowers
BROWNWOOD - Miley Mae Geer Flowers, 70, died April 13 in Brownwood.
Memorial graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Eastlawn Memorial Park, directed by Heartland Funeral Home of Early.
Mrs. Flowers was born in Keller and attended school in San Anna and Cameron. She also attended Howard Payne University. She worked in the food service industry and was the widow of Melvin Flowers.
Survivors include one son, James E. Flowers of Houston; one daughter, Karen Aycox of Brownwood; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
