Ruth Neola Lesly Copeland
Ruth Neola Lesly Copeland, 79, of Colorado City and formerly of Hawley, died Thursday in a Lubbock hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Hawley Baptist Church with Ronnie Hendon and T.E. Hiser officiating. Burial will be in Hawley Cemetery, directed by North's Funeral Home, 242 Orange.
Mrs. Copeland was born in Paducah and lived in Hawley for 30 years. She formerly worked as a housekeeper at Abilene Christian University and moved to Colorado City in 1994. She was a member of Hawley Baptist Church and was the widow of B.J. Copeland, whom she married in 1931 in Crosby County.
Survivors include five sons, Tommy Copeland of Colorado City, Melvin Copeland of O'Donnell, Bob Copeland of Tahoka, Pat Copeland of Tucson, Ariz., and Jerry Copeland of Ranger; one brother, Wilbur Lesly of Houston; 18 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Willie Mae Henry
Willie Mae Henry, 84, of Hawley, died Thursday in a local nursing home.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today in Moran Cemetery with Glen Dods officiating, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory.
Mrs. Henry was born in Cottonwood in Callahan County and attended nursing school in Olney. She lived in Moran and Graham before moving to Hawley in 1973 and was a retired licensed vocational nurse. She was a homemaker and was active with the Hawley Senior Citizens Group and Volunteers Program. She was a member of Hawley Church of Christ and was the widow of John Thomas Henry, whom she married in 1929 in Eastland.
Survivors include two sons, Don C. Henry of Abilene and John R. Henry of Plano; two daughters, Delores Hamilton of Albany and Yolanda Reynolds of Edmond, Okla.; one sister, Gladys Cox of Stamford; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Sarah Fay Key
Sarah Fay Key, 87, of Potosi, died Thursday in a local hospital.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. today in Potosi Cemetery with the Rev. H.B. Terry officiating, directed by Allen-Korzenewski Funeral Home, 1443 N. 2nd.
Miss Key was born in Potosi and graduated from Hardin-Simmons University. She taught school in Shep and Lismon and was a member of Potosi Baptist Church.
Survivors include two brothers, Floy Key of Abilene and Horace Max Key of Potosi; one sister, Hattie Bell Jones of Sacramento, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.

Audrey Brunson
LONGVIEW - Audrey M. Brunson, 85, formerly of Abilene, died Friday.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Greggton First Baptist Church in Longview, directed by Lakeview Funeral Home.
Mrs. Brunson was born in Irving and was a homemaker. She lived in Abilene for six years, during which time she was active with the senior adult ministry at Pioneer Drive Baptist Church. She was the widow of Augusta A. "Gus" Brunson, whom she married in 1932.
Survivors include four daughters, Mary Jo Coates of Plainview, Dorothy Nash of Burleson, Carolyn Vardeman of Waco and Wynell Ogden of Seabrook; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Esther Frances Latson
EASTLAND - Esther Frances Latson, 85, of Abilene, died Friday in an Abilene hospital.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Daugherty Street Church of Christ with Jim Cox and Ted Kell officiating. Burial will be in Eastland Cemetery, directed by Edwards Funeral Home.
Mrs. Latson was born in Sherman and graduated from high school in Quitaque. She married Arthur C. Latson in 1934 in Lamesa and lived in Brownwood, Big Spring and Breckenridge. She taught ladies' Bible classes and was a member of Elliott Street Church of Christ in Breckenridge.
Survivors include her husband, of Abilene; one daughter, Rhama C. Maxwell of Abilene; one son, Larry N. Latson of Nashville, Tenn.; two brothers, Maurice Brown of Lamesa and Allan Brown of Multin, Ala.; one sister, Wilda Boydston of Brownwood; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

W.H. Williamson
SWEETWATER - W.H. Williamson, 67, employed by U.S. Gypsum for 30 years until retiring in 1978, died Friday in an Abilene hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Lamar Street Baptist Church with the Revs. Orvel Brantley and Keith Clifton officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Merkel, directed by McCoy Funeral Home.
Mr. Williamson was born in Rotan and married Doris Cooper in 1948 in Merkel. He moved to Sweetwater in 1950 and was a member of Lamar Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, of Sweetwater; one daughter, Debra Thompson of Abilene; one son, Randy Williamson of Merkel; one brother, Kelton Williamson of Sweetwater; one sister, Joyce Hopper of Snyder; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Robert Moore Jr.
BROWNWOOD - Robert Moore Jr., 75, died Thursday in Austin.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Eastlawn Memorial Park.
Mr. Moore was born in Venus in Johnson County, where he graduated from high school. He attended Howard-Payne University and while in college, had the patriotic poem "I Am An American" recognized in 1942 with a proclamation by the Texas Senate. He was a journalist for more than 35 years and formerly was editor and publisher of weekly newspapers in Amarillo, Vega and Joshua. He also was editor of The Odessa American, Pecos Enterprise, Sweetwater Reporter, Cuero Daily Record and Eastland Daily Telegram. He moved to Brownwood recently from Killeen.
Survivors include one brother, Sam Moore of Harker Heights; three sisters, Sue Hunter and Judy Moore, both of Brownwood, and Bettie Girling of Austin; and many nephews and nieces.

Laura Dell Tinsley
STAMFORD - Laura Dell Tinsley, 93, of Fort Worth and formerly of Stamford, died Thursday at her son's home in Fort Worth.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Stamford First Baptist Church with the Rev. Bruce Lampert officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery, directed by Kinney Funeral Home.
Mrs. Tinsley was born in Stamford to Stamford-area pioneers and attended school in Stamford and Mary Hardin-Baylor University. She worked as a receptionist for 15 years for Dr. C.L. Cromwell and was a volunteer with elderly citizens and nursing home residents. She was named Woman of the Year in 1985 by the Stamford Chamber of Commerce. She was a member of Stamford First Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school for more than 20 years and was an Adult Sunday School Department secretary, and was the widow of T.R. Tinsley, whom she married in 1924 in Stamford.
Survivors include one son, Robert J. Tinsley of Fort Worth; one daughter, Peggy Harvey of Yorba Linda, Calif.; and six grandchildren.

Marie Letcher
BIG SPRING - Marie Letcher, 78, died Thursday at her home after a long illness.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today in Colorado City Cemetery with the Rev. Gary Groves officiating, directed by Myers & Smith Funeral Home.
Mrs. Letcher was born in Loraine and was a homemaker. She was a member of First Christian Church and was the widow of John Harold Letcher, whom she married in 1936.
Survivors include one son, Ron Letcher of Big Spring; one daughter, Carol Ann McMahon of San Angelo; one brother, Tom Allen Davis of Aransas Pass; one sister, Joy Holstead of Louisiana; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Ruth McGinnis
Ruth McGinnis, 93, licensed vocational nurse at the Abilene State School for 25 years until retiring, died Saturday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 542 Hickory, with the Revs. H.B. Terry and Rodney Watson officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Memorial Park.
Mrs. McGinnis was born in Edgewood and moved to Abilene in 1924. She was a member of Lytle South Baptist Church and was the widow of Johnny Murl McGinnis, whom she married in 1926 in Abilene.
Survivors include one daughter, Shirley Ann Oates of Abilene; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
