Justin Peaceful Reeves
Justin Peaceful Reeves, infant son of Jim and Beth Reeves of Abilene, died Thursday in a local hospital.
Private graveside services will be held today in Elliott-Hamil Garden of Memories Cemetery, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 5701 U.S. Hwy 277 South.
Other survivors include two sisters, Savanna Reeves and Zia Reeves, both of Abilene; his grandparents, Lloyd Delmer and Wilma Reeves of Albuquerque, N.M., and Richard N. and June Haye of Round Rock; and several aunts and uncles.

Curtis Brooks
Curtis Brooks, 81, died Thursday in a local nursing home.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Masonic Cemetery with the Rev. V.L. Brown officiating, directed by Curtis-Starks Funeral Home, 542 E.N. 7th.
Mr. Brooks was born in Angelina County, where he attended school, and was a longtime Abilene resident. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a retired truck mechanic and returned to Abilene about four years ago from Berkeley, Calif. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include three brothers, Leonard Brooks of Houston, and Webster Brooks and David Brooks, both of El Paso; one sister, Alice Faye Brooks of Eloy, Ariz.; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will be at 1026 Luzon.
Visitation will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Jim Lee Mize
Jim Lee Mize, 79, died Thursday in Abilene.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Starbuck Funeral Home Chapel in Merkel with Claud Parrish officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Merkel.
Mr. Mize was born in Anson and served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked as a truck driver for many years and also was employed by the Texas Highway Department in Anson for three years before retiring. He then was a custodian at Southern Hills Church of Christ and worked in yard maintenance for Veda's Village at Lake Stamford. He married Madge Bullard in 1984 in Abilene. He was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and was a member of Woodlawn Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, of Abilene; two daughters, Sherry B. Billiot of Abilene and Dee Dee Still of Sweetwater; one stepdaughter, Frances Kimbrell of Shallowater; one sister, Irene Fincher of Stephenville; five grandchildren; and many step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, step great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Ross Roberson
NOCONA - Ross Roberson, 83, formerly of the Big Country, died Wednesday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Jerry Woods Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ed Spivey officiating. Burial will be in Ringgold Cemetery.
Mr. Roberson was born in Eastland and worked as a foundry machinist. He married Juanita Crenshaw in 1991 in Abilene and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, of Nocona; two stepsons, Jo Uselton and Tom Uselton, both of Nocona; four stepdaughters, including Linda Bay Uselton of Nocona and Phyliss Leads of California; and one brother, Willis Roberson of Abilene.

Clara Mae Atkinson Moore
BROWNWOOD - Clara Mae Atkinson Moore, 92, lifelong Brown County resident, died Wednesday in a local nursing home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Rocky Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Mark Bryant officiating. Burial will be in Rocky Creek Cemetery, directed by Davis-Morris Funeral Home.
Mrs. Moore was born in Burnet and moved to Grosvenor in 1904 and McDaniel in 1943. She was a charter member of McDaniel Home Demonstration Club, and was a member and past worthy matron of Bangs chapter, Order of the Eastern Star. She was active in the Women's Missionary Union at Rocky Creek Baptist Church and was the widow of Tom Moore, whom she married in 1924 in Bangs.
Survivors include three daughters, Colleen White of Boca Raton, Fla., Dorothy Tiemann of Bangs and Barbara Buckelew of Granbury; three sons, Tom Moore of Hurst, Jimmy Moore of Fort Worth and Troy Moore of Hamshire; 21 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Raymond Koonsman
STEPHENVILLE - Raymond H. Koonsman, 91, lifelong Erath County resident, died Wednesday in Stephenville.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Ralph Starling and Rodger Weems officiating. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory.
Mr. Koonsman was born in Duffau and married Irene Cozby in 1930 in Marietta, Okla. He was a retired farmer, rancher, dairyman and cattle buyer, and was a member of Graham Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, of Stephenville; two sons, Otis Koonsman of Crowley and R.D. Koonsman of Fort Worth; one daughter, Alma Jean Lockett of North Richland Hills; one sister, Faye Koonsman of Stephenville; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Kevin Calvet Hall
BROWNWOOD - Kevin Calvet Hall, 35, of Dallas and formerly of Brownwood, died Monday at his home.
The body was cremated. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Heartland Funeral Home Chapel in Early with Dr. Georgia Allen officiating.
Mr. Hall was born in Brownwood and attended Brownwood High School, Abilene Christian University and Gary's Beauty College. He served with the U.S. Army and worked as a beautician. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his parents, James Howard and Wilma O. Newsome Hall of Brownwood; three brothers, Howard W. Hall and James C. Hall, both of Brownwood, and Harry N. Hall of Houston; two sisters, Tamaria S. Smith and Kimberly A. Hall, both of Brownwood; and one nephew and five nieces.

Jimmie Loudder
BRECKENRIDGE - Jimmie Loudder, 75, lifelong Stephens County resident, died Wednesday in a Temple hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Melton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Breckenridge Cemetery.
Mrs. Loudder was born in Breckenridge and married Gerald Loudder in 1943 in Big Spring. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Dorcas Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, of Breckenridge; one daughter, Linda Martin of Creede, Colo.; one sister, Fredda Thompson of Midland; and one grandchild.

Margie Mae Campbell
BANGS - Margie Mae Campbell, 92, died Wednesday in a local nursing home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Brownwood. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Abilene.
Mrs. Campbell was born in Rusk County and worked as a housemother at Buckner Children's Home in Dallas for 22 years. She moved to Bangs in 1980. She was a Baptist and was the widow of Frank B. Campbell.
Survivors include five sons, George E. Campbell of Lewisville, William Leo Campbell of Pottsboro, Walton Max Campbell of Belle Chase, La., Harold B. Campbell of Bangs and Paul T. Campbell of Tyler; one daughter, Mary Josephine Cottrell of Houston; 25 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and several great great grandchildren.
The body will be at Bangs Funeral Home until 10 a.m. Saturday.
