Willie Lim Hang
Willie Lim Hang, 53, of Dallas, father of two Abilene residents, died Wednesday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Faith, 5701 U.S. Hwy 277 South, with the Rev. Robert Preece officiating. Burial will be in Elliott-Hamil Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Mr. Hang was born in Kampong Cham, Cambodia, and moved to Dallas in 1986. He worked as a custodian supervisor for Zion Lutheran Church in Dallas, where he was a member.
Survivors include his wife, Phan Hang of Dallas; one son, Daniel Lee Hang of Austin; three daughters, Cindy Sitha Keo and Lena Hang, both of Abilene, and Phalika German of Dallas; and four grandchildren.

Ruby Hudgens
PARIS, Texas - Ruby (Mrs. Barney) Hudgens, 89, of Abilene and formerly of Paris, died Thursday in an Abilene nursing home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Gene Roden's & Sons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lane Park and Dr. Sidney Young officiating. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City.
Mrs. Hudgens was born in Valley View and attended school in Gainesville and college at Denton Normal Institute. She owned Massey's Department Store in Wolfe City for several years. She married Barney Hudgens in 1967 in Paris, Texas, and moved to Paris in 1973 and Abilene in 1996. She was a member of Ridgemont Baptist Church in Abilene.
Survivors include her husband, of Abilene; one stepdaughter, Barbara Baber of Abilene; two step grandchildren; and two nieces and one nephew.

John Nelson 'Punkin' Childers
RISING STAR - John Nelson "Punkin" Childers, 99, died Friday in a local nursing home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Higginbotham Funeral Home Chapel with Dick Williams and James McLeod officiating. Burial will be in Rising Star Cemetery.
Mr. Childers was born in Kopperl and moved to Rising Star in 1947. He was a retired pumper of Phillips Petroleum. He was a member of Rising Star Masonic Lodge 688 and First Baptist Church, and was the widower of Effie Anna Parsons Childers, whom he married in 1919 in Meridian.
Survivors include two daughters, Gladine Seago and Nadine Graham, both of Rising Star; one brother, Eugene Childers of Albany; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Dallis Rex Lyndell Priddy
COLEMAN - Dallis Rex Lyndell Priddy, four-month-old son of Bobby and Serena Priddy, died Wednesday.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Coleman Cemetery with Dr. Charles Sheffield officiating, directed by Stevens Funeral Home.
Dallis was born in Lewisville.
Other survivors include his grandparents, Ronnie and Judy Nachtigall of Hico, and Steve and Vera Kallejian of Palm Desert, Calif.; and his great-grandparents, James and Jean Priddy of Coleman, Eller Brown of Shady Shores, Winnie Nachtigall of Hico and Adela Chavez of Palm Desert, Calif.
The family will be at 2313 Clow St.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Hazel 'Granny' Griffin
STAMFORD - Hazel "Granny" Griffin, 82, died Friday in a local nursing home.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Old Church Cemetery in Bryan County, Okla. with the Rev. R.H. Brese officiating, directed by Tankersley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Griffin was born in Sallisaw, Okla., and moved to Stamford in the early 1950s. She worked as a waitress. She was an honorary member of the Stamford Kiwanis Club and was a Pentecostal.
Survivors include three sons, Dan Griffin of Stamford, Tom Griffin of Guatemala, Mexico, and Curtis Griffin of Anniston, Ala.; one daughter, Henrietta Riley of Ennis, Mont.; six brothers, Glenn Brese of Bennington, Okla., R.H. Brese and James Brese, both of Bokchito, Okla., Murle Brese of Tulsa, Okla., Earl Brese of Claremore, Okla., and Charlie Brese of Poteau, Okla.; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today in the funeral home.

Betty Franke
CROSS PLAINS - Betty J. Franke, 68, died Thursday in an Abilene hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Cross Plains First Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Cyr officiating. Burial will be in Cross Plains Cemetery, directed by Higginbotham Funeral Home.
Mrs. Franke was born in Callahan County and married Merlin Franke in 1946 in Ballinger. She was a homemaker and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Coleman.
Survivors include her husband, of Cross Plains; three sons, Larry Franke of New Braunfels, Steven Franke of Winnie and Dennis Franke of Santa Anna; three daughters, Norma Jean Nelson of Mabank, and Cheryl Hollis and Kayla Stout, both of Cross Plains; one brother, Eldon Connel of Odessa; and 13 grandchildren.

Wanda Marie Proctor
Wanda Marie Proctor, 67, lifelong Abilene resident, died Saturday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday in Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 542 Hickory, with Doug Reeves officiating. Burial will be in Buffalo Gap Cemetery.
Mrs. Proctor was born in Abilene and attended Hardin-Simmons University. She was a homemaker and was a member of Westgate Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Bruce Proctor of Abilene; one daughter, Marsha Wise of Abilene; two brothers, Wayne Dean of Orlando, Fla., and David Dean of Houston; one sister, Patti Dean of Abilene; and two grandchildren.

ODESSA - Lois Janice Collier, 71, sister of a Rochester resident, died Friday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors Chapel with the Rev. Jim Humphries officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Collier was born in Bomarton and worked at First State Bank. She retired from M-Bank and was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, A.J. Collier of Odessa; two daughters, Patricia Robinson of Midland and Kathy Bowden of Odessa; one son, Danny Collier of Odessa; two sisters, Mary Helen Jenkins of Rochester and Bobbie Wells of Garland; one brother, Billy Dodd of Scottsdale, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Foy Webb
COLORADO CITY - Foy O. Webb, 89, lifelong local resident, died Saturday in a local nursing home.
Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. today in Colorado City Cemetery with the Rev. Ken Northcutt officiating, directed by Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Mr. Webb was born in Eastland and married Frances J. Plaster in 1930 in Mitchell County. He was a retired farmer and was a member of Plainview Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, of Colorado City; one daughter, Janis Baker of Graham; one sister, Doris Webb of California; two brothers, Brice Webb and Lindley Webb, both of Colorado City; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
