Loretta Boler Shepperd
BROWNWOOD - Loretta Boler Shepperd of Bangs died Sunday at a local nursing home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bangs First Baptist Church, directed by Davis-Morris Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Coleman City Cemetery with James Ford officiating, directed by Walker Funeral Home.
Mr. Campbell was born in Bell County and retired from Martin Brick Plant.
Survivors include four daughters, Ruth Harper of Ranger, Jean Waldrop of Trinity, Sue Ewing of Coleman and Dedra Phares of Rotan; one son, Jerry Campbell of Coleman; one sister, Mary Dunn of Plainview; one brother, Wayne Campbell of Brownwood; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the American Heart Association.
The family will be at the funeral home from 6-7 p.m. today.

Lillian Fewell
CLYDE - Lillian Fewell, 94, died Saturday in Midland.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Riley Fugitt and Dr. Jerry Joplin officiating. Private graveside services will be in Clyde Cemetery.
Mrs. Fewell was born in Ben Arnold and moved to Clyde from Lott in 1917. She was a member of First Baptist Church for more than 60 years and T.E.L. Sunday school class. She was past worthy matron of Eastern Star Chapter 308 and a 50-year member of Eastern Star. She moved to Midland in 1991 from Clyde. She married Harry Lesslie Fewell in 1925 in Merkel; he preceded her in death.
Survivors include one daughter, Juanita Shanks of Midland; one brother, Clayton Evans of Houston; two sisters, Pauline Jones of Lovelady and Jean Wilkinson of Anson; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Martha Aerle Crow
CLYDE - Martha Aerle Crow, 71, died Sunday at a local hospital.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Clyde Cemetery with Dr. Jerry Joplin officiating, directed by Bailey Funeral Home.
Mrs. Crow was born in Waco and moved to Clyde from Abilene in 1982. She graduated from Waco High School in 1943 and worked at Abilene State School as a nurse's aide for 10 years. She was a Baptist. She married James Eugene Crow in 1944 in Waco.
Survivors include her husband, of Clyde; two sons, John Crow Jr. of Hawley and James Crow of Kemp; one daughter, Linda Webb of Kaufman; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Geraldine 'Gerry' McPheeters
RANGER - Geraldine "Gerry" McPheeters, 90, formerly of Ranger, died Thursday in a Houston nursing home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, directed by Edwards Funeral Home.
Mrs. McPheeters was born in Dilman, Ind., and worked as a hairdresser. She lived in Ranger from 1972-1985 and was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was a volunteer at Herman's Hospital in Houston. She married W.R. "Bill" McPheeters in 1934 in Dallas; he preceded her in death.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda Higgins of Houston; one son, Bob Preslar of Houston; two brothers, Gene Kribbs of Breckenridge and Merle "Buster" Kribbs of Dublin; one sister, Yvonne Gallagher of Corpus Christi; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Harvey Don Dowell
McCAULLEY - Harvey Don Dowell, 65, died Saturday at an Abilene hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at McCaulley Baptist Church with the Rev. Bruce Cook officiating. Burial will be in McCaulley Cemetery, directed by Foster-Adams Funeral Home of Hamlin.
Mr. Dowell was born in Moody and lived in Royston (Fisher County) most of his life. He was a retired farmer and a member of McCaulley Baptist Church. He married Lorene Smart in 1950 in Hamlin.
Survivors include his wife, of McCaulley; two sons, Harvey Glenn Dowell and Tracey Lee Dowell, both of McCaulley; one daughter, Connie LaNette Hansen of McCaulley; and eight grandchildren.

Rev. William Thelon Jones
HAMLIN - The Rev. William Thelon Jones, 81, died Saturday at a local nursing home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Assembly of God Church with the Revs. Ted Miller and J.J. Stone officiating. Burial will be in Hamlin East Cemetery, directed by Foster-Adams Funeral Home.
Rev. Jones was born in Stonewall County and worked as a truck driver and a cobbler. He was an ordained Assembly of God minister for 60 years and pastored churches in Albany, Quitaque, Tatum, N.M., Sudan and Aspermont before retiring and moving to Hamlin in 1984. He was a member of American Association of Retired Persons and the Assembly of God Minister's Association. He married Gladys Carleton in 1939 in Albany.
Survivors include his wife, of Hamlin; two sons, James Jones of Charlotte and the Rev. Robert Jones of Winters; three daughters, Gladys Weaver and Wilma Edwards, both of Hamlin, and Rebecca Bristow of Happy; three brothers, Frank White of Haskell, Alvin White of Breckenridge and Harvey White of Odessa; four sisters, Minnie Walker of Stamford, Flossie Garvin of Snyder, Mary Kierpeka of Haskell and Katherine Clem of Kermit; 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

W.F. 'Frank' Brinson
BROWNWOOD - W.F. "Frank" Brinson, 81, of Bangs died Friday at a local hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Allen officiating. Burial will be in Bangs Cemetery.
Mr. Brinson was born in Rockwood and lived most of his life in Bangs. He was a retired U.S. Postal clerk and an Army veteran of World War II. He married Edith Irene Ramsey in 1938; she preceded him in death.
Survivors include three sons, Bill Brinson of Bangs, Rick Brinson of Coleman and Randall Brinson of Andrews; one daughter, Jean Jowers of Bangs; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Billie Vaudene Holt
Billie Vaudene Holt, 75, of Abilene died Sunday at a local hospital.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Rose Hill Cemetery in Merkel with Pete English and Clay Milam officiating, directed by Allen-Korzenewski Funeral Home, 1443 N. 2nd.
Mrs. Holt was born in Anson and moved to Abilene in the 1930s. She had worked at Wyatt's Cafeteria and the McMurry University cafeteria. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She married J.R. "Jim" Holt in 1946; he preceded her in death.
Survivors include two brothers, Bill Starritt of Abilene and George Starritt of Manteca, Calif.; two sisters, Doris Decker and Bea Pennington, both of Abilene; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Shepperd was born in Mills County and lived in Bangs most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church. She married Lester Shepperd in 1929 in Brownwood; he preceded her in death.
Survivors include one daughter, Earl Dean Shepperd of Bangs; one sister, Leatrice Waren of Brownwood; and two brothers, Earl Boler of Granbury and Jimmy Boler of Abilene.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Building Fund.
