Maurice H. Heath
Maurice H. Heath, 73, died Monday at a local hospital.
Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Robert Bush officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Memorial Park, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory.
Mr. Heath was born in Creedmore. He married Delphia O. McDonald in Austin in 1947; she preceded him in death in 1995. Mr. Heath was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Survivors include a son, Griffin Casey Maurice Heath of Abilene; four daughters, Joy Ann Heath Kimbrough of Rule, Sue Nell Heath of Abilene, Lou Heath Jordan of Hawley, and Kimberly Heath Davis of Cedar Park; a brother, B.F. Heath of Austin; two sisters, Alice Reid of Austin and his twin sister, Margaret Heckman of Concord, Calif.; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Josephine Kelly Patterson
ROTAN - Josephine Kelly Patterson, 76, of Austin, formerly of Rotan, died Monday in Austin.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Rotan Cemetery with the Rev. Scott Mayer officiating, directed by Weathersbee Funeral Home.
Mrs. Patterson was born in Taylor County and grew up in Snyder and Rotan. She graduated from Sul Ross State University in Alpine in 1942, where she was editor of the school newspaper. She attended State University of Iowa, working on her master's degree in speech.
In 1947 she married Dr. Marcel Patterson, who preceded her in death in 1986. The couple lived in Boston and San Francisco before moving to Galveston in 1954.
Mrs. Patterson taught school in Galveston for many years. She was active in the League of Women Voters, the Beta Study Club and the Women's Auxiliary of the University of Texas Medical Branch and the Democratic Party of Galveston County. In 1986, she established lectureships and awards at UTMB in honor of her late husband. She was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church and completed studies in Episcopal Fellowship Ministries. She was a supporter of the Trinity Episcopal Church and the William Temple House.
Survivors include a daughter, Margaret Aeschback of Austin; two sons, Dr. Guy Kelly Patterson of Houston and Robert Marc Miller Patterson of Galveston; one aunt and three grandchildren.

Mary E. Goza
ANSON - Mary E. Goza, 81, died Monday in Tampa, Fla.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Anson Church of Christ with P.B. Middlebrook officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, directed by Lawrence-Adams Funeral Home.
Mrs. Goza was born in Archer City and graduated from Hale Center High School. She married L.E. "Judge" Goza in 1936 in Estancia, New Mexico; he preceded her in death in 1982. The couple moved to Anson in 1945. Mrs. Goza was a homemaker and a member of the Anson Church of Christ.
Survivors include one daughter, Geraldine "Geri" Diehl of Tampa, Fla.; one sister, Maggie Frances Woods of Sun City, Fla.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Otto Wienecke Jr.
STEPHENVILLE - Otto Wienecke Jr., 64, of Paluxy, died Tuesday at his home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel; burial will be in Rock Church Cemetery, directed by Stephenville Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Wienecke was born in Harper and married Jessie Stocks in Cedar Point in 1956. He was a farmer and rancher and a sheep and goat shearer. He was a retired Erath County employee and had lived the past 46 years in Paluxy. He was a member of Cedar Point Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, of Paluxy; two sons, Audie Ray Wienecke of Paluxy and Wayne Albert Wienecke of Godley; one daughter, Penny Sue Pritchard of Winters; three brothers, Clifford Wienecke, James Wienecke and Bobby Wienecke, all of Harper; five sisters, Ellie Thomas of Harper, Alma Klien of Fredricksburg, Annie Faye Greeson of Buchanan, Jennie Gold of Uvalde and Julie McBee of Boerne; and six grandchildren.
Memorials may be sent to Cedar Point Baptist Church.

Pam Adkins Elmore
ROCHESTER - Pam Adkins Elmore, 40, of McKinney, died in a one-car vehicle accident Tuesday 14 miles east of Haskell.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Truett Kunestler and the Rev. Ed Buerkle officiating. Burial will be in the Rochester Cemetery, directed by Smith Funeral Home.
Mrs. Elmore was born in Knox City and graduated from Rochester High School in 1975. She graduated from beauty college in Abilene and worked as a beautician. She was a member of the Baptist church.
Survivors include two daughters, Venice Elmore and Stephanie Elmore, both of McKinney; her mother, Katherine Adkins of Lake Stamford; her grandmother, Mary Adkins of Rochester; four brothers, Mike Adkins and Tony Adkins, both of Lake Stamford, Bud Adkins of Quannah, and Don Adkins of Fort Phantom Lake.

Frank Putman
BROWNWOOD - Frank Putman, 74, died Tuesday.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Eastlawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Tim Holder officiating, directed by Davis-Morris Funeral Home.
Mr. Putman was a retired sales representative for a wholesale hardware company. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and served aboard a submarine in the Pacific.
Mr. Putman lived in Dallas before moving to Brownwood in 1958. He was a member of Coggin Avenue Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita Putman of Brownwood; a daughter, Janice Foster of Brownwood; one brother, Leslie Putman of Vidor; a sister-in-law and one granddaughter.

George Charlton Bromley Jr.
SWEETWATER - George Charlton Bromley Jr., 59, died Tuesday at a Lubbock hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at McCoy Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with the Rev. Lyndel Hix officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Mr. Bromley was born in Sweetwater and lived there almost all his life; he married Judy Tinsley there in 1957. He was retired from B.J. Hughes Well Services and was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, of Sweetwater; three daughters, Stacie Hankins and Lori Foust, both of Abilene, and Renee Rittiluechai of Lubbock; a son, Jeff Bromley of Burkburnett; and two sisters, Patty Goettman of Burkburnett and Nancy Spillers of Sweetwater.

Forest Callan Perkins
ROBY - Forest Callan Perkins, 76, died Tuesday in an Abilene hospital.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Loren Gardner officiating. Burial will be in Roby Cemetery, directed by Weathersbee Funeral Home.
Mr. Perkins was born to the late Mr. and Mrs. Earnest Roberts Perkins. He lived all his life in the Fisher County area. He worked for Fisher County Precinct 1 for 25 years.
Mr. Perkins was a farmer and a rancher and also served in the Air Force for four years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Geneva Perkins of Roby; one daughter, Beth Turner of Princeton, Texas; and one sister, Louis Killingsworth of Abilene.

Willie Wagner
BROWNWOOD - Willie W. Wagner, 50, died Tuesday at his home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Swindler officiating. Burial will be at the Greenleaf Cemetery, directed by Heartland Funeral Home of Early.
Mr. Wagner was born in Blanco. He never married and had been a resident of South Park Development Center since 1986. He was a Protestant.
Survivors include five brothers, Billie Wagner and Bennie Wagner, both of Brownwood, Clinton Wagner and James Wagner, both of Lometa, and Johnny Wagner of Waco; one sister, Winnie Wagner of Denver City.
