Joseph Quain Parnell
STEPHENVILLE - Joseph Quain Parnell, 73, lifelong Erath County resident, died Monday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Dan Murray and the Rev. Emil V. Becker officiating. Burial will be in Lowell Cemetery.
Mr. Parnell was born in Erath County and served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He married Addie Winnell Turpen in 1946 in Stephenville and was a retired auto mechanic. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, of Stephenville; one son, Charles Parnell of Tuscola; one daughter, Debra Stuteville of Rising Star; one brother, Jerry Parnell of Sherman; one sister, Helena Robinson of Gonzales, La.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Bobbie Ann Moneyhun Wilson
BIG SPRING - Bobbie Ann Moneyhun Wilson, 51, formerly of Coleman, died Monday in a local hospital.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in Coleman Cemetery with the Rev. Jeff Robinett officiating, directed by Stevens Funeral Home of Coleman.
Mrs. Wilson was born in Coleman and graduated from high school in Odessa. She attended nursing school at Odessa College and worked as a beautician. She lived in Coleman from 1984-90 and was a Baptist.
Survivors include two sons, Rob Wilson of Coleman and Trey Wilson of Gatesville; one sister, Sue Carr of Edmond, Okla.; four grandchildren; two nieces; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Ed Heller
Ed Heller, 81, died Tuesday after a heart attack at his home.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Faith, 5701 U.S. Hwy 277 South, with Glenn Owen officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Memorial Park.
Mr. Heller was born in Rankin County and graduated from high school in Dundee. He was a longtime rancher. He owned and operated a ranch in Dundee before moving to Abilene in 1987. He was a 32nd degree Mason and was a member of Highland Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Dee Heller of Abilene; one daughter, Maryln Searcy of Fort Worth; one stepbrother, Amel Frey of Henrietta; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.

Charles Arwood Walker
BANGS - Charles Arwood Walker, 73, of Dallas, a Bangs native, died Monday in a Dallas hospital.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Mukewater Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Allen officiating, directed by Davis-Morris Funeral Home of Brownwood.
Mr. Walker served in the U.S. Army and was a retired carpenter.
Survivors include four daughters; one brother, Wayne Walker of Burbank, Calif.; one sister, Deanie McKenzie of Bakersfield, Calif.; his former wife, Virginia Walker of Dallas; and many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Adah Clegg
ROTAN - Today's service for Adah M. Clegg, 93, of Killeen and formerly of Rotan, has been moved to Rotan First Baptist Church. It will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Cottonwood Cemetery, directed by Weathersbee Funeral Home.
Mrs. Clegg died Tuesday in a Copperas Cove nursing home.

Winnie Martin
BANGS - Winnie M. Martin, 83, died Wednesday in Bedford.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Greenleaf Cemetery in Brownwood with the Rev. Mark Bryant officiating, directed by Davis-Morris Funeral Home of Brownwood.
Mrs. Martin was born in Comanche and grew up in Bangs. She was a homemaker. She lived in Corpus Christi for many years and returned to Bangs in 1971. She was a member of Rocky Creek Baptist Church and was the widow of Arvie G. Martin, whom she married in 1932 in Lawton, Okla.
Survivors include one son, Kenneth A. Martin of Irving; two grandchildren; three step grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Pauline Mims Cowan
Pauline Mims Cowan, 87, employed by Lankford Clothing Manufacturing for 20 years, died Wednesday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in North's Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, 242 Orange, with the Rev. Wayne Palmer officiating. Burial will be in Fort Phantom Cemetery.
Mrs. Cowan was born in Lueders, where she grew up, and married Bythell Cowan in 1926. She moved to Abilene in 1955 and was a homemaker. She was a member of Lueders Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, John Cowan of Austin; one sister, Katie Vickers; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
The family will be at 1818 Ballinger.

David Tucker
David Tucker, 42, lifelong Abilene resident, died Wednesday in a Dallas hospital.
Graveside services with Masonic rites will be at 2 p.m. today in Cedar Hill Cemetery, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory.
Mr. Tucker was born in Abilene and worked as a machinist for Hartmann Brothers Inc. He also was an official for intercollegiate track events and high school football. He was a member and past master of the Lawn Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Christy Gibbs Tucker of Abilene; two daughters, Stephaine Tucker and Victoria Tucker, both of Abilene; his parents, Glenn Tucker and Wanda Little, both of Abilene; one brother, Christopher Little of Abilene; and one sister, Heather Tucker of California.

Katie Campbell
PEAR VALLEY - Katie Campbell, 98, mother of an Abilene resident, died Thursday in a Brady nursing home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Leatherwood Colonial Funeral Home Chapel in Brady. Burial will be in Live Oak Cemetery in Brady.
Mrs. Campbell was born in San Antonio and lived in the Brady area for more than 90 years. She was a longtime farmer and rancher in the Lohn-Pear Valley area. She was a member of the Church of Christ and was the widow of Edward A. Campbell, whom she married in 1919 in Brady.
Survivors include one son, Norris Campbell of Abilene; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
