(June 1, 1930 - September 20, 2011)

Dolores Jean Bear, age 81, of Huffman, Texas, passed away Tuesday, September, 20, 2011.

She was born June 1, 1930 in Wink, Texas to parents, George Patrick and Ester Estell Johnson who preceded her in death along with her daughter, Peggy Dark; brothers, Red Johnson, Skeeter Johnson and G.W. Johnson.

Survivors include daughters, Connie Waller and husband, James, Bonney Dahlquist; sons, Harvey Bear Jr. and wife, Amy, Jerry Bear and wife, Suzanne,

Larry Bear, Jimmy Bear and wife, Tammie; sister, Patsy McClain and husband, James; brothers, Sonny Johnson and wife, Sue, Donald Ray Johnson and wife, Wilma; sisters-in-law, Bobby Johnson, Mairlyn Johnson and Margaret Johnson

son-in-law, Kent Dark; twenty-three grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren; a whole bunch of nieces, nephews, cousins and other cherished family members and faithful friends.

The family will welcome family and friends for visitation Friday, September 23, 2011 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas.

Pastor Bobie Mathis will preside over funeral services being held Saturday, September 24, 2011, 1:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas.

Pallbearers include Benjamin Dark, Aaron Young, Joey Ford, Jonathan Ratliff, Larry Mahancey, and Kenneth Ford II.

Ronald J. "Ron" Harrop
(September 29, 1969 - September 20, 2011)

Ronald J. “Ron” Harrop, 41, of Coldspring, died Tuesday, September 20, 2011, at Odyssey Hospice in Conroe.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 26, 2011, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Cleveland with burial following at the Hayman Cemetery in Coldspring.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home.

Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Cleveland.

Ron was born September 29, 1969 in Seattle, WA, to parents; Roland Miller and Laura Viola Harrop, a former resident of Baytown, and has resided in the Coldspring area for the past five years.

He was a computer technician, member of the Jay Cees, Boy Scout Master for Troop #524, cofounder for the Baytown Special Rodeo, and enjoyed fishing, carpentry, camping, hiking, computers, photography, and especially spending time with his children.

Mr. Harrop was preceded in death by his father: Roland M. Harrop, brothers: Larry and Eric Harrop, and sister: May Smith. He is survived by his wife of 14 years: Monra Steelhammer Harrop of Coldspring, sons: Joseph Frank, Roland Walker, and Dallas Earl Harrop all of Coldspring, mother: Laura V. Smith Harrop-Jones of ID, sisters: Sherrie Recee and husband Barry Johnson of WA, Vicky Manix and husband Ned of Baytown, Lori Keno and husband Robert of Yannis, April Hanley and husband Joe of WA, and Holly Stump of AZ, his friends and companions: Sakari Marie, Jack Frost, and Rayne Beaux, an numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In lieu usual floral remembrances, the family requests that donations be made to the Ronald J. “Ron” Harrop memorial fund at Prosperity Bank in Cleveland.

James Birdell Blanks
(Died September 28, 2011)

James Birdell Blanks, age 80, of Houston, Texas, passed away Wednesday, September, 28, 2011.

He was born April 13, 1931 in Evergreen, Texas to parents, Birdell and Alma Blanks who preceded him in death along with his son, Eddie B. Blanks.

He leaves behind to treasure his memories; his sons, Joe Blanks and Greg Blanks; sister, Geraldine Turner; grandchildren, Michelle Barlow, Demontre Blanks, Kaela Blanks, Kenya Blanks, and Quentoniya Roberts; great-grandchildren, Jasmine Jones, Laclaiia Williams, Jonathon Williams, Kaniyah Roberts; nephews, Keith Turner; nieces, Rebecca Thompson White and Evaline Turner; God sisters, Gloria Gean Peavy and Maggie Jackson; special cousin, Tommy Denson.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 1, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, Evergreen, Texas.

Visitation will be held prior to the service starting at 9:00 a.m.

Interment will be at Houston National Cemetery at a later date.

Annie Faye Wade Clopton
(September 8, 1928 - September 28, 2011)

Annie Faye Wade Clopton, 83, of Huffman, died Wednesday, September 28, 2011 in Livingston, Texas.

Mrs. Clopton was born September 8, 1928 in Dayton, Texas to parents John Wallace Wade and Leatha Ann Tillery Wade.

She was a long time resident of Huffman where she raised her family.

Services for Mrs. Clopton will be 12:00 noon, Saturday, October 1, 2011 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Cleveland.

Interment to follow at Rosewood Cemetery in Humble.

Visitation is 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., Friday, September 30, 2011 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Clopton was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands: Rex Otto McCrary and Claude Clopton; her sons: Glenn McCrary, Troy McCrary, Patrick Clopton, Danny Clopton, Rodney Clopton, and Jerry Clopton; her daughters: Melissa Faye McCrary and Diane Clopton; and her grandson: John Wayne McCrary.

She is survived by her sons: Wayne McCrary and wife Pinkie, Cecil McCrary and wife Enedina, Karl McCrary and wife Melissa, Darl McCrary and wife Jeanette, Ty McCrary, Larry Clopton, Barry Clopton, and Norman Clopton; her daughter: Dortha Miller; 18 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; also numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Casey Wayne Senter
(July 31, 1988 - September 18, 2011)

Casey Wayne Senter, 23, of Cleveland, died Sunday, September 18, 2011, in Cleveland.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 23, 2011, at the Calvary Baptist Church with burial following at the Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens in Cleveland.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.

Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Cleveland.

Casey was born July 31, 1988 in Humble, to parents; Terry Wayne and Deborah L. Wade Senter, and has resided in the Cleveland area throughout his life.

He was an instrument technician in the petro-chemical field, a lead guitarist for several bands including 'Dirt & Diesel' & 'Matt Coffman & Southern Dyscomfort', and enjoyed riding his motorcycle, four-wheeling, and spending time with family and friends at the lake.

Casey was preceded in death by his father, Terry Wayne Senter, grandfathers Jim “Pop” Senter and Earl “Paw Paw” Wade, brother Caleb Jack “C.J.” Stanphill, Uncle Raymond Wade, and cousin Ben Senter.

He is survived by his soul mate, Carissa Talk and their precious unborn child of Spring, mother Deborah Wade Senter and fiancé Mac Smith of Huffman, grandmothers Barbara Senter of Cleveland and JoAnn Wade of Splendora, "Uncle-father" Jimmy Senter of Cleveland.

His extended family members are Mac Smith, Lajuana Schiro, Michelle Taylor, James McKiddie, Vernon McKiddie, Tabitha Samford, Jessica Smith, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

In lieu of usual floral remembrances, the family requests that donations be made to the Wells Fargo Bank in Cleveland, for a scholarship fund to be used for Casey’s child.

Deborah Carol Poling
(December 1, 1955 - August 30, 2011)

Deborah Carol Poling, age 55, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2011.

She was born December 1, 1955 in Cleveland to parents, Oree and Annie McLin who preceded her in death along with her brother, Dickie McLin.

She is survived by her loving husband, Len Poling; daughters, Cassi Poling and Jessica Poling; siblings, Travis McLin and wife, Karen, Charles McLin and wife, Kay, Sylvia Head and husband, Johnny, James McLin and Johnnie Mae; numerous nieces, nephews, loving friends and coworkers.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 2, 2011, 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 3, 2011, 1:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas.

Bobbie Kirkham
(January 17, 1919 - September 15, 2011)

Bobbie Kirkham, age 92, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2011.

She was born January 17, 1919 in Hightower, Texas to parent McNeil and Mattie Chapman who preceded her in death along with her husband, Joe Kirkham; son Jimmie Kirkham; and son-in-law, Charles Hansbro.

Survivors include her son, Lloyd Kirkham and wife, Cordella; daughter, JoAnn Hansbro; grandchildren, Kem, Julie, Kehle, Robert, and James; great-grandchildren, Chris, Rachel, Nick, Colby, Parker, Charli, Keagan, Connor, and Delaney; numerous other cherished family members and faithful friends.

The family will welcome visitors on Saturday, September 17, 2011, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas.

Rev. Jerry Bontrager will preside over funeral services being held Sunday, September 18, 2011, 2:00 p.m. at Oak Shade Baptist Church, Cleveland, Texas with interment following at Oak Shade Cemetery.

Edward Harry Burnett
(July 4, 1943 - September 21, 2011)

Edward Harry Burnett, age 68, of Dayton, Texas, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2011.

He was born July 4, 1943 in Reeves, Louisiana to parents, Ocie Edward and Hattie Burnett.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 23, 2011, Dry Creek Cemetery, Dry Creek, Louisiana with Rev. Mid Burnett officiating.

Survivors include his wife, Pam Burnett; sons, Mark Burnett, Matt Burnett, Jeff Burnett, Kevin Burnett, Ben Burnettt, Jake Burnett, Luke Burnett, Dereck Burnett; brothers, Jeston Burnett; thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren with numerous nieces and nephews, and other loving family members and friends.
