Elmer Leo 'Pop' Porter
ROSCOE - Elmer Leo "Pop" Porter, 78, of Loraine and formerly of Roscoe and Maryneal, died Saturday in Loraine.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Roscoe Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Addington officiating, directed by McCoy Funeral Home.
Mr. Porter was born in Jackson, Ala., and had lived in Roscoe for 34 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and worked for Lone Star Cement in Maryneal for 41 years. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include four sons, Benjamin Porter of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Sidney Porter and Frank "Pete, Butch" Porter, both of Roscoe, and Zane Porter of Sweetwater; two daughters, Vicki Hicks of Canyon Lake and Robin Barrett of West Palm Bay, Fla.; one brother, Fred Porter of Jackson, Ala.; one sister, Jessie Norman of Mobile, Ala.; one grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Willis Kreager Jr.
BALLINGER - Willis Kreager Jr., 70, died Saturday at a local hospital.
Services will be at 4 p.m. today at First Christian Church with the Rev. Winford Gore officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery, directed by Rains-Seale Funeral Home.
Mr. Kreager was born in Tioga and was a computer analyst, owning and operating Micro Print-X for 15 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict and was a member and elder of First Christian Church. He married Joe C. Rowe in 1957 in Talpa.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, David Kreager of The Woodlands and Chris Kreager of Pflugerville; one daughter, Teresa Ischar of Ballinger; his stepmother, Mattie Kreager of Orland Park, Ill.; five sisters, Grace Bernard of Round Rock, Allene Pyeatt of Tucson, Ariz., Mildred Elkins of Irving, Joyce Shobris of Orland Park and Nancy Dart of Las Vegas, Nev.; two grandsons and numerous nieces and nephews.

Seth Moore
BROWNWOOD - Seth E. Moore, 84, died Sunday at a local nursing home.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. George Weeks and Alan Wallace officiating. Burial with Masonic graveside services will be in Eastlawn Memorial Park.
Mr. Moore was born in Comanche and was a farmer, construction worker and businessman. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and had lived in Brownwood since 1964. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church and Comanche Masonic Lodge and a charter member of Hamilton Acres Baptist Church in Fairbanks, Alaska. He married Lois Kathryn Gaines in 1942 in Brownwood.
Survivors include his wife, of Brownwood; one son, Ronnie Moore of Houston; two sisters, Alma Armstrong and Beatrice Schumann, both of San Antonio; one brother, Raymond Moore of De Leon; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family will be at the funeral home from 6:30-7:30 p.m. today.

Milton Jermone Crook
BRECKENRIDGE - Milton Jermone Crook, 76, formerly of Breckenridge, died Saturday at a Temple hospital.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Necessity Cemetery with the Rev. Cecil Harper officiating, directed by Morehart Mortuary.
Mr. Crook was born in Breckenridge and graduated from Breckenridge High School in 1939. He attended Tarleton State University and was a Navy veteran of World War II. He attended Monmouth College before returning to Stephens County to farm and ranch. He retired from Petro Lewis Oil Company in Giddings and lived in LaGrange and Brenham before moving to Temple. He was a member of First Christian Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He married Lou Dell Walker in 1979 in Albany.
Survivors include his wife, of Temple; one brother, Jack Crook of Albany; one sister, Tiny (Mrs. Hubert) Whitley of Breckenridge; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials to West Texas Rehabilitation Center may be left at the funeral home.

Lela Gertrude Henry
Lela Gertrude Henry, 95, of Abilene died Sunday at a local hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Crescent Heights Baptist Church, 1901 N. Mockingbird, with the Rev. Butch Pesch officiating, assisted by the Rev. Mike Chancellor. Burial will be in Elmwood Memorial Park, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory.
Mrs. Henry was born in Falls County, graduated from Rule High School and attended Draughon's Business College. She moved to Abilene from Rule in 1952 and had worked at Abilene State School and Cox Hospital. She was a homemaker and a charter member of Crescent Heights Baptist Church. She was a volunteer with West Texas Rehabilitation Center, United Way, Retired Seniors Volunteer Program and World War I Veterans. She married William Henry in 1923 in Lubbock; he preceded her in death.
Survivors include four sons, Joel Randall Henry of Lubbock, James Thornton Henry and Travis Henry, both of Merkel, and Glennis O. Henry of Venlo, Holland; two daughters, Billie Jean Barnes of Abilene and Gaida Nell Williams of Hereford; 18 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Judy Diane Calvin
COLEMAN- Judy Diane Calvin, 48, died Saturday at her home.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in Coleman City Cemetery with Mark Burress officiating, directed by Walker Funeral Home.
Mrs. Calvin was born in Coleman and graduated from Coleman High School and Abilene Commercial Business College. She moved to San Angelo in 1972 and returned to Coleman in 1995. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Jo and Amon Aldridge of Goldsboro; one son, Michael Calvin of Coleman; three sisters, Sharla Dyer of San Angelo, Carolyn Bartley of Coleman and Amy Allyn of Abilene; and one brother, David Aldridge of Novice.
Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity.

Cecil Dean Adami
WINTERS - Cecil Dean Adami, 81, died Sunday at an Abilene hospital.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at North Main Street Church of Christ with David Mickey and Charles Mickey officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, directed by Winters Funeral Home.
Mrs. Adami was born in Crews and lived in the Winters area most of her life. She graduated from Winters High School and Abilene Christian University and taught at various Runnels County schools. She was a member of North Main Street Church of Christ. She married Walter Adami in 1943 in Ballinger.
Survivors include her husband, of Winters; two sons, Dr. Bernard Adami of Dallas and Howard Adami of Winters; one daughter, Louise Burleson of Arlington; two brothers, R.C. Schwartz of Lake LBJ and Hallie Schwartz of Winters; three sisters, Aletha Belew of Kilgore, Imognee Mickey of Abilene and Peggy McAnally of Winters; and eight grandchildren.

Era Beatrice Crawford Boen
ROTAN - Era Beatrice Crawford Boen, 87, of Odessa died Monday in Odessa.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Weathersbee Funeral Home Chapel with Spence Kirkpatrick officiating. Burial will be in Belvieu Cemetery.
Mrs. Boen was born in Wortham and lived in Fisher County all her life until moving to Odessa in 1996. She was a member of Fisher County Singing Group, Fisher County Senior Citizens and Primitive Baptist Church in Roby. She married Jessie Boen in 1926 in Roby; he preceded her in death.
Survivors include one son, F. Darrell Boen of Odessa; one daughter, Sandra Green of Colorado City; two brothers, Loyd Crawford and G.W. Crawford, both of Rotan; two sisters, Eva Ratliff of Blossom and Doris Floyd of Midland; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Myrtle Mae Everett
MUNDAY - Myrtle Mae Everett, 83, died Monday at a local hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Don Whetsell officiating, assisted by the Rev. William Sterling. Burial will be in Johnson Memorial Cemetery, directed by McCauley-Smith Funeral Home.
Mrs. Everett was born in Knox County and was a homemaker. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, American Cancer Society, American Heart Association and D.E.B.R.A. Association. She married William Henry "Bill" Everett in 1941 in Bomarton; he preceded her in death.
Survivors include one daughter, Kathy Morgan of Munday; two brothers, T.J. Partridge of Munday and Don Partridge of Austin; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
