Jean Alexander
BANGS - Jean Alexander, 76, died Tuesday at her home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Brownwood with the Rev. Kason Huddleston officiating. Burial will be in Bangs Cemetery.
Mrs. Alexander was born in May and was a homemaker. She moved to Bangs in 1949. She was a member of the Church of Christ and was the widow of A.Z. Alexander, whom she married in 1942 in Brown County.
Survivors include one daughter, Brenda Holland of Brookesmith; one brother, B.D. Willett of La Grange; one sister, Othlene Witt of Omaha, Texas; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Roseymae Mitchell
ASPERMONT - Roseymae Mitchell, 93, of Seguin and formerly of Stonewall County, died Monday in Seguin.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Aspermont First Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in Aspermont Cemetery, directed by McCoy Funeral Home.
Mrs. Mitchell was born in Stonewall County and was a homemaker. She was a Baptist and was the widow of Olen Mitchell.
Survivors include one daughter, LaVelle Craft of Converse; one son, Ray Mitchell of Carrizo Springs; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Carrie Lou Frasier
GORMAN - Carrie Lou Frasier, 83, lifelong area resident, died Tuesday in an Abilene hospital after a brief illness.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Higginbotham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clarence Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Weaver Cemetery.
Mrs. Frasier was born in Gorman and was a homemaker. She worked at a sewing factory in Dublin before retiring. She was a member of Kokomo Baptist Church and was the widow of Cass Frasier, whom she married in 1935 in Gorman.
Survivors include one daughter, Nina Koonce of Stephenville; two sons, Bennie Frasier of Big Spring and Eddie Frasier of Grape Creek; one sister, Berth Faye Henry of Ozona; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Joy Jones
EDDY, Texas - Joy Jones, 72, formerly of Ranger, died Saturday at her home.
Mass will be said at noon today in St. Rita's Catholic Church in Ranger. Burial will be in Mount Marion Cemetery in Strawn, directed by BrookView Funeral Home of Waco.
Mrs. Jones was born in Ranger, where she grew up, and worked at Ranger Junior College for 20 years. She was a member of St. Rita's Catholic Church in Ranger and attended St. Jerome's Catholic Church in Hewitt.
Survivors include one daughter, Karen Lee Edwards; one son, Ki Jones; her mother, Clyde Boyd; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Lillie Bell Wiley
GUSTINE - Lillie Bell Wiley, 76, formerly of Rotan, died Sunday in a Brownwood hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Weathersbee Funeral Home Chapel in Rotan. Burial will be in Hobbs Cemetery in Rotan.
Mrs. Wiley married Joe Wiley in 1941 in Yuma, Ariz., and was a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband, of Gustine; two sons, Douglas B. Wiley of Reseda, Calif., and Dennis A. Wiley of Roseville, Calif.; two brothers, Roy Bennett of Snyder and LaVele Bennett of Sweetwater; one sister, Geneva George of Snyder; and five grandchildren.

Gladys Biggers
Gladys E. Biggers, 90, died Tuesday at her home after a lengthy illness.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Church of the Heavenly Rest, Episcopal, with the Rev. Rosemary P. Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Memorial Park, directed by North's Funeral Home, 242 Orange.
Mrs. Biggers was born in Abilene and graduated from Waco High School. She co-owned and operated The Chicken Shack for about 15 years and was a former member of the Abilene Country Club, Ladies Golf Association and Pensadoras Study Club. She was a member of Church of the Heavenly Rest, Episcopal, and worked at the church's Thrift House until becoming ill. She was the widow of Frank L. Strange, whom she married in 1927 in Waco; and D.C. Biggers, whom she married in 1961 in Abilene.
Survivors include one daughter, Margaret Ann Brandon of Abilene; one son, Leslie C. Strange of Dallas; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

The family will be at 117 Circle of Holly.

Verda Brabbin Jones
Verda Brabbin Jones, 93, died Tuesday in a local nursing home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Faith, 5701 U.S. Hwy 277 South, with Dr. Cliff Stewart and the Rev. Scott Simpson officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Jones was born in Eastland County and was a homemaker. She moved to Abilene in 1926 from Big Spring. She was a member of Second Baptist Church and was the widow of N.O. Jones, whom she married in 1921 in Cisco.
Survivors include two daughters, Wanda Plowman of Abilene and Judy Brentham of Grand Prairie; three sons, Bobby Jones and Elvis Jones, both of Abilene, and Glenn V. Jones of Arlington; one sister, Verlyne Bosma of Seattle; 23 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be sent to a favorite charity.

Juanita Love Harris
Juanita Love Harris, 83, employed by Abilene State School for 10 years until retiring in 1985, died Wednesday at her home.
Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. today in Elmwood Memorial Park with the Rev. Rick Brann officiating, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory.
Mrs. Harris was born in Belton and graduated from high school in Holland, Texas. She was a homemaker and moved to Abilene in 1939 from Belton. She was a member of the Church of Christ and was the widow of William A. "Dub" Harris, whom she married in 1935 in Temple.
Survivors include one son, William A. "Bill" Harris of Temple; three daughters, Mary Howe of Tuscola, Linda Hebert of Larose, La., and Cheryl Maddox of Abilene; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
