Joshua Allen Bierma
Joshua Allen Bierma, infant son of Michelle Bierma and Terry Bierma, died Wednesday in a Dallas hospital.
Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. today in Elliott-Hamil Garden of Memories Cemetery with Chaplain Gary Carlson officiating, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 5701 U.S. Hwy 277 South.
Other survivors include one brother, Jonathan Bierma; one sister, Catherine Bierma; his paternal grandparents, Bruce and Sandy Bierma of Wheatfield, Ind.; his maternal grandparents, Donnie Daniel, Nancy Daniel, and David and Carla Sager, all of Sweetwater; and his paternal great-grandparents, Martha Bierma of Wheatfield, Ind., and Edward Scheeringa of DeMotte, Ind.

Sibyl Hargrove
GOREE - Sibyl J. Hargrove, 76, died Wednesday in a Seymour hospital.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Goree First Baptist Church with the Rev. Leonard Brothers officiating. Burial will be in Goree Cemetery, directed by McCauley-Smith Funeral Home of Munday.
Mrs. Hargrove was born in Haskell County and lived in Knox County for many years. She married Ira Allen Hargrove in 1940 in Munday and was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, of Goree; two daughters, Elaine Rutledge of Odessa and Beth Randolph of Granbury; two sisters, Delia Craft of Aspermont and Edith Kilgore of Austin; five brothers, Cornelius Strickland of Mabank, Troy Strickland of Fort Worth, Thurman Strickland of Abilene, Preston Strickland of Stamford and Clayton Strickland of Haskell; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Nina McCarty Warren
SWEETWATER - Nina McCarty Warren, 88, died Thursday in a Roscoe nursing home.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Goldthwaite with the Rev. James Baker officiating, directed by Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Mrs. Warren was born in Duffau and was a homemaker. She was a Baptist and was the widow of James Donald Warren Sr., whom she married in 1932 in Mills County.
Survivors include one son, James D. Warren Jr. of Sweetwater; and many nieces and nephews.

Petra Perez
NOVICE - Petra Perez, 26, formerly of Coleman, died Wednesday in a San Angelo hospital.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in Latin American Cemetery in Ballinger with the Rev. Audie Cathey officiating, directed by Stevens Funeral Home of Coleman.
Mrs. Perez was born in San Angelo and attended school in Ballinger and Coleman. She moved to Coleman in 1981 and attended Novice Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Tony Perez of Novice; two sisters, Ruby Trevino of Coleman and Juanita Nieto of Lampasas; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Flora May
ROTAN - Flora J. May, 86, of Houston, whose husband grew up in Hamlin, died Monday in Houston.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Rotan First Baptist Church with the Revs. Thomas Jackson and Werth Mayes officiating. Burial will be in Hamlin Cemetery, directed by Weathersbee Funeral Home.
Mrs. May was born in White Plains, N.Y., and married Parker May in 1936 in Brooklyn, N.Y. She worked as an executive secretary for the U.S. State Department and World Bank in Washington, D.C., Fairfax County Police Department in Fairfax, Va., and Melpar Co. in Falls Church, Va. She lived in the Washington, D.C., area and Jupiter, Fla., before moving to Houston in 1992. She was a member of the McLean Baptist Church in McLean, Va., and was a church youth leader, choir director, and participated in both the church choir and handbell choir.
Survivors include her husband, of Houston; two daughters, Carol Anne May and Judy Elledge, both of Houston; two sons, Tom May of Clifton, Va., and Jay May of New Freedom, Pa.; three grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Willard Otwell Sutton
GORMAN - Willard Otwell Sutton, 78, of Gatesville and formerly of Gorman, died Sunday in a Temple hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Higginbotham Funeral Home Chapel with Durward Webb officiating. Burial will be in Murray Cemetery near Carbon.
Mr. Sutton was born in Carbon and graduated from Carbon High School and Randolph Junior College. He married Peggy Adams in 1941 in Andrews. He was the widower of Irma Sutton. He served with the U.S. Army's Railroad Battalion in Korea and also served with the National Guard's 36th Division for several years. He remarried Peggy Adams in 1963. He worked as a brakeman and conductor for AT&SF Railway from 1941 until retiring in 1971. He returned to Gorman in 1971 and moved to Gatesville in 1996. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, of Gatesville; one son, Patrick Melton Sr. of New Mexico; one daughter, Carole Iten of Minnesota; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Audie Baize
STAMFORD - Audie Baize, 90, died Thursday in a local nursing home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Kinney Funeral Home Chapel with Paige Baize officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Tuxedo.
Mr. Baize was born in Slater in Coryell County and moved to Tuxedo in 1973. He was a retired farmer and later moved to Stamford. He was a member of Tuxedo Church of Christ and was the widower of Annie Bush Baize, whom he married in 1931 in Anson.
Survivors include one son, Gerald Alan Baize of Stamford; one sister, Grace Box of Pecos; two brothers, Novel Baize of Baird and Gale Baize of Lake Coleman; and 21 nieces and nephews.

Waldien Hollis
COLORADO CITY - Waldien Hollis, 77, died Wednesday in a local nursing home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Kiker-Seale Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Bracy officiating. Graveside services will be at 5 p.m. in West Hill Cemetery in Sherman.
Mrs. Hollis was born in Walnut Springs, where she graduated from high school in 1937. She married S.T. Jack Hollis in 1943 in Walnut Springs.
Survivors include her husband, of Colorado City; one daughter, Judy Hollis Lightfoot of Sherman; one brother, C.E. McCain of Midland; two grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Olia Cornell 'Jack' Jackson
JAYTON - Olia Cornell "Jack" Jackson, 87, died Tuesday in a local nursing home.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Jayton Cemetery with the Rev. H.T. Stanaland officiating, directed by McCoy Funeral Home of Aspermont.
Mr. Jackson was born in Henderson and married Via Sutton in 1945 in Jayton. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II and worked as a mechanic. He was a member of the Assembly of God.
Survivors include his wife, of Jayton; one son, Alfred Tucker Jackson of Alpine, Ore.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
