Margarita Gonzales
Margarita Z. Gonzales, 68, died Thursday in a local hospital.
A prayer service will be at 7 p.m. today in Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 U.S. Hwy 277 South. Mass will be said at 9 a.m. Saturday in St. Vincent Pallotti Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Uecker officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Gonzales was born in Chicago and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Vincent Pallotti Catholic Church and was the widow of Raul Gonzales.
Survivors include three daughters, Frances Miranda of Fort Worth, and Sylvia Lopez and Linda Gonzales, both of Abilene; one brother, Roy Gonzales of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and five grandchildren.

Morris Sheppard Sullivan
WINTERS - Morris Sheppard Sullivan, 69, of Abilene and formerly of Winters, died Saturday in an Abilene hospital.
The body was cremated and no services are planned. Arrangements were made by Winters Funeral Home.
Mr. Sullivan was born in Winters and lived in Texas most of his life. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and moved to Abilene in 1977. He worked for Abilene Lumber Co.
Survivors include two sons, Morris Sullivan and Brian Sullivan, both of Orlando, Fla.; one brother, E.R. "Sully" Sullivan of Abilene; two sisters, Altha Norris of Brownwood and Bessie Jo Watson of Abilene; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today in Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory, in Abilene.

James Edward Simpson
MESQUITE - James Edward Simpson, 50, formerly of Abilene, died Monday in a local hospital.
The body was cremated and no services are planned.
Mr. Simpson was born in Hutchison, Kan., where he attended school, and married Nicki Hale in 1969 in Lovington, N.M. He worked as an oilfield x-ray technician in Odessa for about 15 years until becoming ill. He lived in Abilene for about 10 years.
Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Valencia of Mesquite and Simone Frigo of Abilene; three sons, James Simpson Jr. and John Simpson, both of Abilene, and Joe Simpson of Irving; one brother, Johnny Simpson of Nederland; and two grandchildren.
Memorials may be sent to Huntington's Society.

Leo Heidenreich
FORT MYERS, Fla. - Leo K. Heidenreich, 67, formerly of Abilene, died Monday in a local hospital.
Services were held Thursday in Shikany's Bonita Funeral Home Chapel in Bonita Springs, Fla. with the Rev. Thaddeus J. Kloc officiating. Private burial followed.
Mr. Heidenreich served with the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and founded Lentex Petroleum in Abilene. He moved to Fort Myers in 1996 from Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Heidenreich of Fort Myers; five sons, David Heidenreich and James Heidenreich, both of Pittsburgh, Edward Heidenreich of Ohio, Ryan Flynn of Fort Myers and Thomas Flynn of Dallas; three daughters, Michelle Heidenreich of Michigan, Diane Zupansic of Pittsburgh and Debra Flynn of Lomita, Calif.; two brothers, Jack Heidenreich and Paul Heidenreich, both of Pittsburgh; one sister, Sally Philbin of Pittsburgh; and six grandchildren.

Bee Collier Talbott
BALLINGER - Bee Collier Talbott, 82, Ballinger school teacher for 33 years until retiring in 1973, died Thursday in a local nursing home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Rains-Seale Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ferris Akins officiating. Burial will be in Old Runnels Cemetery.
Mrs. Talbott was born in Vera and graduated from Abilene High School in 1932 and the University of North Texas at Denton. She was a Sunday school teacher for 66 years and was a member of First Baptist Church. She was the widow of R.W. "West" Talbott, whom she married in 1941 in Vera.
Survivors include one son, David Talbott of Ballinger; one sister, Helen Randolph of Abilene; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Noland Kelley
STAMFORD - Noland L. Kelley, 83, died Tuesday in a local hospital after a long illness.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Central Presbyterian Church with Dr. Paul McGlasson officiating. Burial will be in Rule Cemetery, directed by Kinney Funeral Home.
Mr. Kelley was born in Rule and married Mary Lou Hopper in 1938 in Houston. He served with the U.S. Army's Medical Division during World War II and purchased a funeral home in Marfa in 1946. He named the business Kelley Funeral Home and it served Marfa, Presidio, Shafter and Fort Davis. He retired upon selling the business in 1987 and then moved to Stamford. He was a former officer of the Rotarian Club, Marfa Chamber of Commerce, and Presidio-Jeff Davis Counties Chapter of the American Red Cross. He also was a former Marfa city councilman and was a member of Central Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife, of Stamford; his twin brother, Roland R. Kelley of Stamford; one sister, Faye Kelley of Stamford; two nephews; and three great-nephews and two great-nieces.

Clyde Grimes
GRAHAM - Clyde H. Grimes, 74, formerly of Breckenridge, died Thursday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Gunsight Baptist Church with Floyd Brown officiating. Burial will be in Hart Cemetery, directed by Melton Funeral Home of Breckenridge.
Mr. Grimes was born in San Angelo and served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He married Juanita Lee Garrett in 1948 in Breckenridge and worked as a child counselor at Girls Town U.S.A. He moved to Graham in 1996 from Whiteface and was a member of Kermit Lions Club and Graham Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8567. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, of Graham; three daughters, Judy Ann Swan of Caldwell, Linda Darlene Gideon of Hobbs, N.M., and Barbara Kay Everett of College Station; two sons, Terry Lee Grimes of Rockdale and Clyde Allan Grimes of Wichita Falls; three brothers, Booter Chaney and Calvin "Bunk" Chaney, both of Breckenridge, and Jessie James Chaney of Wichita Falls; 20 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Gunsight Baptist Church and left at the funeral home.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today in the funeral home.

R.L. 'Bobby' Dudley
MERKEL - R.L. "Bobby" Dudley, 84, died Wednesday in Merkel.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Merkel First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Brad Reeves officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, directed by Starbuck Funeral Home.
Mr. Dudley was born in Loraine and was a farmer and rancher in the Merkel and Trent area for many years until retiring in 1994. He was a 52-year member of Merkel Masonic Lodge 710 and was a Shriner. He was a member of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry Suez Temple in San Angelo and First United Methodist Church, and was the widower of Ruth Duncan Dudley, whom he married in 1933 in Merkel.
Survivors include three daughters, Ann McLean of Waco, Lynda Duncan of Deming, N.M., and Paula Douglass of Irving; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Olene Cliett
COLEMAN - Olene (Mrs. Nathan) Cliett, 87, Coleman fifth-grade teacher for many years, died Sunday in an Austin nursing home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Coleman First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Reed Justus officiating. Burial will be in Coleman Cemetery, directed by Stevens Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cliett was born in Brownwood, where she graduated from high school in 1928, and earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees from Howard Payne University. She married Nathan F. Cliett in 1939 in Brownwood and moved to Coleman in 1941. She was a member of Retired Teachers Association, and United Methodist Women and Aldersgate Guild at First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one grandson, Nathan Frederick Cliett III of Austin; one granddaughter, Chriss Kelly Klobusnik of Austin; and two great-grandchildren.

Ora Mae Foreman
BROWNWOOD - Ora Mae Foreman, 92, lifelong local resident, died Tuesday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kyle Horton officiating. Burial will be in Greenleaf Cemetery.
Mrs. Foreman was born in Brownwood and was a homemaker. She was a member of Belle Plain Baptist Church and was the widow of Earl D. Dodson, whom she married in 1923 in Goldthwaite; and Hubert D. Foreman, whom she married in 1941 in Brownwood.
Survivors include two sons, Earl Dodson of Somerset, Calif., and J.D. Dodson of Stephenville; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
