Alpha Ray Morriss Martin
FLOWER MOUND - Alpha Ray Morriss Martin, 83, mother of a Cisco resident, died Wednesday at her home.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Trinity Presbyterian Church with Dr. Robert S. Hanson officiating. Burial will be in Old Hall Cemetery, directed by Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home of Lewisville.
Mrs. Martin was born in Lewisville, where she attended school. She also attended North Texas State University in Denton and taught second grade in Lewisville for 30 years until retiring in 1980. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, an honorary society for women educators; Retired Teachers Association and Trinity Presbyterian Church. She was the widow of Almon M. Martin, whom she married in 1941 in Lewisville.
Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Scott of Carlsbad, N.M., and Mickey Chambers of Cisco; two sisters, Fay Mezdor of Lewisville and May Patterson of Carlsbad, N.M.; one brother, J.W. Morriss of Flower Mound; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be sent to Trinity Presbyterian Church Education Department and Building Fund, American Cancer Society or Gideon Bible Society.

Dorothy Yazell Rambo
EARLY - Dorothy Yazell Rambo, 91, died Wednesday in a Brownwood nursing home after a lengthy illness.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Brownwood with the Rev. Jerry Galloway officiating. Burial will be in Bangs Cemetery.
Mrs. Rambo was born in Burnet and was a homemaker. She moved to Brown County in 1937. She was a Methodist and was the widow of Earl Yazell, whom she married in 1924 in Lampasas; and Charly Terrel Rambo, whom she married in 1937 in San Angelo.
Survivors include one daughter, Wilma Yazell Tackett of Zephyr; one son, Tex Richard Yazell of Zephyr; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two nieces.
Memorials may be sent to a favorite charity.
Visitation will be from 6:30-8 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Betty Jo Schuermann
HASKELL - Betty Jo Schuermann, 65, of Woodward, Okla., and formerly of Haskell, died Thursday at her home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in East Side Baptist Church with the Revs. David Page and Kenneth Blair officiating. Burial will be in Willow Cemetery, directed by Holden-McCauley Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Schuermann was born in Haskell and married Eldon Lee Schuermann in 1964 in Clayton, N.M. She was a homemaker. She moved, in 1976, to Woodward, Okla., where she was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, of Woodward, Okla.; three sons, Billy Holmes and Doug Holmes, both of Beaver, Okla., and Tracy Schuermann of Woodward, Okla.; four daughters, Joan Johnson of Goodwell, Okla., Lisa Pettyjohn of Enid, Okla., Cheryl Wright of New Kirk, Okla., and Janis Gee of Perryton; her mother, Nellie Bird of Haskell; two brothers, Tommy Bird and Wallace Bird, both of Haskell; two sisters, Marie Solomon of Monahans and Sue Smith of Goodwell, Okla.; 22 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Lollie McCoy
SWEETWATER - Lollie McCoy, 93, died Thursday in a local retirement center.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in McCoy Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with Dr. Joel McCoy and the Rev. Malcolm Brown officiating. Graveside services will be at 4:30 p.m. in Lamesa Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. McCoy was born in Weaver and lived in Burkburnett from 1947-55. She moved to Sweetwater in 1971 from Lamesa. She was a member of First Baptist Church and was the widow of the Rev. Roy McCoy, whom she married in 1921 in Anson.
Survivors include three daughters, Helen Costin of Sweetwater, Mary Klink of Henderson and Lois Hardy of Irvin; two sisters, Gertie Barnes of Riverside, Calif., and Dell Cox of Plano; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Maxine Kuehler
RHINELAND - Maxine Kuehler, 65, of Seymour and formerly of Rhineland, died Thursday in a Wichita Falls hospital.
Mass will be said at 4:30 p.m. today in St. Joseph's Catholic Church with the Rev. Jeremy Myers officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, directed by McCauley-Smith Funeral Home of Munday.
Mrs. Kuehler was born in Knox County and was a homemaker. She moved to Seymour from Rhineland and was the widow of Larry Anthony Kuehler, whom she married in 1957 in Rhineland.
Survivors include four daughters, Sherry Hons of Seymour, Pat Kuehler and Corrine Richter, both of Burkburnett, and Karen Kuehler of Wichita Falls; two sons, Mark Kuehler of Gilliland and Tim Kuehler of Seymour; two sisters, Bobbie Grisham and Wanda Pruitt, both of Wichita Falls; three brothers, Glen D. Henson of Odessa, Billy Ray Henson of Fort Worth and Jimmy Henson of Little Elm; and nine grandchildren.

B.C. Johnson
B.C. Johnson, 89, died Friday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Allen-Korzenewski Funeral Home Chapel, 1443 N. 2nd, with Lloyd Couch officiating. Burial will be in Hamby Cemetery.
Mr. Johnson was born in Bowls Ranch and attended Abilene High School. He married Ruby Lou Crews in 1931 in Albany. He worked as a machinist for many years and helped build Camp Barkeley and other U.S. Army camps in Texas and Oklahoma during World War II. He was a retired employee of Hendrick Medical Center and was a 53-year member of Masonic Lodge 559.
Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Lajunta Johnson Farmer; three grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

Frances Phelps
Frances Phelps, 75, died Thursday in a local hospital.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Cedar Hill Cemetery with Dr. Robert Giles officiating, directed by Curtis-Starks Funeral Home, 542 E.N. 7th.
Mrs. Phelps was born in Hubbard, where she attended school, and moved to Taylor County in 1957. She worked as a presser for American Cleaners for many years and was a Baptist.
Survivors include one daughter, Evelyn Willis of Abilene; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one aunt; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The family will be at 2757 Grape.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.

Frances Zonelle Duke
FORT WORTH - Frances Zonelle Duke, 79, formerly of Knox County, died Thursday in Fort Worth.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday in Greenwood Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. in Goree Cemetery.
Mrs. Duke was born in Knox County and grew up in Bomarton and Goree. She was a homemaker and moved to Fort Worth in 1968. She worked at Munday High School and Clay's Cleaners in Fort Worth for many years until retiring in 1983. She was a member of Northwest Church of Christ at Lake Worth.
Survivors include two sons, Rex C. Brown of Lubbock and Don W. Duke of Fort Worth; four daughters, Elaine Pleiss of El Cajon, Calif., and Jerilyn Miller, Peggy Carter and Frankie Carlile, all of Fort Worth; three brothers, Charles Donoho and Max Donoho, both of California, and Doug Donoho of Munday; 15 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be sent to American Heart Association, 149 N. Willis, Abilene 79603; or a favorite charity.

Inez Evelyn Cotton
ROSCOE - Inez Evelyn Cotton, 78, died Thursday in an Abilene hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Roscoe Church of Christ with Phil Collard officiating. Burial will be in Roscoe Cemetery, directed by McCoy Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cotton was born in Evadale and married Johnnie B. Cotton in 1936 in Brady. She was a homemaker and moved to Roscoe in 1947. She worked as a bookkeeper in the family's business, Nolan County Implement, and was a volunteer at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital in Sweetwater. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, of Roscoe; two daughters, Helen Martin of Champion and Linda Juhan of Atlanta; one son, Jimmy Cotton of Roscoe; eight sisters and two brothers; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
