Edna George Dillard
SEMINOLE - Edna George Dillard, 86, formerly of Lubbock, died Saturday at a local care center.
Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. today in Decker Cemetery in Decker, directed by Roger Pool Funeral Home.
Mrs. Dillard was born in Blackwell and was a beautician in Lubbock for more than 40 years. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Lubbock and moved to Seminole in 1994. She married I.Z. "Ag" Dillard in Blackwell; he preceded her in death.
Survivors include several relatives, including Nadine Moore and Rosaland Colleyer of Abilene and Jewel George of Sweetwater.
Family and friends are asked to meet at McCoy Funeral Home in Sweetwater at 11 a.m. today.

Clyde 'Ben' Wilson
CLYDE - Clyde W. "Ben" Wilson, 82, of North Richland Hills and formerly of Clyde, died Sunday at a North Richland Hills hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Edwards officiating. Burial will be in Clyde Cemetery.
Mr. Wilson was born in Jonesboro and moved to Clyde in 1945. He lived in Cisco and Breckenridge before moving to Abilene in 1993 and North Richland Hills in 1996. He attended school in Mineral Wells and operated a poultry farm in Clyde until retiring. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, a 32nd-degree Mason and a member of Scottish Rite and Shriners. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He married Ardinelle "Nellie" Burdick in 1942 in Coleman.
Survivors include his wife, of North Richland Hills; two grandsons and two great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. today.

Nancy 'New' Thate
COLEMAN - Nancy "New" Thate, 51, of Burkett died Sunday at a Temple hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Concho Baptist Church with the Rev. Sam Tomlinson and Dr. Charles Sheffield officiating. Burial will be in Coleman City Cemetery, directed by Heartland Funeral Home of Early.
Mrs. Thate was born in Coleman, where she attended school and lived all her life. She was a bookkeeper for Central Texas Opportunities and a member of the Worship Center of Brownwood.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Thate of Burkett; one son, Chuck New of Coleman; and four grandchildren.
The body will be at Stevens Funeral Home this afternoon and Tuesday morning. The family will be at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. today.

Mabel Lancaster
RISING STAR - Mabel Lancaster, 84, died Friday at her home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Higginbotham Funeral Home Chapel with Jerry Leslie officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Valley Cemetery.
Mrs. Lancaster was born in Merkel and lived in Rising Star most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of May Church of Christ. She married Newton Mark Lancaster in 1933 in May; he preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, Glen Roy Lancaster of Dallas and Terry Ray Lancaster of Rising Star; one daughter, Peggy Ribble of May; one sister, Vera Sudderth of Grand Prairie; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Lorene Stewart
COMANCHE - Lorene A. Stewart, 85, died Sunday at a local nursing home.
Services will be at 4 p.m. today at Hall & Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Van Christian and the Rev. Sherly Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Stewart was born in Comanche and was a retired grocery store owner. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She married Ned Stewart in 1930 in Comanche; he preceded her in death.
Survivors include one sister, Opal Wilson of Comanche; and one niece.
Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity.

Rev. Bill Johnson
BROWNWOOD - The Rev. Bill Johnson, 82, died Sunday at his home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Southside Baptist Church with the Revs. Bill Wells and James Gibson officiating. Burial will be in Eastlawn Memorial Park, directed by Davis-Morris Funeral Home.
Rev. Johnson was born in Beaumont and was a Baptist minister for more than 50 years. He came to Brownwood in 1968 and pastored Melwood Baptist Church. He also pastored Southside Baptist Church in Brownwood and Concord Baptist Church south of Bangs, where he was a member. He married Nora Mae Hinson in 1935 in Jasper.
Survivors include his wife, of Brownwood; two daughters, Pat Roark of Blanket and Billie Bolton of Beaumont; one brother, Gordon Johnson of Freeport; seven grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home from 6-7:30 p.m. today.

James Allen Moore
James Allen Moore, 59, a resident of San Angelo State School in Carlsbad, died Saturday at a San Angelo hospital.
Graveside services were Monday in Elmwood Memorial Park with Chaplain Gil Nemeth and the Rev. Keith Davidson officiating, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 5701 Hwy. 277 South.
Mr. Moore was born in Abilene and graduated from Jayton High School in 1956. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his mother, Ruby Moore of Sweetwater; one sister, Lylia Bennett of Sweetwater; and two nephews.
Memorials may be made to the San Angelo State School, P.O. Box 38, Carlsbad TX 76934; or to the donor's favorite charity.

Sarah Lucille Nunnally
Sarah Lucille Nunnally, 94, died Saturday at a local nursing home.
Services were Monday at Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 Hwy. 277 South, with Kevin Kennedy officiating. Burial was in Elmwood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Nunnally was born in Merkel and lived in Abilene from 1922-1949, later moving to New Mexico. She owned her own business for 30 years, retiring at age 78. She married Sam J. Nunnally in 1927; he preceded her in death.
Survivors include two brothers, Ralph Russell and S.G. Russell, both of Merkel; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Ludelle Wade Roberson
Ludelle Wade Roberson, 76, a native of Lawn, died Saturday in Lake Charles, La.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Hixson Funeral Home Chapel in Lake Charles with the Rev. Dan Flowers officiating. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Dewey Cemetery near Lawn with the Rev. Price Mathieson officiating, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory.
Mrs. Roberson was born in Lawn and was a longtime resident of Lake Charles. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Lake Charles, where she was a Sunday school teacher for 30 years. She was active in International Seamen's Ministry through Carey Baptist Association. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star chapter in Winters.
Survivors include her husband, J.V. Roberson of Lake Charles; two sons, Robert A. Roberson of Colleyville and J. Dwight Roberson of College Park, Md.; one daughter, Marcha (Mrs. David) Talton of Claremont, Calif.; and six grandchildren.

The family will be at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday.
