CISCO - J.D. "Dan" Notgrass, 90, died Tuesday in an Eastland nursing home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Kimbrough Funeral Home Chapel with Milton Underwood officiating. Burial will be in Nimrod Cemetery.
Mr. Notgrass was born in Eastland County and married Elva Pierce in Eastland. He was a farmer and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, of Cisco; one sister, Eunice Marsh of Comanche; and several nephews and nieces.

Lanny Eroy Cawthron
SNYDER - Lanny Eroy Cawthron, 49, formerly of Colorado City, died Monday in a Lubbock hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Kiker-Seale Funeral Home Chapel in Colorado City with the Rev. Fred Smith officiating. Burial will be in Loraine Cemetery.
Mr. Cawthron was born in Colorado City and worked as a dispatcher and truck driver. He married Ruth Ann Byrd in 1996 in Ira.
Survivors include his wife, of Snyder; one son, Bobby Cawthron of College Station; one daughter, Tricia Allen of Grand Prairie; two stepsons, Tim Shafer of Iowa Park and Will Shafer of Spur; two stepdaughters, Lorre Shafer of Iowa Park and Michelle Shafer of Spur; his father, Raymond Williamson of Colorado City; one brother, Billy Ray Williamson of Colorado City; and three grandchildren.

Mary Fitzgerald
MUNDAY - Mary L. Fitzgerald, 93, died Monday in a Knox City nursing home.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Johnson Memorial Cemetery with Jeff Christian officiating, directed by McCauley-Smith Funeral Home.
Mrs. Fitzgerald was born in Jack County and was a retired clerk of a dry goods store. She was a member of the Church of Christ and was the widow of Jerome C. "Kirby" Fitzgerald, whom she married in 1926 in Benjamin.
Survivors include one sister, Ozelle Kilgore of Benjamin; and several nieces and nephews.

Johnnie Mae Barron
CALABASAS, Calif. - Johnnie Mae Barron, 69, formerly of Colorado City, died Monday in California.
Private services will be held.
Mrs. Barron was born in Colorado City, where she graduated from high school in 1944, and attended Texas Tech University. She married Bob Barron in 1947 in Lubbock and was a homemaker. She also worked as a secretary.
Survivors include her husband, of Calabasas; three sons, Bruce Barron of Petaluma, Calif., Mark Barron of Saugus, Calif., and Mike Barron of St. Louis; one daughter, Kathy Barron of Chatsworth, Calif.; one sister, Linda Baum of Colorado City; five grandchildren; and one aunt.

Nora Ardie Minatra
Nora Ardie Minatra, 77, died Tuesday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 4 p.m. today in Allen-Korzenewski Funeral Home Chapel, 1443 N. 2nd, with the Rev. H.B. Terry Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Tuscola Cemetery.
Mrs. Minatra was born in Tuscola and graduated as the valedictorian of Tuscola High School in 1938. She moved to Abilene in 1955 from Tuscola and worked for Timex and Texas Instruments. She was a member of the Rebeccah Lodge in Tuscola and Tuscola First Baptist Church, and was the widow of N.J. Minatra, whom she married in 1938 in Tuscola.
Survivors include four sons, Kenneth Minatra of Del Rio, James Minatra of Clyde, Coy Minatra of Oklahoma City and Pat Minatra of Abilene; five brothers, H.A. Swindle of Junction, Wayne Swindle and Lee Swindle, both of Abilene, Lloyd Swindle of Cisco and Bill Swindle of Tuscola; one sister, Sleeta Edwards of Coleman; 18 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.

Louisa Ysa
Louisa G. Ysa, 81, died Tuesday in a local hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. today in Tuscola Cemetery, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory.
Mrs. Ysa was born in Yorktown and moved to Abilene in 1962 from Tyna. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Foursquare Gospel Church and was the widow of Francisco Ysa.
Survivors include two sons, Frank Ysa of Bradshaw and Lorenzo Ysa of Abilene; five daughters, Olivia Gutierrez of Mathis, and Lupe Carreno, Hortensia Gonzalez, Gloria Chavez and Cynthia Beaver, all of Abilene; three brothers, Cipriano Gonzales of Houston, and Alex Viddurri and Juan Viddurri, both of Abilene; four sisters, Soyla Sanchez, Rosa Martinez and Lupe Viddurri, all of Tuscola, and Lily Flores of Lubbock; 36 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

David Lee Terrell
LUBBOCK - David Lee Terrell, 48, brother of an Abilene resident, died Monday from injuries received in a plane crash in Albany.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Trinity Church with the Revs. Rob Winkler and Mike Beale officiating. Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery, directed by Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
Mr. Terrell was born in Weatherford and married Vicki Mayes in 1967 in Ralls. He graduated from Ralls High School in 1967 and Texas Tech University. He moved to Lubbock in 1994 from Mission Viejo, Calif., and formerly worked for Procter and Gamble and Duracell Battery Co. He was president and chief executive officer of Valley Resources Inc., Mid-Texas Petroleum, Triple T Well Service and Hoi-Polli's LLC, and operated business offices in both Lubbock and Abilene. He also was founder and co-owner of Kelley Fudge Co. He was a former member of Mission Hills Christian Church and School Board in Mission Viejo, Calif. He served on the financial board at Trinity Church.
Survivors include his wife, of Lubbock; one son, Timothy Lee Terrell of Lubbock; two daughters, Trae Diede of Bozeman, Mont., and Trinity Terrell of Lubbock; his parents, R.B. and Nellie Ruth Terrell of Lubbock; one sister, Jackie Stultz of Abilene; his grandmother, Bessie Cogburn of Lubbock; and three grandchildren.

Lottie Ruth Traylor
CREWS - Lottie Ruth Traylor, 95, of Fort Worth and formerly of Crews, died Wednesday in a Fort Worth nursing home.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Crews Cemetery with Corky Karkalits officiating, directed by Winters Funeral Home of Winters.
Mrs. Traylor was born in Mills County and moved to Runnels County as a child. She was a homemaker. She was a member of South Hills Baptist Church in Fort Worth and was the widow of Wallace "B" Traylor, whom she married in 1926 in Abilene.
Survivors include one daughter, Bobbye Karkalits of Fort Worth; one brother, Thea Lucas of Glen Rose; and one sister, Ruth Rogers of San Angelo.

Milard Herweck
RANGER - Milard W. Herweck, 78, charter member of Eastside Baptist Church, died Monday in a Stephenville hospital after a lengthy illness.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. T. Nathan Tucker officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Herweck was born in Ardmore, Okla., and attended school in Ranger and Odessa. He married Jean McClesky in 1942 in Breckenridge. He worked in the family's mattress factory and later operated it until retiring in 1996.
Survivors include his wife, of Ranger; two sons, Milard Herweck Jr. of Hawley and Richard Lewis Herweck of Austin; one daughter, Mary Ann King of Ranger; one sister, Cordelia McElroy of Wichita Falls; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Doris Howard Lloyd
WINTERS - Doris Howard Lloyd, 68, died Sunday in an Abilene hospital.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Shep Cemetery with Rick Cobb officiating. Arrangements were made by Winters Funeral Home.
Ms. Lloyd was born in Shep, where she lived most of her life, and worked as a bookkeeper. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include two daughters, Cheri Garza of Winters and Celeste Johnson of Mesquite; one sister, Dale Ferguson of Houston; seven grandchildren; and three aunts.
Memorials may be sent to North Main Street Church of Christ in Winters.
