Edna White
BROWNWOOD -- Edna (Mrs. Floyd) White, 78, died Tuesday in an Abilene hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Austin Avenue Church of Christ with Jerry Leslie officiating. Burial will be in Eastlawn Memorial Park, directed by Davis-Morris Funeral Home.
Mrs. White was born in Lamesa and grew up near Bangs. She lived in Brown County most of her life and married Floyd White in 1938 in Brownwood. She was a homemaker and was a member of Austin Avenue Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, of Brownwood; three sons, Charles Wayne White of Lexington, Ky., Don White of Brownwood and Myron White of Lubbock; four sisters, Mattie Lee Alley of Houston, Odessa Clark of Brownwood, Dorothy Englert of Fort Stockton and Betty Jo Pierce of Bangs; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 7-8:30 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Johnie Olden Vaughn
RANGER -- Johnie Olden Vaughn, 100, of Longview and formerly of Ranger, died Tuesday in Longview.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in First Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Lonnie Jordan and Ken Colegrove officiating. Burial will be in Merriman Cemetery, directed by Edwards Funeral Home.
Mr. Vaughn was born in Winfield, Ala., and formerly worked as a mechanic and body repairman for Levelle Ford Motor Co. and Reynolds Motor Co., both in Ranger. He was the widower of Nettie Vaughn.
Survivors include one son, Doyle Vaughn of Fort Worth; one daughter, Lavada Walder of Longview; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Jackie Wayne Everett
THROCKMORTON -- Jackie Wayne Everett, 61, of Grand Prairie and formerly of Throckmorton, died Wednesday in an Arlington hospital.
Services will be at 5 p.m. Friday in Throckmorton Church of Christ with the Revs. Duane Johnson and Cliff Lester officiating. Burial will be in Elbert Cemetery, directed by Merriman-Archer Funeral Home.
Mr. Everett was born in Trent and married Floy Sue Cribbs in 1955 in Throckmorton. He moved to Grand Prairie in 1963 from Archer City and was a retired truck driver.
Survivors include his wife, of Grand Prairie; one son, Bobby Jack Everett of Arlington; two daughters, Cathryn Lynn Watson of Grand Prairie and Susan Jean McKee of Throckmorton; his parents, Ardon and Ruby Lee Everett of Throckmorton; and six grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Elbert Cemetery Association or American Cancer Society and left at the funeral home.

Sammie Neal Jr.
CISCO -- Sammie Neal Jr., 55, died Tuesday at his home.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Greater St. Mark Baptist Church. Burial will be in Littlefield Cemetery, directed by Kimbrough Funeral Home.
Mr. Neal was born in El Paso and served with the U.S. Army as a combat engineer in Korea. He worked at Thornton Feed Mill in Cisco and was a member of Greater St. Mark Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Kitty Neal of Amarillo; five brothers, Tom Cargill and John Perry Fletcher, both of Clovis, N.M., Melvin Fletcher of Amherst, David Ray Jordan of Cisco and Samuel Fletcher Jr. of Littlefield; one sister, Verna Dean Fletcher Hampton of Littlefield; and three grandchildren.

Charlotte Conner Esposito
Charlotte Conner Esposito, 75, died Thursday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 542 Hickory, with the Rev. James Zug officiating. Burial will be in Willow Cemetery in Haskell.
Mrs. Esposito was born in Rule and lived in Abilene most of her life. She attended Abilene High School. She married Albert F. Esposito in 1946 in Abilene and was a homemaker. She was a member of First Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband, of Abilene; three sons, Mike Pollard of Austin, Dr. John F. Esposito of El Paso and Roddy Esposito of McAllen; one daughter, Maryanna Milano of Clearwater, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Fannie Addie Beacham
Fannie Addie Beacham, 91, died Wednesday at her home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in North's Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, 4002 Buffalo Gap Road, with Dr. H.O. Wynne officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Beacham was born in Cameron, where she grew up, and moved to Hamilton in 1923 and Abilene in 1941. She worked as a home caregiver in Abilene for more than 20 years. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and was the widow of Hiram Beacham, whom she married in 1923.
Survivors include one daughter, Helen Church of Abilene; two sons, Curtis K. Beacham of Stonington, Conn., and Glen Beacham of Conroe; one brother, Jim Kirk of El Campo; 16 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

The body will be at the funeral home's 242 Orange location until 1 p.m. today, when it will be moved to the 4002 Buffalo Gap Road location.

Will Rogers Jr.
Will Rogers Jr., 70, died Thursday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Macedonia Baptist Church with the Rev. Kendall R. White officiating. Burial will be in Oddfellows Cemetery, directed by Curtis-Starks Funeral Home, 542 E.N. 7th.
Mr. Rogers was born in Brenham and attended school in Abilene. He also attended Prairie View College and was a masonry contractor. He served with U.S. Army during World War II. He returned to Taylor County in 1954 and married Vernell Beaty in 1958 in San Angelo. He was retired from General Dynamics. He was a longtime supporter of the Woodson football team and band boosters club, American Cancer Society, United Fund, Heart Fund, and Boy and Girl Scouts. He was a member of the Sidewinders Club and was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, of Abilene; two daughters, Tracey Rogers of Houston and Sherry Lee of Abilene; one son, Kemo Rogers of Houston; one sister, Deltesser Green of Abilene; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives.
The family will be at 2409 Marsalis.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Floy Key
Floy Key, 81, died Thursday in a local hospital.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Potosi Cemetery with Dr. Jeff Reid officiating, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory.
Mr. Key was born in Potosi and graduated from Wylie High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran and worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Abilene for 13-1/2 years until retiring in 1979. He was a member of Pioneer Drive Baptist Church and was the widower of Margaret Christine Talley Key, whom he married in 1950 in Abilene.
Survivors include one brother, Horace Max Key of Potosi; one sister, Hattie Belle Jones of Sacramento, Calif.; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Alice Jewel Hollowell
Alice Jewel Hollowell, 82, of Lubbock and formerly of Abilene, died Tuesday in a Lubbock nursing home.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Caps Baptist Church with the Rev. Kenneth Jones and Donald Valenta officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Memorial Park, directed by Allen-Korzenewski Funeral Home, 1443 N. 2nd.
Mrs. Hollowell was born in Taylor County and was a homemaker. She moved to Lubbock in 1985 from Abilene. She was a member of Caps Baptist Church and was the widow of Marvin E. Hollowell, whom she married in 1937 in Taylor County.
Survivors include one brother, Jack Blanks of Baytown; and one sister, Billie McCormick of Lubbock.
