Josephine Carr
ANSON -- Josephine Carr, 88, died Monday in Rowlett.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Mount Hope Cemetery with the Rev. Lee Welch officiating, directed by Lawrence-Adams Funeral Home.
Ms. Carr was born in Anson, where she graduated from high school, and attended Hardin-Simmons University. She lived most of her life in Dallas and was a member of Highland Baptist Church.
Survivors include one sister, Frances Mildred Thomas of Abilene; and two nieces and one nephew.

Bessie Clack
MERKEL -- Bessie Clack, 97, died Tuesday in Merkel.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Merkel First Baptist Church with the Revs. Larry Howard and Jimmy Griffith officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, directed by Starbuck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Clack was born in Emmitt, Okla., and was a homemaker. She was a charter member of the Merkel Senior Citizens. She was a church clerk and Sunday school secretary at First Baptist Church, and was the widow of Elbert Ross Clack, whom she married in 1916 in Durant, Okla.
Survivors include one son, Morris Clack of Abilene; one daughter, Nadine Howard of Merkel; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Albert Vernay Teague
HASKELL -- Albert Vernay Teague, 60, lifelong local resident, died Monday in a Wichita Falls hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today in East Side Baptist Church with the Rev. David Page and Dr. Troy Culpepper officiating. Burial will be in Willow Cemetery, directed by Holden-McCauley Funeral Directors.
Mr. Teague was born in Haskell and was a farmer. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include one son, Jeffery Evan Teague of Haskell; two stepchildren, Jackie Wahler of Richardson and Carl Mayfield of Brownfield; his mother, Linnie Marie Hise of Haskell; his stepmother, Viola Teague of Abilene; his step grandmother, Jewel Baggett of Haskell; three grandchildren; and four step grandchildren.

William Bernard Moody
ANGLETON -- William Bernard Moody, 79, formerly of Abilene, died Tuesday in Angleton.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Second Baptist Church with C.E. Tipton officiating. Burial will be in Angleton Cemetery, directed by Palms Funeral Home.
Mr. Moody was born in Lolita and moved to Angleton in 1954. He was a U.S. Army veteran and worked as an electrician for Dow Chemical for 31 years until retiring. He then helped start and operate Moody and Son Service until his death. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10378 and was a charter member of Second Baptist Church. He was the widower of Bobbie Moody.
Survivors include two sons, William E. Moody of Clear Lake and Glen Moody of Angleton; and four grandchildren.

Catherine Marie 'Cathi' Bailey
TUSCOLA -- Catherine Marie "Cathi" Bailey, 35, who owned and operated All My Friends Day Care Center in Tuscola, died Sunday at an Abilene hospital after a traffic accident near Merkel.
Services will be at 4 p.m. today at Tuscola Church of Christ with Tom Bailey officiating. Burial will be in Tuscola Cemetery, directed by Fry-Bartlett Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bailey was born in Breckenridge and graduated from Follett High School. She moved to Tuscola in 1991 from Rogers, Ark., and was a member of Lawn Church of Christ. She married Randy Bailey in 1979 in Darrouzett.
Survivors include her husband, of Tuscola; two sons, Zachary Bailey and Joshua Bailey, both of Tuscola; two daughters, Cari Bailey and Cati Bailey, both of Tuscola; her parents, Joe and Wanda Fonville of Granbury; one brother, Joseph Fonville of Arlington; two sisters, Sandra Criswell of Granbury and Tammy Johnson of Kermit; her grandparents, Mary Jane Pannell of Granbury and Katie Fonville Ball of Breckenridge; her step grandfather, Ralph Ball of Breckenridge; and 11 nieces and nephews.

Louis Paul Hinojosa
BROWNWOOD -- Louis Paul Hinojosa, infant son of Louis and Diana Hinojosa of Brownwood, died Monday in a Fort Worth hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Eastlawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Dan Wright officiating, directed by Heartland Funeral Home of Early.
Other survivors include one sister, Miranda Hinojosa of Brownwood; one half-brother, Jonathan Moreno of Brownwood; two half-sisters, Julie Hinojosa and Ashley Moreno, both of Brownwood; his grandparents, Ray and Alberta Moreno, and Cosme Hinojosa, all of Brownwood; his great-grandparents, Delores Moreno of Brownwood and Lupe Barrigan of Lancaster; and four aunts and one uncle.

Isabelle Hendrix
COMANCHE -- Isabelle Hendrix, 93, died Monday in a De Leon hospital.
Services were held Tuesday in Comanche Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jackie Auvenshine and Billy James Gressett officiating. Burial was in Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Comanche County.
Mrs. Hendrix married Charlie Hendrix in 1926 in Van Dyke and was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Dorothy Loudermilk of Comanche County; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Jose 'Angel' Hernandez Sr.
BROWNWOOD -- Jose "Angel" Hernandez Sr., 83, died Sunday in a local hospital.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today in Heartland Funeral Home Chapel in Early. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Mary's Catholic Church with Msgr. Benedict Zientek officiating. Burial will be in Eastlawn Memorial Park.
Mr. Hernandez was born in Lohn.
Survivors include one daughter, Suzanna Contreras of Fort Worth; three sisters, Carolina Fuentes of San Jose, Calif., Trinidad Barrera of Brady and Luisa Valadez of Brownwood; 20 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Retired Senior Master Sgt. Leon 'L.C.' Evans
Retired Senior Master Sgt. Leon C. "L.C." Evans, 79, died Monday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today in North's Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, 4002 Buffalo Gap Road, with John Lassiter and Bob Shipley officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Memorial Park.
Mr. Evans was born in Mississippi, where he grew up, and was in the U.S. Air Force for 22 years until retiring in 1962. He worked in civil service in Little Rock, Ark., and Tucson, Ariz. He moved to Abilene in 1964 and was an insurance agent and television repairman. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and Wylie Church of Christ, and was the widower of Catherine E. Evans, whom he married in 1948 in Chandler, Ariz.
Survivors include one son, William Evans of Morton, Miss.; one daughter, Jeanie Smith of Jackson, Miss.; one stepdaughter, Jackie Shaffer of Urbana, Ohio; two brothers, Tom B. Evans of Orangevale, Calif., and William S. Evans of Greenville, Miss.; one sister, Etta Riley of Crestview, Fla.; four grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
The family will be at 2160 S. 34th.

Loys Stull Robinett
Loys Stull Robinett, 71, died Thursday in a local hospital.
The body was cremated. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Pioneer Drive Baptist Church fellowship hall with Dr. George Gaston officiating, directed by North's Funeral Home, 242 Orange.
Mrs. Robinett was born in Eugene, Ore., and grew up in Phillips Camp. She graduated from Frank Phillips Junior College and married W.L. Robinett in Borger. She moved to New Mexico in 1959 and was a member of Order of the Eastern Star and First Christian Church in Lovington, N.M.
Survivors include three daughters, Adonna Robinett and Misty Connelly, both of Abilene, and Georganna Robinett of Lubbock; two sons, Homer Robinett of Tucumcari, N.M., and Lenwood Connelly of Abilene; one sister, Lillian Hansen of Tulsa, Okla.; one grandchild; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will be at 1149 Vine.
