Barclay 'Buck' Mosley
PRIDDY -- Barclay A. "Buck" Mosley, 60, died Thursday at his home.
The body was cremated. Arrangements were made by Heartland Funeral Home of Early.
Mr. Mosley was born in Moses Lake, Wash., and attended school in Washington. He married Beth Priest in 1984 in Clayton, N.M., and worked as a cowboy. He moved to the Zephyr-Priddy area in 1992.
Survivors include his wife, of Priddy; one son, John W. Mosley of Genesee, Idaho; three daughters, Sandy Mosley of Washington state, and Kristal Blakely and Rhonda Blakely, both of Priddy; his mother, Katherine Pruett of Courtland, Va.; one sister, Susan Landers of Courtland, Va.; and one grandchild.
Memorials may be sent to Walker Cancer Center.

Stephanie Motyka
BROWNWOOD -- Stephanie Motyka, 71, died Tuesday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Heartland Funeral Home Chapel in Early. The body will be cremated.
Mrs. Motyka was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and was a homemaker. She moved to Brownwood in 1985 from Hackettstown, N.J., and was the widow of Raymond W. Kelly and Stanley Motyka.
Survivors include four sons, Michael Kelly, Stanley Motyka and Victor Motyka, all of Hackettstown, N.J., and John Cristole of Florida; five daughters, Stephanie Laptosh of Charles Town, W.Va., Mariann Paravagna of New York, Andrea Pridgen of San Antonio, Jean Carroll of Dallas and Victoria Gordon of Hackettstown, N.J.; one half-sister, Mary DePaolo of New York; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A.J. 'Andy' Stone
GRANBURY -- A.J. "Andy" Stone, 81, owner and operator of a theater in Stamford, died Thursday at his home.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in Acton Cemetery, directed by Wiley Funeral Home.
Mr. Stone was born in Lone Wolf, Okla., and worked as a theater manager in Texas until retiring. He moved to Granbury in 1988.
Survivors include one daughter, Andrea Stone Smith of Granbury; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Memorials may be sent to American Heart Association or Columbia Hospice.

Marlene Grimsley
BROWNWOOD -- Marlene O. Grimsley, 61, died Thursday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today in New Life Assembly of God with the Rev. Kason C. Huddleston officiating. Burial will be in Indian Creek Cemetery, directed by Heartland Funeral Home of Early.
Mrs. Grimsley was born in Cincinnati, where she married Charles Grimsley, and worked as a special education school teacher for several years.
Survivors include her husband, of Brownwood; three sons, Charles Grimsley Jr. of Huddson, Wisc., Sterling Grimsley of St. Paul, Minn., and Britt Grimsley of Nashville, Tenn.; and four grandchildren.

Verna Corrine Krinke Raphelt
Verna Corrine Krinke Raphelt, 68, died Thursday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Zion Lutheran Church with the Rev. Lavern Janssen officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Memorial Park, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory.
Mrs. Raphelt was born in Burton and graduated from Old Glory High School and Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls. She married Willie Carl Raphelt in 1949 in Sagerton and taught school in Sonora for 15 years before moving to Abilene in 1987. She was a member of the Key City and Wagon Wheel square dance clubs, Sunshine Club of the extension service and was active in the Lutheran Women's Missionary League at Zion Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband, of Abilene; two sons, Nolan Keith Raphelt of Vicksburg, Miss., and Garland Lynn Raphelt of Arlington; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Jamie Lynn McClintock
Jamie Lynn McClintock, 26, formerly of Merkel, died Thursday in Abilene.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Monday in Merkel First United Methodist Church with the Revs. David McNary and Greg Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Merkel, directed by Starbuck Funeral Home of Merkel.
Mr. McClintock was born in Irving and graduated from Merkel High School in 1990. He worked as a custodian through a shelter workshop program for the Abilene State School and was a member of Merkel First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his parents, Rodney Lynn and Susan Ellen McNary McClintock of Merkel; one sister, Beth Borrego of Merkel; his maternal grandparents, Arthur and Katherine McNary of Merkel; his paternal grandparents, Charles and Louis Barney of Kaufman; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Gaston Boatright
WINTERS -- Gaston Boatright, 80, died Friday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. today in Winters Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Gehrels officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery.
Mr. Boatright was born in Austin and moved to Runnels County at age 17. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II and worked for C.L. Green Milling in Winters for 20 years. He later drove a propane truck for J.R. Sims and Sons. He also was employed by Bill Moore Plumbing for many years. He was a Methodist and was the widower of Shirley Harris Boatright, whom he married in 1958 in Winters.
Survivors include one son, Benny Boatright of Abilene; two brothers, Mike Boatright of Winters and Ted Boatright of Smithville; and one sister, Ann Haines of Christoval.

H.W. 'Dick' Rodgers
SNYDER -- H.W. "Dick" Rodgers, 80, employed by Scurry County Precinct 1 for 34 years until retiring, died Friday in a local hospital after a lengthy illness.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Northside Baptist Church with the Rev. Bob Rhodes officiating. Burial will be in Snyder Cemetery, directed by Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Mr. Rodgers was born in Pine Hill and married Arlie Burklow in 1939 in Roscoe. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, of Snyder; four daughters, Joan Burney of Snyder, Connie Cage of Lubbock, Joyce Drake of Frisco and Karen Morgenson of Brownfield; one son, Bob Rodgers of Abilene; two sisters, Ruby Drennan and Marjoree Gladson, both of San Angelo; one brother, Jimmy Rodgers of Anacortes, Wash.; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Ray Sparks
MUNDAY -- Ray Sparks, 75, died Friday in a Knox City hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Johnson Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Forrest Mann and Jeff Christian officiating, directed by McCauley-Smith Funeral Home.
Mr. Sparks was born in Winnsboro and was a U.S. Army veteran. He worked as a night watchman and moved to Munday in 1997 from Lubbock. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include one sister, June Blake of Goree; two brothers, Dan Sparks and D.R. "Buddy" Sparks, both of Abilene; and several nieces and nephews.

Dominga Hernandez Herrera
COMANCHE -- Dominga Hernandez Herrera, 70, died Saturday in a local hospital after a lengthy illness.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday in Full Gospel Church with the Rev. Marcos Herrera officiating, directed by Hall & Sons Funeral Home.
Mrs. Herrera married Guadalupe B. Herrera in 1942 in O'Donnell and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, of Comanche; three daughters, Angie Campos and Mary Arambula, both of Garland, and Cesaria Torres of Comanche; two sons, Johnny Herrera and Macario Herrera, both of Comanche; two sisters, Esther Herrera of Taylor and Nicolasa Carillo of Throne; one brother, Jimmy Hernandez of Taylor; 25 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren.
The body will be at the church until service time.
