Alan Reid Crowe
Alan Reid Crowe, 2, died Monday in a Dallas hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Buffalo Gap First Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Joiner officiating. Burial will be in Buffalo Gap Cemetery, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory.
Reid was born in Abilene.
Survivors include his parents, Alan and Carrie Crowe of Abilene; his maternal grandparents, Doyle and Barbara Gray of Abilene; his paternal grandparents, Wes and Gladys Crowe of Abilene; his maternal great-grandparents, Joe and Maxine Frazier of Abilene, and Norman and Claudine Gray of Potosi; his paternal great-grandparents, Myrtle Morren and Roland Rose, both of Abilene, and Lois Crowe of Potosi; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, great aunts and great uncles.
Memorials may be sent to the Reid Crowe Fund at First American Bank in Abilene.

Mary Reddin
Mary M. Reddin, 86, died Monday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 542 Hickory, with the Rev. Mike Chancellor officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Reddin was born in Deport and was a homemaker. She moved to Abilene in 1957 from Merkel. She was a member of Cobb Park Senior Citizens and Crescent Heights Baptist Church, and was the widow of D.H. Reddin, whom she married in 1929 in Portales, N.M.
Survivors include one son, Charles L. Reddin of Merkel; three daughters, Jo Anne James of Big Spring, Betty Sue Goode of Arlington and Glenda West of Plano; one brother, Bill Nixon of Abilene; four sisters, Opal Jowers, Helen McCoy and Mildred Utley, all of Abilene, and Mattie Burns of Clyde; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be sent to West Texas Rehabilitation Center, 4601 Hartford, Abilene 79605; or a favorite charity.

Frank Aycock Sr.
Frank E. Aycock Sr. 83, died Sunday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 542 Hickory, with Drs. George Gaston and Mike Stedham officiating. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. in Oakwood Cemetery in Cisco.
Mr. Aycock was born in Cisco, where he graduated from high school before attending Randolph College (now Cisco Junior College). He lived in San Angelo for one year and Anson two years, moving to Abilene in 1956. He retired in 1972 after 28 years with Halliburton Company. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Abilene and Masonic Lodge 556 in Cisco. He married Estelle Bint in 1938 in Cisco.
Survivors include his wife, of Abilene; two sons, Frank Edward Aycock Jr. and Fred Bint Aycock, both of Abilene; and three grandchildren.

Allie Hunt
Allie V. Hunt, 90, died Tuesday in a local hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Elmwood Memorial Park with the Rev. Mark Reynolds officiating, directed by North's Funeral Home, 242 Orange.
Mrs. Hunt grew up in Stephenville and was a homemaker. She moved to Abilene in the 1940s. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and was the widow of Buck Hunt, whom she married in 1926 in Fort Worth.
Survivors include two daughters, Myra Weeks and Beverly Jane Macks, both of Abilene; three sisters, Katherine Foster of Houston, and Evelyn McFarland and Mildred Levera, both of Amarillo; five brothers, Fred Lancaster of Fort Worth, Howard Lancaster of Waco, and Winfred English, Eugene English and Floyd English, all of Houston; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
The family will be at 4166 Russell.

Eugenio Verastegui
Eugenio Verastegui, 67, died Tuesday in a local hospital.
A prayer service will be at 7 p.m. today in North's Funeral Home Chapel, 242 Orange. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Francis Catholic Church with the Rev. Joe Uecker officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Verastegui was born in Mexico, where he grew up, and moved to Abilene in 1980. He then opened a tire shop at his home. He was a Catholic.
Survivors include one son, Alfredo Verastegui of Abilene; two daughters, Petra Verastegui and Juanita V. Ordonez, both of Abilene; one sister, Bertha V. Calleros of Mexico; 13 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.

Mary Lou Burden
Mary Louise Burden, 72, formerly of Newark, Ohio, died Monday at her home.
Services will be Friday in Newark, Ohio. Local arrangements were made by North's Funeral Home, 242 Orange.
Mrs. Burden grew up in Thornville, Ohio, and moved to Stuart, Fla. in 1978 and Abilene in 1986. She was a restaurant employee in Ohio and Florida and, since 1991, was a hostess at the Chit-Chat Club. She was a member of the Moose Lodge in Newark, Ohio, and was the widow of Richard D. Burden, whom she married in 1949 in Newark.
Survivors include one daughter, Diana Guglielmetti of Abilene; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Marjorie Watts
BROWNWOOD - Marjorie L. Watts, 70, died Monday in a local nursing home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel with Ted Kell officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
Ms. Watts was born in Lamesa and worked as a nurse. She formerly lived in Fort Worth and City by the Sea. She was a member of a nursing association, the U.D.C. and Church of Christ.
Survivors include four sons, E.M. "Butch" Wagner Jr. of Brownwood, Jack Wagner of Bangs, Roger Wagner of Gardendale and Billy Watts II of Gorman; three daughters, Beverely Hill of City by the Sea, Barbara McInnis of Cottage Grove, Wisc., and Teresa Maruna of Brownwood; two sisters, Luray Earl of Amarillo and Bonnie Scott of Abilene; 21 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5-6 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Ruby Marie Newton McDonald
HASKELL - Ruby Marie Newton McDonald, 90, died Tuesday in a local nursing home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Haskell First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Shane Brue officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Haskell County, directed by Holden-McCauley Funeral Directors.
Mrs. McDonald was born in Haskell County and was a homemaker. She played the piano in a gospel quartet that was part of a Sunday morning program on an Abilene radio station for many years. She was a member of First Baptist Church and was the widow of Hayden McDonald, whom she married in 1923 in Haskell.
Survivors include two sisters, Sylvia Force of Abilene and Mamie Griffith of Tuscola; two brothers, Edward Newton of Bridgeport and Leon Newton of Haskell; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be sent to a favorite charity.

Harrell Watkins
WINTERS - Harrell Watkins, 73, formerly of the Glen Cove area, died Monday in a local nursing home.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in the tabernacle at Glen Cove Cemetery with the Rev. Kermit Sorrells officiating. Burial will be in Glen Cove Cemetery, directed by Walker Funeral Home of Coleman.
Mr. Watkins was born in Talpa and lived most of his life in the Glen Cove area in Coleman County. He worked as a laborer and was a Methodist.
Survivors include four sisters, Elizabeth Rhoads of Cisco, Rena Ray of Sunnyvale, Calif., Clara Cottrel of Fresno, Calif., and Mildred Jacobs of Arlington; two brothers, Frank Watkins of Abilene and Reggie Watkins of Wichita Falls; and one nephew.
The body will be at the tabernacle at 2:30 p.m. Thursday.
