Sandra Gilliland Rich
(July 21, 1947 - September 19, 2011)
Sandra Gilliland Rich, 64, of Moss Bluff, died Monday, September 19, 2011, at her residence.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 22, 2011, at the Worthy Cemetery in Moss Bluff, with burial following thereafter.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
Sandra was born July 21, 1947 in Liberty, to parents; Hilton and Helen Payne Gilliland, and has resided in the Liberty area throughout her life.
She was a graduate of the Liberty High School class of 1965, attended Sam Houston State University, and was employed by Sears in Baytown as an inventory clerk for 13 years.
She also enjoyed shopping, knitting, crocheting, decorating, caring for plants, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Rich was preceded in death by her parents and sisters: Donna Morris and Sherryl Maxwell.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years: Billy Don Rich of Moss Bluff, daughter: Julie Pruett and husband Darell of Liberty, son: John Rich and wife Nicole of Tomball, sister: Diane Jones and husband Gordon of Tarkington Prairie, brothers: Bill Gilliland and wife Joann of Temple, Roy Gilliland of Liberty, and Mike Gilliland and wife JoAnn of Liberty, grandchildren: Wilson, Logan, Landon, Luke, and Lane, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Mandy Eddlemon

Amanda Rae “Mandy” Eddlemon, 43, of Normangee, died Thursday, September 8, 2011, at the Madison St. Joseph Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 11, 2011, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Ryan Cemetery in Tarkington Prairie.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday, at the funeral home.
Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
Mandy was born February 14, 1968 in Dayton and has resided in the Normangee area for the past 10 years.
She was a homemaker and baptized at the Grace Bible Church.
She enjoyed cooking, crafts, gardening, decorating, and will be remembered as a mother to many and the family supervisor.
Mrs. Eddlemon was preceded in death by her grandparents: J. E. and Ruby Shipman, sisters: Brenda Carol and Tanya Lynn Croft, and uncle: Johnny Shipman.
She is survived by her husband of 21 years: Kevin Eddlemon of Normangee, son: Klint Eddlemon of Normangee, mother: Bobbie Sue Shipman Banik and husband Melvin, Sr. of Flynn, sisters: Tammy Hutsen of Madisonville, Maranda Croft of Flynn, and Kandy Humphrey and husband Larry of Flynn, brothers: Jr. Banik of Flynn and James Banik and wife June of Deer Park, mother-in-law: Jean Clark of Coldspring, her faithful daughter: Lucy Lu Lu, and numerous other relatives, and friends.
Douglas "DJ" Joe McLendon

Douglas Joe (DJ) McLendon passed away September 21, 2011.
He was born January 28, 1932 in Mendenhall, Mississippi.
Preceded in death by parents Lonas and Ella McLendon, sister, Gussie Joe Lippman and granddaughter, Katie Mae Helen Hughes.
He leaves behind his wife Esther McLendon; sisters, Rhedus Deardorff and, Hilda Davenport and brother Cecil McLendon; children: Wesley Simpson and wife Cyndi; Cynthia Barton and husband Jimmy; Mike Simpson and wife Pam; Rebecca Knoles and husband Rick; Ella Pinkerton and fiancé Jay Neutzler.
Grandchildren: Debra Lawler, Christina Simpson-Salazar, Michelle Simpson, Brett Lane, Daniel Pinkerton, David Simpson, Billy Joe Hughes, Jennifer Simpson and Ryan Knoles.
Great Grandchildren: Vincent Carswell, Bridget Lawler, Michael LaCourt, Emily LaCourt, Taylor Thompson, Joshua Cooper and Conner Holt.
DJ came to Texas from Mississippi in 1953 where he met and married Esther Legate.
He worked in the trucking business for 28 years and retired in 1993.
He was active in his church and community. DJ loved to camp and spend time with family and friends.
Visitation will be held Sunday, September 25, 2011, 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas.
Graveside services will be held Monday, September 26, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at Brookside Memorial Park Cemetery, Houston, Texas.
Vivian Gray Noack
(December 31, 1936 - October 6, 2011)
Vivian G. Gray Noack, 74, of Taylor, died Thursday, October 6, 2011, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 13, 2011, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton with burial following at Ryan Cemetery in Tarkington Prairie.
Visitation will be held from 5 P.M. to 9 P.M., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
Vivian was born December 31, 1936 in Encinal, to parents; Benny and Emily Mager Gray, and was a former resident of Houston and Las Vegas.
She was a retired apartment manager, former employee of Mac Haik Chevrolet in their title department, and bowling league member.
She also enjoyed crocheting and gardening.
Mrs. Noack was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years: Wayne J. Noack, parents, and all of her brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her son: Larry Hidalgo of Taylor, daughters: Debbie Monahan and husband David of Houston, Lou Anna Walker and husband Clint of McKinney, Chris Smith of Weatherford, and Terry McCan and husband David of Crossroads, grandchildren: Jamie, Derrick, Dana, Jason, Page, and Trinity, and numerous great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
Brenda Kay Gilbert Yarbrough
(July 2, 1947 - September 11, 2011)
Brenda Kay Gilbert Yarbrough, 64, of Huffman died Sunday, September 11, 2011, peacefully at home surrounded by her family.
She was born July 2, 1947 in Goose Creek, Texas to parents Douglas Sam and Clara Kimble Rhodes Gilbert and was a 1965 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School in Baytown.
She was a longtime resident of Huffman where she was owner of the Tele-Made Medical Supply.
Brenda was very creative.
She enjoyed sewing, painting, building and gardening.
Most of all she loved her family and enjoyed supporting her husband Daniel in all of his horse rides.
Services for Mrs. Yarbrough will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Huffman Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday evening at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Dayton.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, her father-in-law, Glen Yarbrough, Sr. and her brother-in-law, Billy Plante.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Daniel Raye Yarbrough of Huffman; her sons: Brian Marcus Blackburn of Huffman, Troy Glynn Blackburn of Huffman, and Cory Raye Yarbrough of Huffman; her grandchildren: Payton, William, and Luke Blackburn, Mitchell, Logan, Jake & Mason Blackburn, Ethan and Seth Yarbrough; her sisters: Pauline Brister and husband Don of Liberty, Mary Skrla and husband Roy of Angleton; brother: Doug E. Gilbert; also numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 6977 Main Street, Houston, Texas 77030.
Jerry "Jeri" Eyvonne Pyron Farmer
(July 15, 1942 - September 28, 2011)
Jerry “Jeri” Eyvonne Pyron Farmer, 69, of Point Blank died Thursday, September 28, 2011 in Conroe.
Mrs. Farmer was born July 15, 1942 in Minden, Louisiana to parents Winford Wade and Donna Mae White Pyron.
She was a 1961 graduate of Pasadena High School and attended Houston Business College.
Before moving to Point Blank in 2004 Jeri had lived in the Crosby area for 22 years and worked for Diamond Shamrock/ISK before retiring.
She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Crosby, the Catholic Daughters, and the Quilting Guild in Huntsville. Jeri enjoyed painting, quilting, playing dominos, gardening, fishing and most of all her grandchildren and family.
Services for Mrs. Farmer will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 3, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Crosby.
Interment will follow at Heirlawn Cemetery in Dayton under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Dayton. Visitation will be 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday evening at Pace-Stancil.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Donald Pyron.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years: Dalton Earl Farmer of Point Blank; her son: Dalton Farmer, Jr. and wife Michelle of Magnolia, her daughter: Denise Farmer & life partner Renee Eitel of Fannett; her grandchildren: Dalton Farmer, III, Hayden Blake Farmer, Samuel Wade Farmer, and Alec Reed Farmer.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association.
