ALBANY - Mabel Price, 90, of Abilene and formerly of Albany, died Monday at her daughter's home in Abilene.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Albany First Baptist Church with the Rev. John Tunnell officiating. Burial will be in Fort Phantom Hill Cemetery, directed by Godfrey-Neese Funeral Home.
Mrs. Price was born in Snyder and was a homemaker. She also was a restaurant employee. She was a Baptist and was the widow of David Kenton Price Sr.
Survivors include one son, Eddie Price of Albany; one daughter, Roxie Godwin of Abilene; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 25 great-great-grandchildren.

Charles Seelig
HASKELL - Charles Seelig, 78, died Monday in a local hospital.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in Willow Cemetery with the Rev. Gary Bruns officiating, directed by Holden-McCauley Funeral Directors.
Mr. Seelig was born in Milam County and married Leona Clara Dueschel in 1941 in Irby in Haskell County. He was a farmer and worked at Rice Springs Care Home for 16 years. He was a member of the Sons of Hermann Lodge 241 and Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, of Haskell; two sons, Windford Lee Seelig of Argyle and Mark Charles Seelig of Katy; two sisters, Frances Vernon of Rule and Minnie Whitley of Grandview; one brother, Lawrence Seelig of Lawton, Okla.; one half-brother, Billy Seelig of Albuquerque, N.M.; his stepmother, Ethel Farmer Seelig of Lovington, N.M.; two stepsisters, Ruby Jo Longrie and Jerene Senirk, both of Lovington, N.M.; one stepbrother, James Farmer of Brady; and four grandchildren.

Pearlie Mae Wade
BROWNWOOD - Pearlie Mae Wade, 84, lifelong local resident, died Friday in a local nursing home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Mount Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Kelvin Kelley officiating. Burial will be in Greenleaf Cemetery, directed by Heartland Funeral Home of Early.
Mrs. Wade was born in Montgomery County and moved to Brownwood as a child. She worked as a cook at Chisolm's Restaurant for more than 16 years and was the widow of Johnnie Wade.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary Pierson and Madeline Smith, both of Brownwood, and Carol Standfield of Sacramento, Calif.; five sons, Freddie Williams and Joe Williams, both of San Francisco, Curtis Williams of Oakland, Calif., and Walt Williams and Dennis Wade, both of Brownwood; five sisters, Stella Kindell and Annie Mae Thornton, both of Sacramento, Calif., Helen Tregyle of Oakland, Calif., Ella B. Jones of Brownwood and Rutha Grant of San Francisco; 28 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Rick Hall
SNYDER - Rick Hall, 48, owner of Snyder Insurance Agency, died Monday in a local hospital after a lengthy illness.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday in Snyder First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Nan Swanson and Dr. Craig Curry officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Memorial Gardens, directed by Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Mr. Hall was born in Brady and lived in Snyder most of his life. He graduated from Snyder High School in 1967 and Texas Tech University in 1971. He married Jamie Stehley in 1973 in Snyder. He was a past president of the Snyder Rotary Club and the local chapter of the American Heart Association, and was a director of the Snyder Girls Little Dribblers and Snyder Country Club. He was a past master of Scurry Masonic Lodge 706 and was a 32nd degree Mason. He also was a Scottish Rite Mason and a Shriner. He was a district deputy of the 79th Masonic District of Grand Lodge of Texas and was active in United Way. He was a member of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity at Texas Tech University and was an elder at First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife, of Snyder; one son, Jimmy Hall of Houston; one daughter, Shannon Hall of Snyder; his mother, Mrs. Clyde Hall Jr. of Snyder; and one brother, Rob Hall of Midland.

Artie Martin
ROBY - Artie Martin, 81, lifelong area resident, died Tuesday in an Abilene care facility.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Roby First Baptist Church with the Rev. Mickey Wagoner officiating. Burial will be in Roby Cemetery, directed by Weathersbee Funeral Home of Rotan.
Mr. Martin was born in Rotan and married Melba Parker in 1938 in Roby. He was a cotton farmer and also raised cattle. He was a deacon at First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, of Roby; one son, Joe Robert Martin of Cleburne; one daughter, Virginia Ann Jones of Roby; one sister, Marlene Carter of Odessa; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Martin Wilson Parmer
Martin Wilson Parmer, 36, died Wednesday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Faith, 5701 U.S. Hwy 277 South, with Dr. George Gaston and Chaplain Billy Tucker officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Memorial Park.
Mr. Parmer was born in Abilene and graduated from Abilene High School in 1979. He married Gina Riddle in 1980 in Abilene and formerly worked for I.A. Parmer as an oil operator for 14 years. He later worked for SAIA Motor Freight and Halliburton.
Survivors include his wife, of Abilene; one son, Jacob Ryan Parmer of Abilene; his parents, I.A. and Mae Parmer; three sisters, Kathy Tidmore of Abilene, Gayle Corry of Irving and Patsy Devereaux of Arlington; one brother, David Green of Dumas; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Paul J. Herrera, 62, owner and operator of Paul's Barber Shop for 32 years, died Tuesday in a local hospital.

Mr. Herrera was born in Abilene and married Elizabeth Martinez in 1955.
Survivors include his wife, of Abilene; three daughters, Debbie Rodriguez, Priscilla Reese of Arlington and Mary Elizabeth Herrera of Abilene; one son, Paul E. Herrera; three brothers, Chris Herrera, Sam Herrera and Johnny Herrera; three sisters, Lupita Villallovos, Barbara Herrera and Elena Avila; 12 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Billie Dorr Lipham
Billie Dorr Lipham, 69, technician for Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. for 41 years until retiring, died Tuesday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Highway 36 Church of Christ with Dr. Edwin Headrick and Bill Eason officiating. Burial will be in Dudley Cemetery, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory.
Mr. Lipham was born in Truby and graduated from Anson High School in 1945. He married Mary Ellen Lassetter in 1945 in Anson and served with the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a past commander of both American Legion Post 57 and the legion's 17th District. He was a deacon and elder at Highway 36 Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, of Potosi; one son, Barry D. Lipham of Fort Worth; two daughters, Zan Blount of Tulsa, Okla., and Delores Loedel of San Diego; two sisters, Mary F. Stanley of Noodle and Laverne Barnes of Abilene; and three grandchildren.

Tesse Belle Painter
Tesse Belle Painter, 71, died Wednesday at her home.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 542 Hickory, with the Rev. Larry Tarver officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Painter was born in Ranger and graduated from high school in Corpus Christi. She worked in civil service for the Federal Aeronautics Administration during World War II. She married Dwight Painter in 1951 in Midland and was a homemaker. She was employed by the Texas Department of Public Safety until retiring.
Survivors include her husband, of Abilene; one son, David Dwight Painter of Spring; one daughter, Traella Kay Painter of Austin; one sister, Lessie Jean Roark of San Diego; and four grandchildren.
