FORT WORTH -- Tangy Teresa Turner, 27, formerly of Abilene, died Sunday in Fort Worth.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. in Abilene City Cemetery.
Ms. Turner was born in Lubbock and worked as a cook's assistant at the Tarrant County Jail.
Survivors include four children, Sergio Turner, Lakimothy Watkins, Talisha Turner and Derrell Billingsley; her father, Edmond Turner; three brothers, Edward J. Clark, Tommy Clark and Terry Turner; three sisters, Rosemary Clark, Gloria Jean Clark and Sandra Kay Baldwin; several nieces and one nephew; and several aunts and uncles.

Ada Murphy Patterson
BALLINGER -- Ada Murphy Patterson, 89, died Wednesday in a local nursing home.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Ballinger First Baptist Church with the Revs. Jerry Howe and N.T. Gault officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens, directed by Rains-Seale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Patterson was born in Runnels County, where she lived in Valley View for many years. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Marvin N. Patterson of Ballinger; one daughter, Wanda Harding of Ballinger; three sisters, Ola Dee Caudle of Clyde, Alma Spann of San Antonio and Idella Patterson of Dallas; six grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6:30-8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.

Valree Pearly McDonald
COMANCHE -- Valree McDonald, 92, lifelong Comanche County resident, died Wednesday in a local nursing home.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Oakwood Cemetery, directed by Hall & Sons Funeral Home.
Mrs. McDonald was born in Gustine and was a homemaker. She was a member of East Side Baptist Church and was the widow of Buster McDonald, whom she married in 1929 in Comanche.
Survivors include two daughters, Vaudene Pruitt of Mineral Wells and Julia DuPriest of Brady; one son, Elton R. McDonald of Comanche; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6:30-8 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Christine Brooks Clements
BROWNWOOD -- Christine Brooks Clements, 86, lifelong Brown County resident, died Monday in a local nursing home after a lengthy illness.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Allen officiating. Burial will be in Eastlawn Memorial Park.
Mrs. Clements was born in Bangs and was a homemaker. She was a longtime member of the American Business Women's Association and also was a member of Coggin Avenue Baptist Church. She was the widow of Meredith L. Clements, whom she married in 1929 in Brown County.
Survivors include four sons, Marden L. "Luke" Clements of Butler, Ohio, Carveth C. Clements and Don W. Clements, both of Brownwood, and Jerry L. Clements of Solvang, Calif.; one sister, Eva Muriel Wallis of Colorado City; 10 grandchildren; and eight grandchildren.

Lydia Marie Bradford
WINGATE -- Lydia Marie Bradford, 86, died Tuesday in a Winters nursing home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Wingate Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Myers officiating. Burial will be in Wingate Cemetery, directed by Winters Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bradford was born in Weatherford and moved to the Winters area at a young age. She married Obie Deaton Bradford Sr. in 1934 in Wingate and was a homemaker. She helped start the first 4-H club for boys in the Winters area and was a member of Wingate Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Obie Deaton Bradford Jr. of Wingate; one grandson, Lance Bradford of Casper, Wyo.; and three great-grandchildren.

Loyd Morton
Loyd R. Morton, 88, of Potosi, died Thursday at his home.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 542 Hickory, with the Rev. Charles Dunnam and Dr. Phil Shuler officiating. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Clinton Cemetery in Clinton, Okla.
Mr. Morton was born in Custer County, Okla., and graduated from high school in Weatherford, Okla. He attended Southwestern College in Weatherford, Okla., and was the widower of Edna Harrison Morton, whom he married in 1928 in Wheeler. He moved to Abilene in 1956 from Taylor and married Cornelia Black in 1973 in Abilene. He worked for Anthony's Department stores for 57 years until retiring as a retail manager.
Survivors include his wife, of Potosi; one daughter, Loydeanne Johnson of Lufkin; one sister, Elizabeth Karstetter of Sacramento, Calif.; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Ruby Deen
MERKEL -- Ruby Deen, 83, died Wednesday in Abilene.
Graveside services will be at 9:30 a.m. today in Rose Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Griffith officiating, directed by Starbuck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Deen was born in Compere in Jones County and married T.G. Deen in 1933 in Merkel. She was a homemaker and worked as a seamstress. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; one son, Bob Deen of Abilene; three brothers, Harold Hass and Ray Hass, both of Baird, and Stanley Hass of Hobbs, N.M.; one sister, Charsie Ryan of San Angelo; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

AVERY -- Hazel Marie Baker, 80, mother of an Abilene resident, died Tuesday in an Abilene nursing home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Bates-Rolf Funeral Home Chapel in DeKalb with Carl Raleigh officiating. Burial will be in Lydia Cemetery.
Mrs. Baker was born in Avery and was a homemaker. She was the widow of George D. Baker.
Survivors include two daughters, Gwen Hatchell of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Delores Goetz of Abilene; one sister, Lucille "Lucy" Wilson of Hondo; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Bayne Miller
NOVICE -- Bayne Miller, 77, lifelong area resident, died Wednesday in an Abilene hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Lawn Baptist Church with the Revs. Price Mathieson and Glenn Shoemake officiating. Burial will be in Counts Cemetery in Runnels County, directed by Fry-Bartlett Funeral Home of Tuscola.
Mr. Miller was born in Content, where he graduated from high school, and married Gracie Spikes in 1940 in Novice. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II and was a rancher. He was a former Jim Ned and Lawn school trustee. He was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2012 in Abilene and also was an honorary member of the Jim Ned FFA Chapter. He was a member of Texas Farm Bureau, Texas and Southwest Cattle Raisers Association, Texas Sheep and Goat Raisers Association, Jim Ned Stock Show committee and Content Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, of Novice; one daughter, Carolyn Gully of Novice; one son, Rex Miller of Novice; one brother, Wayne Miller of Novice; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
