Malcolm 'Lloyd' Parrish
CISCO -- Malcolm "Lloyd" Parrish, 58, died Thursday in an Abilene hospital.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Chambers-Wilcox Funeral Directors Chapel with Harold Hill officiating. Burial will be in Gunsight Cemetery.
Mr. Parrish was born in Clovis, N.M., and served with the U.S. Army's Medical Corps. He graduated from El Centro Junior College in Dallas and worked in the computer industry for 30 years, with the last 10 as a computer instructor at the Cisco campus of Cisco Junior College. He was a member of Church of the Latter-Day Saints in Eastland and was the widower of "Susan" White Parrish, whom he married in 1962.
Survivors include three daughters, Laura Ann Willis of Breckenridge, and Cheri Michelle Garcia and Dana Lynn Wampler, both of Cisco; one brother, Charles Milton of San Jose, Calif.; one half-brother, Gene Kramer of Alvin; one sister, Wilma Arlene Sollars of Paradise, Calif.; and 10 grandchildren.

The Rev. Jackie Darvil Morrow
GRAHAM -- The Rev. Jackie Darvil Morrow, 52, formerly of Knox County, died Thursday at his home.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. today in Munday First Baptist Church with Dr. H.B. Graves Jr. officiating. Arrangements were made by Morrison Funeral Home.
Rev. Morrow was born in Knox City and married Linda Pruitt in 1970 in Breckenridge. He graduated from Howard Payne University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and was a retired Baptist minister. He moved to Graham 5-1/2 years ago from Danielsville, Ga., and was a member of Danielsville Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, of Graham; two daughters, Sarah Blythe Morrow of Graham and Katherine Nicole Villena of Tarawa Terrace, N.C.; one son, Dustin Darvil Morrow of Denton; one sister, Betty Carolyn Melton of Munday; one brother, Richard Terry "Dick" Morrow Jr. of Beaumont; and six grandchildren.

Jimmy Charles Harvell
BROWNWOOD -- Jimmy Charles Harvell, 55, died Saturday at his home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Heartland Funeral Home Chapel in Early with the Revs. Mike Riley, Bob Riley and R.J. Elkins officiating. Burial will be in Eastlawn Memorial Park.
Mr. Harvell was born in Port Lavaca and married Wilda Cook in 1963 in San Saba. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for many years and was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, of Brownwood; two daughters, Tami Sue Harvell and Precious Harvell; two brothers, William Ray Harvell of San Saba and Johnnie Harvell of Goldthwaite; two sisters, Mary Barree of San Saba and Willie Mae Rae of Killeen; and many nieces and nephews.

Arvil Underwood
SNYDER -- Arvil Underwood, 61, died Saturday in a Midland hospital after a lengthy illness.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Snyder First Baptist Church with Dr. Marty Akins officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Memorial Gardens, directed by Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Mr. Underwood was born in Mead, Okla., and married Alice Hampton in 1955 in Gainesville. He worked for Mid-American Pipeline Co. for 35 years and formerly lived in Big Spring, Seminole and Hobbs, N.M. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, of Snyder; three daughters, LaDonna Tarpley and Terry Webb, both of Snyder, and Dianna Wright of Roscoe; two sisters, Wanda Carter of Odessa and Betty Watkins of Broken Bow, Okla.; one brother, Hoyt Underwood of Oklahoma City; and six grandchildren.

Charlie David Stovall
COMANCHE -- C.D. Stovall, 83, died Saturday in a De Leon hospital.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. today in Hall & Sons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don Longoria officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Mr. Stovall was born in Santa Anna and moved to the Comanche area in 1936 from Zephyr. He was retired from Comanche County Rural Electric Association and was a farmer. He was a member of East Side Baptist Church and was the widower of Lela Mae Fagan Stovall, whom he married in 1936 in Comanche.
Survivors include one daughter, Gladys Massingill of Mansfield; four sisters, Montie Ward of San Angelo, Dorice Maynor of Brownwood, Julia Townsend of Early and Flora Mae Stovall of Ballinger; one brother, Burgess Stovall of Bryan; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one great-great-grandchild.

Joan Seaboalt Spieler
CLIFTON - Joan Seaboalt Spieler, 77, died Saturday.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Clifton Memorial Park, directed by Clifton Funeral Home.
Mrs. Spieler was born in Abilene and moved to Clifton in 1956. She opened Joan Spieler Photography Studio (now Spieler Gallery and Frame Shop) in 1960 and sold it in 1982. She was active in creating Bosque County Conservatory of Fine Arts (also serving on its board), the Tin Building Theatre and Bosque Memorial Museum. She was a former member of Clifton City Council and a member of Southwest Watercolor Society, Casa Art Club in Waco and numerous other organizations. She married W.L. "Bill" Spieler in 1948; he preceded her in death.
Survivors include her mother, May Lee Seaboalt; one daughter, Kay Springer; two granddaughters and three great-grandchildren.

Jackie Rinn Bates
WINTERS - Jackie Rinn Bates, 86, of Ballinger and formerly of Winters died Saturday at a Ballinger nursing home.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today in Evergreen Cemetery in Ballinger with the Rev. Winfred Gore officiating, directed by Winters Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bates was born in Stonewall and moved to Runnels County in the early 1960s. She was a homemaker. She married Richard Austin Bates in 1983 in Ballinger; he preceded her in death.
Survivors include one son, Doyle Rinn of Ballinger; one daughter, Lavelle Hendricks of Brownfield; four stepsons, Bill Bates of Abilene, Dewey Wayne Bates of Irving, Truman Bates of Alvarado and Terry Bates of Virginia; one brother, Harvey George of Brownfield; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Victor 'Vic' Edwards
GILMER - Victor A. "Vic" Edwards, 82, of Longview died Saturday at a Longview hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with Blanton Dawson, Eugene Hall and Ted Austin officiating. Burial will be in Kelsey Cemetery, directed by Reeder-Davis Funeral Home of Hughes Springs.
Mr. Edwards was born in Oak Grove, Ala., and was an industrial electrician. He was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was the widower of Elizabeth Edwards.
Survivors include one son, Ernie Edwards of Hughes Springs; three daughters, Mary Ann Jackson of Avinger, Jane Johnston of Abilene and Ruth Howard of Ore City; three sisters, Eula Mae Gill of Birmingham, Ala., Imogene Cross of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Doris Hitt of Columbia, La.; 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7-9 p.m. today.

Maxine Williams
CLYDE - Maxine Williams, 66, died Sunday at a local hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church with Dr. Jerry Joplin officiating. Burial will be in Clyde Cemetery, directed by Bailey Funeral Home.
Mrs. Williams was born in Byers (Clay County) and moved to Clyde in 1960 from Abilene. She was a homemaker and had worked at Clyde Nursing Home and Home Health Care. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She married R.D. Williams in 1947 in Glen Rose; he preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, Jimmy Ray Williams of Abilene and Billy Lee Williams of Clyde; four daughters, Dorothy Faye McKelvy, Laura Jane Miller and Mollie Bee Black, all of Clyde, and Doris Kay Caffey of Abilene; four brothers, Albert Boyd of Gordon, Benny Boyd and Tim Boyd, both of Wichita Falls, and Charles Boyd of Fort Stockton; one sister, Ella Mae Brown of Petrolia; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
