Vernon Lyckman
AVOCA -- Vernon L. Lyckman, 88, died Thursday in a Stamford hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Bethel Lutheran Church in Ericksdahl with the Revs. Stan Leaf and Kent Wallace officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Churchyard Cemetery, directed by Tankersley Funeral Home of Stamford.
Mr. Lyckman was born in Travis County and was a farmer. He was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church and was the widower of Leona Nauert Swenson Lyckman, whom he married in 1933 in Pflugerville.
Survivors include one daughter, Nancy Greenlee of O'Donnell; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Francisca Luna Rodriquez
Francisca Luna Rodriquez, 82, died Friday at her home.
A prayer service will be at 7 p.m. today in Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 542 Hickory. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the funeral home with the Rev. Hector Sanchez officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Merkel.
Mrs. Rodriquez was born in Anson and moved to Abilene in 1962 from Merkel. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Assembly of God and was the widow of Antonio Rodriquez.
Survivors include four daughters, Manuella Sanchez of Gatesville, Antonia Silvas of Austin, and Rachel Wacker and Eloise Rodriquez, both of Abilene; one brother, Enis Luna of Waco; one sister, Angelita Castenada of San Antonio; 20 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

Mario Lomas Jr.
Mario Lomas Jr., 39, employed by Key City Painting Co. for 20 years, died Thursday in a Fort Worth hospital.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in North's Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, 242 Orange, with the Rev. Jack Eaton officiating. Burial will be in Tye Cemetery.
Mr. Lomas was born in Del Rio, where he grew up, and moved to Abilene in 1973. He was a Catholic.
Survivors include his wife, Thelma Maldonado of Abilene; four sons, Edward Lomas, Albert Lomas and Randy Lomas, all of Abilene, and Levi Maldonado; his parents, Mario Lomas Sr. of Albuquerque, N.M., and Maria Carrillo of Mexico; and Mr. and Mrs. Hector Lomas, who raised him, of Abilene; four brothers, Robert Lomas, Mark Lomas, Javier Lomas and Jake Lomas, all of Abilene; and two sisters, Jo Pena and Renette Curtis, both of Abilene.

Lady Clyde Hooper
SWEETWATER - Lady Clyde Hooper, 64, teacher at Eastridge Elementary for 20 years until retiring in 1995, died Friday at her home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Sweetwater First United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Edwards officiating. Burial will be in Sweetwater Cemetery, directed by McCoy Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hooper was born in Sweetwater, where she lived most of her life. She graduated from Newman High School in Sweetwater in 1950 and the University of Texas in 1954. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Lynn Price of San Antonio; two sons, Kirk Hooper of Plano and Kyle Hooper of Dallas; and five grandchildren.

Earl Lee 'Bud' Clower
BENJAMIN - Earl Lee "Bud" Clower, 46, former Benjamin mayor, died Friday at his home after a long illness.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in the Benjamin Memorial Building with Hank Wagoner, Dale Turner and Derrell Marion officiating. Burial will be in Benjamin Cemetery, directed by Smith Funeral Home of Knox City.
Mr. Clower was born in Knox City and graduated from Benjamin High School in 1970 and Texas Tech University. He worked in construction. He taught school in Roosevelt and at Lubbock High School. He married Debbie Lloyd in 1983 in Dallas and moved to Benjamin in 1986. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, of Benjamin; two sons, David Clower and Michael Clower, both of Benjamin; three daughters, Sarah Clower and Vickie Clower, both of Benjamin, and Christi Tomme of Colleyville; his mother, Gloria West of Benjamin; one brother, Robert Clower of Bridgeport; two sisters, Cathy Tomlinson of Whitesboro and Betty Parker of Aspermont; and one grandchild.

Ruby Elizabeth 'Rone' Crockett
BROWNWOOD - Ruby Elizabeth "Rone" Crockett, 95, of Hugo, Okla., and formerly of Brownwood, died Saturday in an Antlers, Okla. hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Greenleaf Cemetery.
Mrs. Crockett was born in Cross Plains and was a homemaker. She moved to Hugo, Okla. in 1991. She was a member of Austin Avenue Church of Christ in Brownwood and was the widow of Alvis T. Crockett, whom she married in 1920 in Cross Plains.
Survivors include one son, Foy Crockett of Hugo, Okla.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Hilda Anna Baitz Neumann
OLD GLORY - Hilda Anna Baitz Neumann, 81, lifelong local resident, died Saturday in a Hamlin hospital.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Faith Lutheran Church in Sagerton with the Revs. Mel Swoyer and Jeff Zell officiating. Burial will be in Old Glory Cemetery, directed by Foster-Adams Funeral Home of Hamlin.
Mrs. Neumann graduated from Old Glory High School in 1934 and was a homemaker and a farmer. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Sagerton and was the widow of John V. Neumann, whom she married in 1941 in Old Glory.
Survivors include three daughters, Martha Bruns of Haskell, Linda Diggs of Hamlin and Beverly Davis of San Angelo; six grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be sent to Faith Lutheran Church Memorial Fund in Sagerton or Old Glory Community Center and Flag Fund.

Bessie Irene Jackson
MUNDAY - Bessie Irene Jackson, 84, died Friday in a local nursing home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Munday First United Methodist Church with the Rev. William Sterling officiating. Burial will be in Benjamin Cemetery, directed by McCauley-Smith Funeral Home.
Mrs. Jackson was born in Hatton, Ark., and married Lynn O. Jackson Sr. in 1940 in Victoria. She was a homemaker. She moved to Munday in 1950 and was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was a charter member of Day Memorial Methodist Church in San Angelo.
Survivors include her husband, of Munday; one son, Lynn O. Jackson Jr. of Munday; two sisters, Bertha Wright of Hallsville and Emma McLester of Rockport; one brother, Bill Smith of Tennessee Colony; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Delores Olin
BROWNWOOD - Delores L. Olin, 68, died Wednesday in a local hospital.
The body was cremated. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Heartland Funeral Home Chapel in Early with the Rev. Milli Bradley officiating.
Ms. Olin was born in Beloit, Wisc., and married Henry Olin in 1945. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Brownwood Writer's Club.
Survivors include five sons, Larry Olin, Edwin Olin, David Olin, Dan Olin and Neal Olin, all of Brownwood; four daughters, Connie Olin of Temple, Rindy Fulcher and Peggy McLane, both of Brownwood, and Lorinda McBride of Montrose, Colo.; one sister, Madelon Phillip of Oakland, Calif.; 21 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
